Oh yeah…Brad & Angie have to live up to a much higher standard than an infamous ho-bag like Pam Anderson. The welfare and mental health of her kids isn’t as important as that of Mad, Z, and Shiloh. Didn’t you know that? IIRC correctly Brad and Angie will have a parenting exam they have to pass at the end of January. If they fail, then Mad, Z and Shiloh have to go lie with Britney Spears.

i understand how you feel, but if they went after every rumor, they’ll only end up laughingstocks like SIIHW aka The Fraud. i’d rather they stay above the fray, almost oblivious, and continue to live their lives despite the bullsh*t.

Now, Gitane, I usually am pretty good in trying to decipher all those acronyms, but SIIHW? I know aka The Fraud meant that it was Chinocchio, but still the acronym baffles me. What does it mean?
Piper, with a low, thanks for quoting my housekeeping comment from earlier. We can’t stop the dirt from coming in, but we can all do our best to sweep it right back out the door, either way, it’s go to go.
I have to say, I agree with stardust and few others that Brad and Angie may have to retain a joint publicist as bad as I know Angie hates it……but I think even she can see that people are dragging her children into this in an inappropriate way, and once something negative is printed, no matter how big a lie it may be, a retraction can never undo what people already have in their minds. The b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t needs to stop.
Someone mentioned this on the other thread but it’s time that Brad and Angelina hired someone to aggressively stop these rumors from spreading..since even MSNBC was talking about it as if it were true.

Maybe Zahara will get to go to the beach for her birthday, maybe cake and balloons on the beach. She just seems to really love the water. Whatever they do to celebrate her special day I’m sure it will be happy and full of fun.
For me, and I’m sure others, Brad the dad has tremendously more appeal than the younger Brad. I’m not saying Brad wasn’t always gorgeous (still is)but now he is so much more than just a “beautiful’ man. He was born to be a dad. Its a shame that more men aren’t so enthusiastic when it comes to fatherhood.
I really like B&A. They don’t bother to correct the rumors by the tabs about them, no matter how damaging to them, but they will correct something if it’s related to another person. Unlike a couple which shall remain nameless, which is always quick at refuting any negative rumors about them, whether true or false, yet will let the tab’s lies on other people untouched.

Yes, I do see your point gitane, they can’t refute every rumor. Trying to do that is full-time job in itself, but they have to draw the line somewhere, or these rags will keep pushing it further and further. I only say they need to do something because the kids need protection from it.
But Jolie said in a statement on Monday, “The article included many falsehoods. I said many positive things that were omitted. I feel we must focus on the present and I encourage everyone to be supportive so that every child can adjust nicely to their new home.”

Now this is interesting, it sounds as though Angelina is acknowledging the GALA interview as legitimate. Why else would she say that said interview omitted positive things?
This really sounds like she is saying that, unlike what has been discussed here and on other boards, the interview is not a fake. But then again, People mag could be making up that quote…

Gitane - I’m not talking about every rumor, but they should clarify the major ones like if the Elle interview is just a mish-mash of old and made up qoutes or not.
I’m not saying they have to tell whether Angelina is adopting a kid from India, or going to Oprah’s school opening ceremony, or the silly African wedding story.
But let’s face it,people are not going to investigate if what they are reading is true or not. Staying silent and ignoring the tabliods was a good thing on their part or the last two years….but sometimes you just have to stand up and make things clear. I know we may not agree on this but I think it’s time one of them (Brad) makes it clear to the media to back off. In my view, I think because they became complacent and continued to ignore the BS, the rumors have become even more ridiculous and the media has crossed the line. The media has become way too agressive in spreading lies about Brad and Angelina. Unless one of them says “BACK OFF!”….unfortunately I see things as getting worse.
I keep waiting for the haters to show up to sing Happy Birthday to Zahara, but so far, there hasn’t been too many of them. Not to let my voice go to waste, here i come.
