Jake Gyllenhaal in Drag
Jake Gyllenhaal dressed in drag for his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live yesterday. Jake, 26, sang a fantastic falsetto as Dreamgirls‘ Effie (American Idol’s Jennifer Hudson) to the tune of “And I Am Telling You (I’m Not Going).” HILARIOUS!!!!!! You must watch Jake’s song and dance below. Must! Must! Must!
If you missed last night’s episode of Jake Gyllenhaal on SNL altogether, you can download all of the skits here.

Very Funny :D :D :D :D :D
some nights the skits are just REALLY weak. i didn’t laugh at all of jakes that was for sure, i love him but the writers fall down more than not with this show.
i also think they happen to write the really ood stuff for certain people. alec baldwin’s skits are always on point. some skits need to die, like the lazer cat crap. what is that?
who wouldve thought he could sing! damn he sings hella better than I do esp on that last note..
Jakie was sooooooooooo cute last night and his arms are soooooooooo cut.
OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!! THIS GUY HAS A VERY HOMELY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOMELY, HOMELY, HOMELY
New fan here. He is totally amazing. He can really sing (I know everyone else has already said this) but- WOW! What a great sense of humor, but the skit surpassed funny because he did the song so incredibly well. He really does need to do something with that talent!
WOW!!!! Thats is just so funny and yeah he can sing…
he was sooo funny last night. one of my favorite newer snl episodes. and yeah, he is a good singer lol.
((((((CLAPPING)))))))))
I love me some Jake. I love guys who don’t take themselves seriously.
Wow! He can really carry a tune! And that was just hilarious - that he did it so well just made it so much funnier!
Jake was really good in that opening monologue, but c’mon, people!! This show SUCKS so bad. Those first few minutes were the only time we cracked a smile. These writers are so lame. Every week it’s the same thing - they take an incredibly talented entertainer and make him/her look really bad. I have to commend Justin Timberlake cuz he’s the only person besides Alec Baldwin to actually create something better than the material. I can’t believe these performers/writers are making a such a great salary and slapping themselves on the back every week for turning out this crap. Seriously.
Thanks Jared, SNL was wonderful and hilarious last night!
Jakes arms are insane!
jake was good lookin last night, i mean, he always is, but man, those arms were awesome!
I’m glad he was able to show people last night that he was able to do many roles, as he has said he can.
and the fact that he can sing better than most people i know, or listen to on the radio makes me love him even more.
go jake! here’s to many more years of your greatness!
Great performance!
he can consider to record the album..and if he will….I will buy it
LOL
OMFG! Jake! Can’t stop laughing!
I LOVE his arms!
instant classic.
Jake was great. Sadly the rest of the show did not live up to the opening.
JAKE G. is gorgeous, talented, funny, confident and smart… and yeah now we know he can sing. What a fabulous hilarious, stirring performance. I’ve not seen Dreamgirls yet, but now I really must. Dreamgirls’ producers ought to pay Jake for such great publicity. This Dreamboy is golden!
Cae bien el tío, posee talento y aparente buena disposición.
**** YOU DEWT!!
jake looks hot in a dress!! =)
