- Brad on his film “Babel”: “I love the undercurrent of this film, and that is the inability, sometimes, to understand where the other side is coming from.”
- On “Babel” being honored at PSFF: “For us, it’s about the ensemble award. Given the international nature of our cast, it’s a really nice honor.”

Hello to Lady G and other new BAMZSers. It is so great to see new names popping in, as well as the more familiar. I can tell you the best way to “talk” to others rather than just post thoughts( some prefer that) is to directly address another so they know you are interested. Begin your post with the name of somebody who has written something of interest to you, rather than respond indirectly. Things change, though. Trends seem to come and go, and posters who were here every day for months just stopped one day,( where are CB, Rizzos, Rica, Steph, and so many others?) I guess that is the nature of the medium. I will look for your comments and try to say hello!

I so very much agree with you. People thought Angie should say somthing to set the “blob” comment straight. Why, she knows her truth, she’s been in the public eye for so long she can handle it. I’m with you when it comes to the younger ones. I want to shake Lindsay Lohans mother and say this is your child. Stop cashing her checks and get her some help. She’s been on her own since a very young age. It’s sad. I’m waiting for the day a Tab is held responsible for some awful event. They write so many tainted things on these young kids, I believe one will crack sooner or later. At that unfortunate time, maybe the will be called to answer for the awful untruthfull things they write.
There’s a huge fire in Malibu, it’s still burning right now. I heard on TV that 10 homes burned. I’m praying for the safety of our favorite family.
I want to see these two at an awards show. Brad will wear a classic but stylish tux, perhaps Armani, and have his hair lightly moussed. He will look very tan against the white of the tux shirt. Angie will wear a va-voom sleek glittering dress–either black or white–that shows lots of skin, particularly her shoulders. Her hair will be upswept and she’ll have killer dangling diamond earrings–trendy, not matronly ones–a shiny small handbag, Christian Louboutin open-toed f*ck-me shoes, and maybe a discreet bracelet that Brad gave her that has some significance only to them. They will dazzle on the red carpet; unfortunately for the other nominees, everyone else will be eclipsed by the glamour, beauty and charisma of these two. Brad will win an award; they kiss tenderly. As the camera shows Angie beaming proudly from the audience, Brad gives a modest and gracious acceptance speech, throwing the credit to his co-stars and everyone else on the film; he forgets no one’s name. At the end he locks eyes with Angie and gives her a dazzling smile as he thanks her and their wonderful children, making a fond remark about the kids staying up late that evening. Her return smile sizzles. Their post-award
pictures from the evening make the cover of every celebrity magazine and lead off every show biz show or blog and are endlessly dissected.
Is that too much to ask?

I believe so to. As Brad said to People they left from the Virgin Islands where he was filming in 6 am landing to LA and then he took a flight with a private jet to Palm Springs and he went back to his fam right after they accepted their award. Propably neither of them got to much sleep so that is why Angie had to “put the kids down (to bed)” (Brad’s words) and get some rest her self.

Okay, well, I’ve got a vested interest in this voting thing now. I was at home today so I opened HELLO’s voting pages on my kids’ computers as well as my laptop, and have been setting the kitchen timer to go off every 15 minutes. My 20 yr old and 18 yr old just have to see me walking towards them and they jump off the chair to let me on their computers. (And in my defense, I also did a ton of laundry, cleaned out my closet and made dinner)
So please vote for Brad everyone ’cause we’re closing the gap and I don’t know how much longer we have to vote tonight.

You are so right. All of the immense pressure and unrelenting spotlight being exerted on some of the younger celebrities, like LL and BS, may well lead to some tragic outcomes. They are so young, especially LL, with little or ineffective support systems or life experiences to enable them to cope with all the attention. They have no privacy in their lives to keep the mistakes everyone makes private, instead it is splashed over the internet and in tabs. BS seems for example to be desperately trying to be 20 again with no children and no two exhusbands. She is dressing in a way that is like a SOS help me somebody signal. She and LL and others do all they can to keep the press’s attention but at what cost?
Older show business types have developed coping mechanisms. Some move out of the LA area, or they have stable support systems or families, or they have established careers. Brad and Angelina have been in this business for years, and Brad especially seems adept at dealing with the pressure. I think Angelina has found in Brad that stable support system that she lacked. She has always seemed to be AJ versus the world, now she has Brad and a family and seems very content, and is a happy semi-homemaker (if I see this then I know that this alone is making some people miserable). I say semi-homemaker because Angelina is always going to be her somewhat quirky unique self. But Brad is also somewhat quirky and unique, and in that way they are quite similar. They click.
Some of these younger celebs, especially young women, appear at times to be close to having total breakdowns. Look at LL, out of the hospital, and out in the clubs the same day into the next early morning. PH on the other hand has a supportive family and uses the press as much as they try to use her.

Well BAMZS fans I really have enjoyed celebrating Zarahas milestone 2nd Birthday with you all. This will be such a great year for the little princess. So many things change when they turn 2! They really start to see and explore! Best thing is she has wonderful parents to guide her. So Happy Birthday little one, and many more.
I want to thank all of you also, it was a very nice way to spend my evening. Even when closed minded people stopped by, they didn’t ruin her birthday. None of us gave them that power, and please keep voting!

Thank you for the video but now I am so confused now! They says in this one that Angelina and the kids were at the Parker hotel there in Palm Springs and said “it’s important to us to keep the brood together.” Ok, in the ET! video he says that he left Angie of in L.A.
Do you think that maybe Angie flew up later with the kids to Palm Springs, and that was where she was when he told somebody that she was putting the kids down. If she came up later, man, they can not stay apart from each oter. I love that. You cannot say all them babies aren’t secure and loved with parents they get to see together and happy to BE together.

The only thing I’d add is an anklet, purchased by Brad.
For some reason, I always thought anklets were very sexy. But the only downside is that it’ll decrease her gown choices.
