Zahara Jolie Pitt’s Birthday Bash
Zahara Jolie-Pitt turns the big 2 today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZAHARA!
More pictures from Saturday of cast members from the film Babel, Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Rinko Kikuch, and Adriana Barrazai backstage after receiving the ensemble performance award at the 18th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in Palm Springs, Calif.
- On wanting more siblings for Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “Always, of course. We’ll let you know when we get there.”
- On living in New Orleans to film “Benjamin Button”: “I do like it there. It’s one of our most unique cities and it certainly needs some help right now. I know it will do fine, and the people are just fantastic.”
- Brad on his film “Babel”: “I love the undercurrent of this film, and that is the inability, sometimes, to understand where the other side is coming from.”
- On “Babel” being honored at PSFF: “For us, it’s about the ensemble award. Given the international nature of our cast, it’s a really nice honor.”

ITA agree with that poster
BP and AJ are totally committed to each other and their children. Only those blinded by hate and hope that the Golden Couple will get back together cannot see this (as if BP would leave sexy, caring, beautiful AJ for the freeze-dried X). BP is happy and contented. Haters can sit on their asses* and spam blogs to the end of the world. It will not change a thing.
The fans should stop worry about other blogs and magazine articles. Haters will spam these sites to make it look like this large contingent of people is against AJ. This simply is not the case. All of these blogs and tabs are self-serving. It is all about the all mighty dollar. If they can keep the triangle going and put up snarky and false quotes about AJ, then that is more money in their pocket. No web site is exempt. I like this site because it is less negative than the others. The few crazed haters who come here are dismayed at the support that BP and AJ have. I say keep it coming and by the way I have been sucked into the vortex of Voting for BP. I am in the matrix and can’t get out
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Z
I am a mewbie too.
I finally work up the nerve to blog with my fellow BAMZSers, after reading for months and months . But I didn’t know if most would think, I was a hater since I was new.
Even though patience isn’t my middle name I decided to continue blogging and once they saw I was an honest BAMZSer everyone would post back to me and with me.

To all the newbies:
I’m sorry if we “oldies” seem to be ignoring you. I have been off my computer for almost a week, and just got it back tonight. I’m sort of lurking between this and some other (non BAMZS) forums I belong to. In all honesty, and maybe it’s because I had such limited access the past week, I can’t tell the newbies from the ghouls. I’m sure time will make clear to me who is who, don’t worry. I’m just feeling somewhat down with all the mistaking of Angie’s words lately. I’m off to kill some baddies…….
===================================================
Thanks for the response. You should be commended for taking the time to answer us “newbies”.
Vote for Brad, he is catching up. Right now, go vote!
Thank you Julia for the AccessHW link. So cute. “Braaaaad! I want to scream too”.

Angelina Jolie: We Should Support Madonna
MONDAY JANUARY 08, 2007 11:45 AM EST
MONDAY JANUARY 08, 2007 05:15 PM EST UPDATED
By Stephen M. Silverman
Despite her comments in a French magazine, Angelina Jolie wasn’t trying to criticize Madonna for adopting a child from Malawi, she says.
“The article included many falsehoods,” Jolie said in a statement on Monday. “I said many positive things that were omitted. I feel we must focus on the present and I encourage everyone to be supportive so that every child can adjust nicely to their new home.”
In an interview in Gala magazine, Jolie, 31, said of Madonna and her efforts to adopt 1-year-old David Banda: “Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where (David) was born. It’s a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption. Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal.”
But Jolie, whose son Maddox, 5, and Zahara, who turned 2 on Monday, are from Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively, has sympathy for the singer. “I have been horrified by the attacks she’s been subjected to,” she says. “All that should count is the happiness of her little David.”
On Friday, Malawian child welfare official Adrina Mchiela said the government is satisfied with the way Madonna has been caring for David. “We have been monitoring her and so far we see a loving mother in Madonna and David is very fine,” she told Reuters.
Human rights groups, however, have argued that Madonna, 48, used her wealth and celebrity to bypass Malawi’s laws governing adoption by foreigners.
In her interview with Gala, Jolie also talks about her relationship with Brad Pitt. “Don’t go repeating it whatever you do, but, yes I love him. I love him a lot,” she says. “After I met him my life seemed more harmonious.”
Hello all newbies. Don’t give up. Everyone had to start somewhere.
Thanks for the Video. It was great. Thanks for all the links. Peace.

So right, what bothers meis the lack of basic comprehension of what is written . I work for a straight new organization. Nothing tabloid, we have to have our facts straight. I know alot of what appears in magazine articles is not “clean reporting”, but basic sentences are not hard to comprehend. The joy that some people take in twisting them into an evil missive, well it makes me wonder about what happened to them to make them so warped.
_____________
Sheri, you are in the news business so its interesting what you say. First let me just say that responsible journalists, who brave the dangers of warzones, disease, report on the politics of a nation in order to ensure accountability, have all my respect.
However, I have no respect whatsoever for the writers of Tabs and the blogs which just repeat the tabs. I don’t bother to read much about anyone in either the Tabs or the Blogs. More then the paps who merely take pictures, I hold the writers of these articles, who deliberately twist words, leave out comments of any person, including celebrities (after all, why should they be excluded from these rules) in utter contempt.
Although I haven’t followed any celebrity closely in the past till the JOlie Pitts, I definitely read my share of celebrity news and followed in a general sense, the going-ons of various members of the glitterati. It seems to me that in the course of the last 10 years, the tabs have definitely become more vicious, quickly building someone up and even more quickly, tearing that same person down. Probably its in response to the increased competition in the celebrity space.
My own guess is that, like everything, there will be a backlash about the viciousness of celebrity hype. I genuinely don’t believe that people want to read about Lilo’s drug addictions (from photos of her wrists, it is obvious that she cuts herself) Paris’s empty antics, Nicole R’s dying of anorexia, etc etc day after day, for the rest of their lives. Reading tabs etc is already a “guilty” pleasure because most of us know that what is being written is (a) rubbish and (b) delighting in viciousness. At some stage, I hope the public will go - enough already.
Some of us have commented on how they can’t understand how the Jolie Pitts can take the sort of unrelenting tabloid and papparazzi pressure. I believe they can because, they are older, have a family and work outside Hollywood which grounds them, know their truths and are comfortable with that knowledge. Amongst the younger ones like Lindsay Lohan (am I the only one to feel sorry and worried for her evident self cutting??), I wonder how they can stay sane and stand the pressure as a tender 20 something year old. I remember my own vulnerability all too well. Unfortunately, it may take a suicide or 2 to shock the public into realising that, yes, the tabs and the blogs who report the tabs unthinkingly, have gone too far. I can’t help wondering which of the celebrities, now under intense tabloid pressure might just crack up altogether.
gala omitted and when you omit, context is lost and things will be misconstrued…in that way it is almost as bad as fabricating…maybe it’s worse as you take a little truth and create the rest.
There are absolutely no boundaries. I can’t believe people are dragging the kids into it …that’s heartless. Brad and Angelina are adults and can handle themselves…it’s when Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh get brought into is what’s not right
As for the kids they are still very young. When the time from them to understand what is going on around them will come (especially Zee and Shi) all of that will be lost in oblivion.
Plus I’m sure their parents will make great effort to make sure to discuss every question that may come to their minds regarding some certain things like how the world is working. So no worries..
I’m closing my my post with a quote from Angie:
“We have a lot going on in our lives with our children and our work and our travel and all the things that are important to us. We have many, many other wonderful things to talk about than what the world thinks of us.”
Angelina Jolie on Larry King December 2006

The Extra interview was cute! you can tell he’s really confortable with the extra reporter.

Mr. and Mrs. Surprise?
What will Brad ‘n’ Angie think of next to stun us? Well, three hints as to what (or where) this little semishocker involves, my loves: bourbon, bourbon and more bourbon. Plus, those always intoxicating rantings from you, my shaken-not-stirred honey dolls!First that update on your fave globetrotting, do-gooder duo: Brangelina! Brad-babe, ‘course, has been hard at work filming his new flick, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, way down south in my preferred, spicy stomping ground, New Orleans.
Natch, Angie and the kids are in town, too. Too much celeb-spotting fun fer you lucky Nola peeps!
And get this: They might be there to stay. Seems the Jolie-Pitts have taken a serious liking to the Crescent City and have even bought a house there, say N’awlins know-it-alls.
Southern domesticated word is they’ve even enrolled Maddox in a semiposh N.O. private school, hopin’ to escape the paparazzi’s ever-present eyes. And it’s a religious one, too—which, I dunno, I just find kinda weird for the iconoclast Jolie, less so the fam-oriented, traditional, daddy-o-type Pitt.
But in that press-trailed covered wagon the Brangelina hons are hauling ‘cross the globe, makes perf sense, I s’pose, to see that B. ‘n’ A. might want to help out devastated, recovering New Orleans with their glittering touch of movie-star benevolence. Right?
Regardless, good luck, you two byoots…catch some beads for me on Bourbon Street, ‘kay?
Have you read Page Six today?
“WHICH Tinseltown sex siren with a humanitarian streak has resumed her old habit of dabbling with heroin? She paid a recent visit to an old rock star friend and joined him in narcotic stupor.”

Sharon Stone or Pam Anderson — sounds perfect for this.
The more I think about it, the more I know that ignoring these people crying out on Shiloh’s behalf will reveal the truth. Let them blow off some steam; they’ve already revealed too much as it is. People who know will not let this outcry, which is steeped in prejudice, will speak out. Adopted families, foster families, blended families, etc. know what’s up.

Thank you for the video but now I am so confused now! They says in this one that Angelina and the kids were at the Parker hotel there in Palm Springs and said “it’s important to us to keep the brood together.” Ok, in the ET! video he says that he left Angie of in L.A.
Do you think that maybe Angie flew up later with the kids to Palm Springs, and that was where she was when he told somebody that she was putting the kids down. If she came up later, man, they can not stay apart from each oter. I love that. You cannot say all them babies aren’t secure and loved with parents they get to see together and happy to BE together.

Happy Birthday Zahara!
Just popping in to say hi to the ‘oldies’ and the ‘newbies’ sorry, if I’ve been remiss is welcoming new posters.
This too shall pass, whatever this truly is. Brad and Angelina have always shown their truth by the way they live their lives. Hence, people ready to pounce and devour their young when they think they see cracks.
I just hope that they weren’t bombarded by so much negativity on their child’s 2nd birthday, though, they wouldn’t let it ruin her big day.
Hey don’t forget to vote for AJ!

Of course, I vote for AJ and BP every fifteen minutes.

And her articles aren’t supersaturated with pseudo-slickster jargon. As if Ted’s column worth referring to his glossary. As if!

Romantic though your image might be about Angie and the kids flying up later, I think the truth is simpler, the one which said the children and Angie were in the palm spring hotel didn’t know the truth and MADE IT UP.
