Angelina Jolie Takes in New Orleans
Angelina Jolie was spotted out and about this past Friday night with her assistant Holly Goline. The two took in some of the sights of New Orleans, Lous. stopping by Italian/Mediterranean restaurant “Angeli on Decatur” and “Gothic Bar” (both located in the French Quarter). Angie and Brad Pitt reportedly flew back to L.A. later that night. Golden Globes, here we come!

That is so funny to see how they all go to Angelina, Seacrest intro’d her first..and that’s why I think she kept a backseat…it’s Brad’s night. Did Seacrest ask Brad anything about Babel? Damn…he was so fookin’ hooked on Angie (he did interview her once on his show - and it was a good interview I must say), but it was like he couldn’t think straight…he asked Wahlberg about his WORK and Leo about his work…but sounds like nothing Babel related with Brad….was there an NBC pre-show too?? Maybe someone else did a better job, cause it sounds liek Ryan was Angelina-ized (like hypnotized). lolol

Angelina looks absolutely stunning as always, but tonight she seems almost unbelieveably gorgeous. I’m not too awed by the dress, but heck you could put her in a burlap sack and she would look good,lol. I am impressed that ST. John’s produced this dress, I wasn’t expecting them to come up with something classy enough for her. But hell yeah. she looks terrific. And Brad is sooooooo handsome, he just looks happy, relaxed, and at peace.

Yes they talked to Ryan. Brad was speaking most of the time. Angie is there to support him as Brad did in TGS premiere. He hardly talked. Both where like “let’s do this and let’s go inside..” :lol:
Angie’s dress was so elegant. She looked like a royalty. And I liked the color. I Loved her ethnic gold jewelries as well. Brad is casual and content as usual and very HOT. They both look very relaxed. I can’t wait to see the pictures. Oh did you see how Brad held Angie’s arm when she was going down stairs?? They where touching each other al the time. Sweet!!
Ok folks !! Let’s wait for the ceremany to begin!!

Jay Emanuel on E! is already saying that Angelina looked “upset” to be there, Debbie M made some idiotic comment about her wanting to be in a third world country saving orphans and that she thinks that all this red carpet hoopla is a bit “much”.
I just think that she’s trying to let Brad have his night, as he is the nominated one.
OMG, is anyone just sitting in front of the TV and grinning like an idiot? My prayers have been answered. They were so stunning. OMG, I love love love them. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

E! was dissing Angelina and saying she seemed upset tonight like she did not want to be there. I think that is a load of crap. I think she was uncomfortable in talking to E! after they invaded her home. We have seen a lot of tenderness between them in what we have seen.
Woo hoo! They looked so amazing! Angie looks like a queen as usual - positively regal in a good way :-) And yet she knows how to step it back a bit and let Brad shine, just as he did for her at TGS premiere.
I’m watching the FOXNews online broadcast as there’s nothing on Canadian tv yet and I had to laugh - they were in the middle of interviewing Courtney Cox and David Arquette and literally cut away from them to show Brad and Angelina on the red carpet - tee hee. They just can’t compete.
I keep saying she looked elegant, but it’s true. Her dress had a fitted waist but then it fell straight and had slight train. It moved beautifully when she walked. She was a little quiet in the interview but I think she was deferring to Brad because it was his night. They both put arms around each other and he helped her off the platform very protectively.

Angelina looked beatutful. She did not look upset to me. She was just quiet listiening to Brad and letting Brad take the lead since this award show is about him. She did the same thing at the GGTOG opening.

I think she was so quiet because it was Brad’s night to shine. Why’d Ryan keep trying to shove the mike into her face.
I’m sure she and him are also tired of the getting asked about how many kids they want and rehashes of their old interviews. Damn, they didn’t come tonight to talk about that.
