Plus, all the USAToday and other bloggers said people were gawking at them all night at their table.

Thank you!!! My point exactly. People are making molehills out mountains and running with any negative thing said especially from no-name women on the View.
People have posted positive reviews from major outlets. The fact that people are talking about AJ and not the awards itself speaks to the power of AJ. She is a woman that is not easily ignored and has a powerful presence.

What did he say about skinny dipping? How did AJ respond to the clip they showed? and to Brad’s skinny dipping comment?
Does anyone know if Angie has a fan club? She needs to know how many fans she has, and how many people love her.
They spoke to E, ET, Access Hollywood and Extra. They didn’t do CNN Showbiz Tonight, Inside Edition or Fox.
Like I said…did anyone catch Brad’s skinny dipping comment on AH after they watched that old video of Angelina. She must of said something about it and he was about to start talking about skinnydipping and she said “don’t” or something and he said “you brought it up first” Funny, cute, but Nancy O’Dell embarassed them
Just pondering here, nothing serious.
After reading some of the comments, I have been thinking about the studies on the question of how people identify emotions by looking at pictures. The researchers flash some pictures and the subjects identify the emotion represent in the picture. There are many dimensions of such research, men vs. women, positive vs. negative, dynamic vs. static, &c. The research outcomes hope to reveal something about the way the neurons in our brains are wired in congruity with our emotions. Several comments here - he did look, she did not, no she did but he did not, she clinged, he grabbed her &c. &c. - makes me believe that the authors of these messages seriously consider participating in one of these research programmes. It seems to me the ways in which the neurons of the authors writing these messages are wired are different and their reaction reads as outliers. I am not being sarcastic here, only saying that the research community may learn a lot from such outlier responses.
Anyhow, back to work. Thanks for the updates once again, reading the after-comments was as delightful as reading updates.

Yes, ignore the trolls, the poor things are to be pitied really. It must be so awful to have the type of magnetic attraction that they do to Angie someone they dislike so much- the turmoil obviously gets too much sometimes, be kind and leave ‘em be ;). I really enjoyed last nights events, I watched the red carpet show on TV and having no access to the actual ceremony it was great to get all the updates on here- thank you to all you lovely people. Can’t say too much nice about the red carpet show on E, I was so disappointed with the coverage because frankly I’ve never heard such inane interviewing on TV from adults. I commented at the time that if I hear ‘What are you wearing?’ one more time I’d throw something and unbelievably things got worse! I can’t see how anyone could take those presenters seriously, their questions and comments were so lame that I was cringing on their behalf. I’ve never really watched this type of show before though, so perhaps I’m being unfair, are they always like this? Ahh well, was nice to see what people were wearing.
when brad & angie got home, they probably got more adult conversation and better questions from madd & zahara than they did out of ryan seacrest.
They are so far out of Seacrest’s league and it showed. He showed why he should stick with the C/D lister’s.

i think that’s what pissed her off. she was really trying to be in the background and support brad. if they weren’t a couple, there would be no reason for her to go to the GG’s, but she went for him and the cast of Babel, people she met when she visited him on the set. but instead, it looked like everyone was more interested in what she had to say than brad, and she really didn’t know how to handle it or deflect the attention from her back to him.
anyway, where’s the clip of her jumping in the pool? i’ve never seen that one.

gitane, I don’t think there is a clip of her actually jumping in the pool. I think they showed the clip where she is saying that she was going to have to do it, since she had bet her brother about it….and that someone better find Randolph Duke since it was his dress.
I remember reading somewhere that a photo of Angie and Jaimie jumping into the pool is rumored to exist, but it is like the holy grail of Angelina fans to get ahold of it. From what I could tell, there is no video of it, only her saying she was going to “have to go into the pool”.
I also agree that them even showing it to her and Brad was very insulting, because it wasn’t Angie who was up for an award. They really were trying to make it more about Angie, and Angie didn’t want that. I wish I could tell what they were saying about skinny-dipping…. Angie laughs and says, “No, don’t tell them” to brad as they are walking away. Ohhhhhh, what naughty little secrets those two have! Yummy!

In the EXTRA interview, Brad said to Jerry Penacoli, “Down, Boy, Down”, after Jerry couldn’t seem to take his eyes off Angie. Oh, yes, Brad let everyone know that Angellina Jolie is his lady, the love of his life, and she’s everything he wants and needs. Loved it!!!
Guess moments like this are why the bottom dwellers/pond scum are out in force today. Too bad their delusions are now rendered as such, just figments of their imaginations.

There isn’t any network outside of E that said Angelina was upset. In fact Joan and Melissa Rivers along with the woman from InStyle defended Angelina and said she was perfectly fine on the red carpet. There was a lot of chaos down there when they arrived and they both were a big nervous at first but that she was stunning, regal and just beyond beautiful
Thank you! Even this husband and wife team on my local radio this morning were so tickled at Angie exposing Ryan for the airhead he is. She said she would be bored too if she was repeatedly asked those stupid question.
The truth is B&A fans after all these time cannot distinguish between the bitter Fanistons who troll from blog to blog posting repeatedly and the people that matter.
bdj, I’m glad you spotted that troll (’Confused’ #970) before I did, I was just getting ready to post and put them on blast. They are so fookin’ funny trying to come in B&A’s house (JJ’s) and think we can’t spot em’ - lololol.
Okay - I am ready to call conspiracy on all this bullshit. I think it starts with Murdoch and FOX, DT being invited to the Globes, after ripping on AJ late last year. I guess they thought that would piss B & A all the way off. I mean what rancid wrinkly smelly old man grouch balls DT has, the crude goat to show up on their turf, after having slurred this beautiful young woman. I saw a quick glimpse of Trump and Trump Ho as the show went to break - they show what goes on during the breaks, as they come back - and Trump and his plasticized fembot scary looking trophy wife were just sitting at the table by themselves, looking scared and alone - people were mingling all around - but NO ONE was talking to DT and his handbag. Hahahahahaha!!
But anyhoo, THAT, was the first thing I loathed and found puzzling, that SOMEHOW DT got invites to this show, considering his controversey not only about AJ, but Rosie as well. When America had won, and was talking about the self-esteem issues young girls face because of societal pressures — what women look like (and of course she was in the wonderful ‘Real Women Have Curves’ as well) I thought of Trump sitting out there with his ‘model’ wife, and how he had just finished a 2-3 week long tirade against fat, fug, ‘ugly betties’ everywhere by criticizing Rosie for that…I thought to myself WHAT GALL! I hoped he felt ashamed, but he has no heart or soul.
Anyway, THAT (DT invite) was my first clue that something was amiss.
The next thing was something I noticed just now when watching the tape of the Today show (By the way, I agree both Joan and Missy are forever off my hate list - and they deserve the support of all the BAMZS fans for their sane, and sincere comments about Brad and Angelina), before Joan and Missy and the other woman and Al piped in, Ange was brought up in on of the e-mailed questions - THAT is what got the ball rolling, oddly enough, no one at the roundtable had discussed B & A before they went to this e-mail. The question was on this order: “Angelina Jolie looked gorgeous last night, but what was with her mood.”
I was surprised! That sounds like it was hand written by Debbie Matenopoulous, or Seacrest.
That’s when the discussion touched on what was very oddly being made an ‘issue’ by a few, and why Melissa said what she did “that Angelina just wanted him to shine, she was being reserved, it was his night,’ etc.
But I thought, hmmmm - w/ regards to that e-mail….it was like someone had been handed their TALKING POINTS. Just like in politics!! Amaya weigh in! LOL
Clearly, if anyone actually watched the coverage themselves, they would not have gotten that impression (’that she was in a mood’), THAT was more or less coming from the b*tchy correspondents, she wouldn’t give the time of day to, and that are already rabidly jealous of her for obvious reasons…including that b*tch Ryan (come out of the closet already Ry!).
So I just found it WEIRD that this e-mail even made it on to the show, by a member of the viewing public…which is why I’ve determined, this whole thing is a set-up. A few media outlets who are in the doghouse with the JPs are deliberately out to get them.
Amaya if your on, weigh in…because seriously, it struck me as oddly political…you know when one pol camp tries to ‘SPIN’ a story into the public consciousness and make it truth about the OTHER (i.e., Al Gore’s constant ‘lying’ re internet, re ‘love story’ etc.) it had that exact FEEL to it.
Like someone aptly pointed out, AJ has the same expression on the red carpet all the time - it is a very serene, and beautiful gaze and she is not smiling. She was like that at TGS, she was like that in Cannes - that’s what she does. Always. When she’s done with camera duty, she laughs, talks, and walks and smiles, like anyone else.
She does this I assume, because people are usually snapping 1 million pics inside of 2 secs with blinding flashes. Smiling for that length of time would not only make your face hurt, you’d look goofy in some of them, and your eyes would be half closed or shut, or you’d be relaxing your face muscles, whatever…it’s EASIER to just look serene.
…and YET - these people commenting on her ’supposed’ attitude, are only now noticing this?
See that’s why I think it’s a set-up….TGS caught them off guard, no one knew Brad was coming it was said, so they didn’t have a hit job in place - no missives ready to fire at them the next day.
But with the Globes, they’ve had time to plan.
Thankfully, most outlets aren’t in on whatever it is, so the good is outweighing the bad.
But much like Al Gore and his ‘earth tones’ I worry that it will just become the public lore that Angie was a b*tch on the red carpet, all the better to purposely juxtapose her with the ‘American Sweetheart’ and the memories of her ‘I’ve got Brad Pitt and you don’t’ **** eating arrogant grins she would flash constantly.
So add HUVANISTON to the conspiracy mix as well….we KNOW he did one thing, that was waaaay too obvious for words….he dropped ‘Maniston to Guest Star on Dirt’ on the SAME DAY as the Globes. So that her name in some form or fashion is brought up during the same telecasts as Brad & Ange’s walk down the red carpet.
It’s all spin people…all back stabbing spin.
One thing these people need to look at: The ratings were the best they’ve been in THREE YEARS, that is DIRECTLY because of Brangelina…I think their leaving early was strategic, if you want us to play - you better treat us nicely. A message to the Academy producers as well, if you want people to tune in, I expect to see Brad & Ange there in all their glory next month, with Brad as a nominee.
There are a lot more premieres, and award shows to come, why be an idiot and cut off your nose to spite your face is what I would say to Seacrest, Matenopolus and the other lame simpletons….why insure that Brad & Angelina will NEVER darken your E! news platform by alienating them now.
