Brad Pitt Going to Golden Globes?

About S. T. John they chose Angelina to represent them because they wanted to appeal to a younger demographic group. Mostly they have been worn by notable older/middleaged women like Hilary Clinton. Well, this is there chance to shine! This is why they gave her the contract! They have more riding on this than she has [as someone said way early in the thread, she’d look good in a burlap sack}

As for Saint John, I hope they know to take advantage of this occasion. So far they haven’t shown any business smart yet. For her Davos appearance, they could only come up with one style of outfit, just different colors. They could have done so much better, showcasing a wardrobe for pregnant female professionals. Lost opportunity there from their part.

Angelina isn’t being a diva. This company is paying her big bucks to represent their brand. There are going to be millions around the world that are going to see her dress in magazines everywhere. They are damn lucky she is picky. They really better realize was a gem they have and not **** this up.

I’m going to be soo happy to watch the walk down the red carpet, will they do it at 8:00pm Eastern Time? cuz that’s when it comes on TV here, surely the red carpet thing is included in the program!
Hopefully my roommate won’t be around, so I can watch it on the big tv in the living room. Otherwise there will be a HUGE throwdown! she likes 24.
I don’t think she hates B&A it’s just that she thinks I’m over the top.
Oh well, I do have a TV in my room, but I really would LOVE to see them on a plasma. This is her computer so she really can pull rank on me.

I hope that Saint John will really provide her with a dress that will stand out, as someone said earlier they blew their chance at the Davos press conference, they could have given Angie more choices than just one dress in different colors. They pay her the big bucks, they should take advantage of her high profile.
I had hoped for something other than black or grey, something in red would definitely make her stand out (like the Vogue cover). But hey, she’s got good instinct in clothes (otherwise she won’t be chosen as one of the best dressed by Mr. Blackwell). All I care about is seeing her and Brad at Table No. 1 at the GG.

Well, she’s not an X fan [unless she's kept it a secret, afraid I'll poison her coffee or something] and like I said before, she doesn’t hate B&A, but she hates the whole E!, Xtra, Access HW, Insider, ET, tabloid, Celebrity blog genre.
she thinks it’s a huge waste of time and stupid. I think the fact that she goes on shoe sprees that cost hundreds of dollars is obsessive and she needs to STFU

It’s so funny about you using your roommate’s computer and have to get off when she is using it. I have to share my son’s computer — actually of course I bought it but since it’s in his room, then I have to wait for him to go out of the house with his buddies — so sometimes, like right now when he’s sleeping (MLK day so no school for him) I can blog all I want but when he wakes up, I better skedaddle out of his room. Actually I find it easier to blog when I am at work — since I work on the computer all night, I just keep the JustJared window open and peek in whenever the work slows down (even if it’s busy, I still peek, but can’t comment!).
Tonight I have to be at work at 8:00 p.m. and then go on a 3-hour conference call, so I won’t be able to watch the GG’s at all, and can’t even peek or blog, but I am hoping that kind people will be keeping a minute-by-minute posting, so that after I get out of the conference call (GG’s will be over by then) I still would know right away what happened, and from the perspective of BAMZSers.
I understand people being happy today,but please calm down,at least until we see the pics.I hope VICTORIA BECKHAM goes to the golden globes,it will take the pressure of Brad and AngelinaI dont think its good for the cameras to be on them all the time.I also hope the tv network cameras don’t focus on them too much.
I am also dying to see them.I hope everything goes well for them.I like the way Brad is with Angelina on the red carpet.The kisses,his her rock,you can see when they are separated on the red carpet he is always loking at her,you could tell at the recent premeire that he was sometimes not even concentrating on his interviews whenever Angelina was away from him,he kept looking over to were Angelina was.They are just two wonderful people.

When I was 7 years old, I shut my right hand in the door of our family Buick. I don’t even know how I did it.
A sliver of metal sliced through the skin into the back of my hand. Blood spilled everywhere, as though I had knocked over a glass of cranberry juice.
I didn’t cry, not even a little.
Later, the nurse and I chatted while she placed tiny Frankenstein stitches in my hand.
“You know,” she said, pausing with the needle and black thread in the air. “Now you can never be a princess.”
“Huh?”
“When a prince marries a princess, he kisses her on the back of her right hand,” the nurse said. “But you’re always going to have a scar there.”
That’s when I cried.
Until that moment, I didn’t even know becoming a princess was a possibility. And with one swift toss of the car door, that was all shattered. Dreams I didn’t even know I had - dashed!
Well, I can tell you now that nurse was wrong.
As the Palm Springs International Film Festival is coming to a close, I can honestly say I felt like a true princess every step of the way.
The highlight was probably interviewing Brad Pitt, even though I was pretty much a stuttering puddle of goo.
I’m not even a Brad Pitt kind of girl; he’s not really my type.
But I swear to you, Brad Pitt glowed gold. I bet underneath his tux were some wings and a harp.
I couldn’t even tell you what I asked the actor. I’m not entirely sure I was speaking English. And I haven’t the first clue what he said to me - though I can tell you every detail of his eyelashes.
Where else could I have had that experience but the Palm Springs film fest?
That’s the fantastic thing about this event. We’re all treated like royalty here.
There is no air of exclusivity with this festival. Tickets are easily purchased. The filmmakers, writers and actors are welcoming. The parties are accessible.
So to the people who work hard all year, I have to give them a hand.
A slightly scarred, but still perfectly good, hand.

Yeah, the thread is about 57 pages now, 1600+ posts, but I think Jared doesn’t want to start a new thread until tonight, otherwise the haters would descend on us like a horde of locusts, and he would be kept busy responding to calls to erase this, that or the other (you know haters like ritzygal and her tons of aliases, and others who would post, engage in back and forth with the fans, and then leave their stink behind as they decamp). Right now, this BAMZS thread is buried on page 3 or four of his main thread so haters have a more difficult time looking for it (if they have the inclination).
Thanks for posting that cute article. If I had interviewed Bradley, I would have been like Maggie Downs too, stuttering, not knowing what I asked, not knowing what he answered, but I know I would have been able to write down to the last detail how cute he looked while licking his lower lip, and knowing what I’d like to do to that lip (ooopp, a little too early in the morning for this — SORRY!!).
