Victoria Beckham was SWARMED by paparazzi left and right as she arrived at LAX airport @3PM following a flight from London earlier today. She’ll be here for at least a few days house hunting and school shopping for her family…

Btw, I saw a video on TMZ of David being interviewed and that voice totally ruined any fantasies I may have had. He’s still hot though. I do feel sorry for the other players on the American soccer team since David is getting $250 million and the rest of the players’ combined income isn’t even close to that.
I know, I hate his voice too. But it’s okay, we can just stare at him. I know. I’ll mute the TV.

Personally, I think hiring Becks to come over here for so much money is a stupid idea. Most people I know don’t care about soccer (football, whatever). It’s a ridiculous amount of money to pay for him. He’s all right, but it’s not like Michael Jordan’s coming back in the league or anything. Personally, I could care less.
I think that athletes being “celebrities” is tacky. I have much more respect for athletes than movie stars, singers, etc., and being ridiculously famous only makes them seem more superficial.

OMG…I am so happy someone else thought the same thing about David Beckhams voice. I mean, that voice totally seemed out of place. However, I have to say that he is sexy, but, I wish I didn’t hear him talk. Glad we have a new golden boy for Hollywood, and it’s media to be drawn to, instead of Brad. I wonder if they are hounded this way in Britain? hmmm….it’s just the beginning…but, I hope they can survive it. Wish the Beckhams all the luck, and a warm greeting to the great U.S. of A. !!!
I’m sure she sent out a press release to get that many people there. The Beckhams are such publicity whores. No surprise that they count that little person Tom Cruise and his lobotomized bride as “friends.” They’re frightening. An anorexic monkey woman being a fashion icon–it’s just sick. David is handsome, but the endless need for attention, especially for their own superficial desires, is extremely unattractive.
I guess it’s appropriate they’re coming to L.A. though. People that fake and plastic will fit right in.
David’s career is on the wane - hey, another thing he and Tommy have in common - and his shift to LA is equivalent to retirement from the game.

Amy, I brought up Bamzs because I was on TMZ and they mentioned how all the attention was going to be on the Beckhams now. I was just making an observation. No need to get snarky about it.

No, I don’t Jolie and Becks would work. When you can have Brad’s deep, sexy voice talking into your ear, you don’t need David. David is sexy to look at from far, far away but if I had to hear that voice everyday, I might bang my head against the wall or maybe David’s head against the wall. Brad could read me the take out menu from Chinese restaurant and I would not mind.

My Posh opinion changed a bit when she did that hilarious interview with the two Brit boys. Becks seems like a good dad, and I like soccer and so that part is covered, but I had NO idea he sounded like that! I just assumed he had a nice even/deeper tone and boy was I fooled. Now I know why so many silent screen stars never made the cut when talkies hit lol.
