Brad & Angie’s Move to New Orleans
Us Weekly confirmed earlier today that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have moved their three children, Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh, to New Orleans.
Angie told Us at the Golden Globe Awards: “We love it there. The kids are going to go to school there. We’re really looking forward to it.”

I think NO suits them. It is so laid back there and they can probably go out without all those damn paparazzi on their backs. I love it there. There is something about the city….especially the French Quarter…. that pulls you in. NO is hot, just like Brad and Angie!!! :-)
It must be temporary, right?? I was just in New Orleans for the first time since Katrina and was not impressed. The French Quarter was back, but that’s about it. The locals I met were incredibly rude and vulgar. Better them than me.

I was loving every moment I get to see the couple on TV last night…That was the first time in a loooooooong time I tuned in to see the GG all because of B&A…Didn’t wanna miss seeing them…ANGIE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL (don’t care much about the negative stuff) and the PERFECT MATCH for BRAD…

Serendipitously, the first celebrities we saw when we entered the Beverly Hilton on Monday night was Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.
We were walking towards our first party of the evening and literally almost stumbled on them.
They were unaccompanied by security and as soon as they entered the lobby area they were mobbed by fans and reporters.
The pair graciously made an exit and left the building, skipping any of the Golden Globes after-parties.
Angelina is even more stunning in person. And Brad was so touching, guiding his babymomma along the way.
One day. We will exchange words. But this was good enough for now!

I love that Brad & Angelina are willing to take their family to the most devastated part of their country to live and work when others in Hollywood probably wouldn’t deign to live anywhere but in California, New York or London. Filming in New Orleans will bring some much needed money and jobs to the area, as well as keep attention on the area. At the same time, they will work on the environmental rebuilding project, all the while keeping the focus on the kids and family life! To heck with being King and Queen of the Red Carpet - these two know how to be King and Queen of Multi-tasking. Talk about smart planning and accomplishing so much with great efficiency.
I love that last night was truly their night - there was no other couple that had as many shots of them inside the Golden Globes during the presentation - and they were happy and glowing throughout - but even more I love that they have their priorities straight and know what really matters in life.

Not surprised the GG ratings were up. I’ve got to believe B & A had something to do with it. Remember last year how Huvane tried to create excitement around X’s Oscar appearance, and in fact the ratings went DOWN from the year before?!
When I read they were considering moving to D.C., I was disappointed. I thought it was the wrong place for them to live because the atmosphere is so political and George Stephnopolous hinted that many politicos were excited at the chance of mingling with Brad and Angelina. The last thing they need is to move to a city where is everyone is just waiting for them to arrive so they can gawk at them.
New Orleans is perfect. More open, more casual, people respect other’s privacy and space but are still friendly and grounded. I’m so happy they decided to move there while Brad works. This is going to be great environment for them all. It feels right somehow to see them in New Orleans. I know they won’t stay there forever but I think it’s a better place for them then D.C. Because in both places, L.A. and D.C. , there are a lots of intrusive and backstabbing people. In D.C., the politicians are considered celebrities in their circles, so it would be more of the same with the fake and greedy people just like in L.A.
No offense to people living in D.C. or L.A. I’m projecting my opinions on how I view these places.

Why does UsWeekly, Star L&S insist on putting the insinuation that Brad and/or Angelina talked to them when we know they didnt? A press onstop round-robin is done and in theory, yeah they talked and it got picked up as a interview, but it isn’t exclusive and usually 2nd/3rd/4th and if it’s really bottom barre, it’s 5th.
Remember that each at least UsWeekly and the Star were both banned from not just one press conference Brad has given, but from my understanding, it’s a “standing” order.
I don’t disbelieve the story in general, but I don’t buy that UsWeekly knows more than anyone else at this time.

I so completely agree, Mrs. Smith. For some reason, the over-the-top-tongue-in-the-throat kisses that TomKat display constantly leave me cold and unimpressed. Maybe because I get the feeling it’s trying TOO hard. But Brad and Angie’s simple kiss really melted me and tickled me inside …. the heat between them is just too intense!!! I just love this couple to tears!!!

Celebs and Charity: Trendiness or Benevolence?
January 15, 2007 - Bono, Madonna, Oprah, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie they’re all part of a parade of celebrity activists turning their attention to Africa.
But some are asking what these celebrities are really achieving? And what are their motivations?
This week in Hollywood, ABC News visited the latest example of Hollywood’s largesse toward Africa the star-studded premiere of a small, documentary that would never have seen the light of day were it not for celebrities.
The film, called “God Grew Tired Of Us,” is about the so-called “Lost Boys” of Sudan young boys driven from their homes during a civil war in Sudan in the 1980s, who then struggled to adapt to life in the U.S.
During the project, director Christopher Quinn went broke and the film nearly died. But Quinn called his childhood friend, Dermot Mulroney, star of such films as “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “Young Guns.” Mulroney, in turn, called his friend, Brad Pitt, who wired money the next day.
“I was fortunate to come in at kind of the last minute and get to throw up the last shot,” Pitt said.
Some Celebs Get Praise, Others Get Flack
Yet, while Pitt, Clooney and Bono are lauded for their African activism, other celebrities are taking flack.
Madonna was criticized for adopting a boy from Malawi who, it turned out, already had a dad. And Oprah was challenged for spending $40 million on a school in South Africa instead the United States.
“You can concentrate on all sides of the pond,” Pitt said, regarding such criticisms. “I believe one doesn’t cancel out the other.”
Pitt’s partner in activism, Jolie, added, “Our kids are going to grow up in the world and we better focus on doing what we can.”
There are questions over whether celebrity activists are motivated by charity or publicity. In late 2006, The New York Times ran an article about celebrity activists with the headline, “Misery Chic.”
Dermot Mulroney’s reaction?
“Well, if they can’t find something more important to write about, then maybe they should have fewer pages in the newspaper,” he said.
“There’s always going to be cynicism,” said Nicole Kidman, who narrates “God Grew Tired of Us.” “You are always going to get flak. You just are. That’s a part of it. Be willing to take the shots. Be willing to keep doing your bit, because if you’ve been given an enormous amount in life, it is your duty to give back.”
Even some critics admit that celebrities can get the public to pay attention to issue that politicians and the press are ignoring.
“Celebrities have the power to convince other people to follow them,” said Trent Stamp, who runs a charity watchdog group.
But, he added, that’s just the first step.
“Celebrities are great at raising money, but they may not know how to spend the money,” he said.
In the 1980s, the Live Aid concert raised millions of dollars, but most of that money was wasted and none of the underlying problems were solved.
But Quinn and the “lost boys” whose story he tells in the film that opened this weekend says this time, at least, celebrity money was not wasted, that it was well spent.
While standing next to Nicole Kidman at the premiere this past week, one of the “lost boys,” Daniel Abul Pach, said, “I hope there will be no more people dying again. It’s going to change, really.”

This just proves people are obsessed with Angelina…can you imagine for instance, during Maniston’s red carpet walk for her sh*tty tv show, they had stopped her and showed her a clip of Brad’s GG appearance and the funny joke he cracked about needing kaopectate, or other GG appearances? She would have been like WTF??? This is my night. She would not have been happy.
Likewise, if Brad had been nominated FOR A FILM and there with Man - can you imagine them showing HIM, HER crappy TV GG or Emmy clips?
Noooo…it wouldn’t have happened because with anyone else other than Angelina Jolie, these same stupid media outlets would not have DARED, and they would have thought it preposterous to show a nominee on the red carpet, a clip of anything other than that which has to do with that nominee.
They are all obsessed with her.
That’s what makes these lame tabloids like L&S who I thought had straightened up, implying anything about Brad and the man - and aj being worried, a laugh riot. That man is sprung for eternity for angelina it’s obvious.

Ladies ITA with you on the kiss. Talk about the heat and the sexiness. They don’t need to do more….but I’m glad that they do…………….for the past month or so they have giving us a glimpse of their passion and love………from the stolen look, the shy smiles, the slight touch, the giggling of happiness, the hand holding, the hand on the back, the hug and now the kiss………for us fan, this is what we are waiting for the past 2 years….phewwwwwwwwww….our heart be still just for a moment.
I guess Lainey will be crowing about this tomorrow…if she didn’t do it today already! She said a month ago that they were moving to NO, possibly for up to a year.
I am so glad that the ratings prove that Brad and Angelina as a couple are winners! Now we know that the Oscars are paying attention, since they had the worst ratings last year (and that was when Chinocchio was there — but what were people supposed to tune in for? Admire her hair? Admire her body? Admire her clothes? Been there, done that!!!).
Last year, we were all hoping for more PDA, this was around the time they went to Davos, and then we saw the handholding and we melted. Now, they are in full-blown PDA mode … and we are all thrilled to death. This is our vindication! This was what we had been hoping and waiting for since they got together. And I for one am so ecstatic and so glad they didn’t disappoint.

Thanks for that pix. It looks like Angie has two rings on her right hand, a gold band and a diamond band. Interesting. They are both GLOWING in that pix. You have to be born with what they both have, it can’t be bought, it can’t be manufactured, it just is or it isn’t.
THE KISS-hot, smouldering, just enough to leave one wanting to see more, firing up the imagination, a small view, a tantilyzing glimpse into the passionate relationship that clearly exists between these two. No slobbering groping display of nothingness as practiced by many for the cameras. Just real tingling heat. More on the way, they’ve opened the gate now, the forest fire heat will be seen at some point.
NOLA-The city will get some much needed attention and revenue from the paps that do venture there. The Jolie-Pitt family will be able to have some breathing space and some good family time. Daddy will work and be able to oversee his global green endeavors, Mommie will take care of kids and carry out her humanitarian work. Mad will be in school and play soccer, and Zee and Shiloh will flourish. All will benefit.
LA-The paps can focus on the aventures of the Beckhams and all the others who desire as much publicity as they can get. Paps will be happy, as will the subjects in their lenses. Tabloids will have plenty of stories to lie about in print. All will be happy.
I looked on CNN, but didn’t see anything negative. Maybe they came to their senses and realized that Ryan Seacrest is a nut job and not a real journalist. Based on the links provided by those of you who know how to navigate the internet everything I’ve read has been positive. The interview on Extra was sweet. They must like because after the GS premiere they had a good interview, also when Brad came for India with Angie and the kids. Why doesn’t he get more exposure? He is more intelligent than Ryan, Julianna, Debbie, Nancy and anyone I forgot. Joan Rivers is caustic when she wants to be, but she will give credit when it’s do. I know some of you are going to spas out, but seriously I liked Star Jones. She wasn’t mean spirited, nosy, caustic, or negative. She knew everyone, their history, why what awards they were up for, and she was gracious. More than once I have witnessed celebs rushing over to her for a hug, a compliment, or just red carpet chatter. Star wasn’t perfect, but she was intelligent and knew how to ask intelligent questions. I miss her.

Believe it or not but I liked Star too. Her wedding planning got on my nerves, but that was a small part of her whole run. It still bugs me that people are ignoring the fact that she was right about Barbara. But, that’s life, right?
Hey all - I think Brad looked fabulous last night. He obviously had a hair cut and his color was a little darker and his eyebrows too, so he looked more like himself than we have seen him lately, totally scrumptious! I loved Angie’s dress. Understated but like a grecian goddess. Just lovely.
The only thing I’m upset about is that I fell asleep without seeing Babel win for the best movie. Did Brad get up on stage? Is it on You Tube somewhere? If anyone has the link let me know. I know last night E was ragging on Angie being in such a bad mood, but you know I thought the same thing - these were the people who broke into their house, I couldn’t believe that Brad even got up there and talked to Ryan.
Oh well - regardless - they were amazing. If they would have only separated out the Best Supporting Actor/Actress Categories into the Drama & Comedy like they do for all the other categories - then Brad would have won. Somnething I forgot in my last post. Did he put his arms around her as he is doing Angie these days? I was aware of Brad, saw some of movies, thought he was good looking, thought he was white bread, no soul, no flavor. Where did Brad and Angelina go and what did they do during a quick break in the Golden Globes show last night? Oh, wouldn’t you like to know…
Brad and Angelina, natch. Angie, looking elegant in a gray St. John strapless gown, held onto Brad’s arm as they made their way to the small bar outside the International Ballroom and just above the pool area, during a break in the show. There are lots of 3 and 4 minute breaks so everyone famous who is trapped in the center of the room usually jumps up and makes a beeline to the bathroom or the smoking area, ostensibly to get some air (huh?).
Brad and Angelina stood at the bar to get some drinks (looked like water) with their CAA agent Bryan Lourd and then they all headed outside to stand underneath a heat lamp, as Globes-goers tried to get close enough to take their photos with trembling cell phones. “The temperature just shot up in here,” remarked one observer.
Maybe it’s just me but Angie’s multiple script tatts looked a bit paler than usual. Perhaps a touch of foundation or powder toned them down? Beefy security guards stood by in case anyone tried to speak to the hot couple. But Angie made conversation with several stunned women already under the heat lamp and David Arquette chatted with Brad but as one onlooker/listener noted, “He was kind of babbling and didn’t make much sense. It was weird.”
Brad and Angelina tend to have that effect on people.
No sign of the couple at any of the parties. Not Paramount, Instyle, Fox, Weinstein, Universal/NBC, E!. And trust me, I looked. Everyone looked. In fact, I’m still checking to find out if they were somewhere I missed.

They must like Brad and Angie because after the GS premiere they had a good interview, also when Brad came for India with Angie and the kids. Why doesn’t he get more exposure? He is more intelligent than Ryan, Julianna, Debbie, Nancy and anyone I forgot. Joan Rivers is caustic when she wants to be, but she will give credit when it’s do. I know some of you are going to spas out, but seriously I liked Star Jones. She wasn’t mean spirited, nosy, caustic, or negative. She knew everyone, their history, what awards they were up for, and she was gracious. More than once I have witnessed celebs rushing over to her for a hug, a compliment, or just red carpet chatter. Star wasn’t perfect, but she was intelligent and knew how to ask intelligent questions. I miss her.
Hi Stardust, count me in. I always have this hope that she is pregnant. She seems so determined to say that she is on the pill that maybe the deed is already done? I know I am not making sense but with my third child, I was so adamant that I won’t ever have a child again when I was actually pregnant already. You know what, when Angelina said she was on Diane Sawyer’s show, I got the same feeling. Like she was so sure that she is not going to get pregnant…I think it’s going to be a surprise to her this time around. Whatever the case maybe, I think something is going to happen sooner than later too.

WHY NOTHING)…Matenopolus said something similar and a some simple British dude from that designer reality show, gave her a compliment and a diss — he actually said something to the effect that AJ was mad because it ‘was all about her.’ I didn’t get it. New Orleans….the exact opposite of LA. Is it any wonder that when the JPs decide to settle down (albeit temporarily) they choose New Orleans? Just when you think you’ve figured them out, they throw you a curve ball. I’ve never been to the city…but I’d love too. Watching the TV Guide Channel with Melissa and Joan Rivers doing their commentary. First off, they really need to quit trying set GC up with Reese Witherspoon. Seriously, what is that about? Like she’s can handle him, it’s gonna take an African Girl with Voodoo….er….I mean very….er….good personality…yes, yes that’s it a good personality to get GC. Ughhh….and I was starting to like them again. What did they say about BP and AJ…..here goes
They both looked good, one of the guys invited to judge didn’t like her dress but said “Hey, it’s Saint John…the company she models for” (I guess that explains something)
Joan said AJ looked elegant and BP looked good as usual with his signature pin thin tie (I did not know he had a signature tie) and then one of the Second guy said AJ had the Romanov Princess thing going.

I just saw the E! Ryan Seacrest interview with Angelina and Brad and I don’t know what’s got everyone in such a dither. By everyone I mean other tabs and blogs. Angelina and Brad looked fine and Ryan asked some stupid questions but it looked more like a case of Ryan being in over his head than really being rude to them. And they were gracious and joked around. I noticed in other interviews as well that Angelina was trying to step back and let the interview have more access to Brad but they and sometimes even Brad would pull her back in. I loved that because it cemented how much she was his other half and the part that completed him. She looked so beautiful and Brad looked so proud to be with her.

I am watching The Insider and the lady host Lara said and I am paraphasing here that the best part of the red carpet for her, was Brad and Angie, she said that they were perfect together and that they belong together
OK Angelina was on the best dressed across the boards. The only place that said she had an attitude was E. It was there that it all started so it doesn’t count. The blog picked it up and put their snark spin on it. Then the lazy news wires started repeating what E said. Joan and Melissa’s Fashion Roundup will be repeating at 11:00 pm on the TV Guide Channel. They all said she was stunning. Even on the E fashion police show, they praised her but that Queen and Debbie Montenopolous (whateva) had to work for their payola by making digs at Angelina’s supposed attitude. They come off crazy on that channel because they are the only ones saying it. I will start calling E the crazy channel. Access Hollywood & Extra all gushing about Brad & Angelina. Et/Insider as well.
Okay, not that anyone is asking but here is my boring take on the ‘E’ issue. Seacrest and DiPandi are low end wanna-be “stars”. They work for a program that has the ability to promote them with their faces on television with repeated showings of their dalliances, so the unsophisticated TV audience buys into their antics and their egos…with their ego’s blown out of proportion, this in turn gives them the illusion they can mingle and make small talk with A-listers and they really believe the false image that they are apart of the “in crowd”…then when the shocking reality is that A-listers sometimes don’t want to bite at their chum, their egos get in the way, rejection occurs and out come the “retaliation” remarks of being snubbed in the guise of a person being rude or having a bad attitude, then the commentaries inflate and the media who just want to mention BP and AJ names makes a story out of it so they can be listed in a google search of BP and/or AJ and mentioned in global AP media print.
I’ve watched the videos of the Seacrest “interview” and there is no way one could project that AJ was rude to him or in a bad mood. She smiled and clearly deferred to BP who was the reason why they attended the event. She was not overtly chummy with Seacrest because rightfully she probably barely knows who he is. Also BP/AJ are asked the same questions over and over again and both of them had already clarified their home life in recent magazine interviews. Unfortunately Seacrest is not innovative or smart enough to think of anything new…he is like an overzealous yapping lapdog who craves attention…no offense to lapdogs BTW. The whole cast of ‘E’ if you watch their body language is about the “interviewer,” not the “interviewee”. In the glory days of “real journalism” the interviewer was never supposed to make the interviews about them and rarely were the cameras focused on them but on “E” every interview is about how the interviewer stands, which is their good side, hand on hip, head tilted (a typical Paris Hilton maneuver), and yet they want to be considered journalists. They also have the mentality of Paris Hilton…I want to be famous for nothing and by association because I’m that desirable…id, I, ego=pretentious.
BTW,Thanks to Estelle for the larger picture of the infamous kiss and re: #1040 last thread I enjoyed writing that particular post that made you laugh, thanks to all for all the links and to everyone who “posted” for those who are “TV handicapped” re: what was happening last night…we were able to share the night with you all.

From the hints Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are dropping, their photogenic, multicultural family is likely to expand sooner rather than later. When People cornered the blond-tipped “Babel” star at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Saturday and asked whether they’re considering giving Maddox, 5, Zahara, who turned 2 on Monday, and Shiloh, 7 months, another brother or sister, he didn’t hesitate.
“Always, of course,” responded Pitt, 43. “We’ll let you know when we get there.”
Jolie, 31, however, is far more specific about their parenthood plans.
In a sit-down with the February issue of Elle UK, she reveals they’re hoping for a brood large enough to stage their own basketball games.
“We definitely want a very big family,” the prepossessing earth mother tells the magazine. “It might seem crazy to build it so quickly. But if we’re going to have 10 kids, we’d like to raise them while we’re young.”
Angelina gets surprisingly personal about life with Brad and their adorable ankle-biters in the interview, discussing everything from feeling differently toward adopted tots Maddox and Zahara to her relief in finding a partner who shares her passion for good deeds and poopie diapers.
“It’s amazing that there’s that thing you should hold out for, that you’re not wrong in feeling something’s not enough,” says the former blood vial-sporting Mrs. Billy Bob Thornton and ex Mrs. Jonny Lee Miller. “What I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
Although she concedes she “needed somebody who cared about the issues,” she says she didn’t fall for Pitt just because he “will travel and he loves kids.”
Enthuses the plush-lipped Oscar winner, “He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man. When it comes to talking about something going on in the world and what we can do, his natural instinct is, ‘How and when can we do that?’ It’s the same with raising kids. He just naturally knows he’s lucky to be a dad to these really funny, lovely little people, so the way he parents them comes naturally. It’s just right.”
As for talk that Brad only became a family-minded philanthropist after ditching Jennifer Aniston and hooking up with her, Angie pooh-poohs the notion that she wields that much influence over him.
“We came together because we’re similar,” she says. “We didn’t become similar after. He never talked about politics or the charity things he’s done, but early on I realized he was aware of these issues.”
According to Jolie, she’s actually the one who’s been most altered by their romance.
“You could say he changed me,” she confesses. “I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant. I’m the one that got knocked up! So if you look at it that way, it was me who had the reversal.”
Besides, “The whole idea of what we are as a couple is just silly. Because we’re such, like, parents!”
Angelina also opens up about the adopted vs. biological factor in child rearing, admitting she tends to view Maddox and Zahara with a more sympathetic eye than she does tabloid-anointed golden child Shiloh.
“The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite,” she observes. “I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected!”
Continues Jolie, “I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this …” When the interviewer suggests the word “blob,” the actress immediately concurs, “Yes, a blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality.”
Angelina says her trio of tykes is “very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. [Shiloh's] grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning!” Still, she acknowledges, “I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
Jolie says that while their biggest parental problem these days is terrible-two-suffering Zahara tossing a tantrum whenever Pitt boogies in front of her, they’re already thinking about the day the kids will rebel.
“They’ll go against us one day,” she sighs. “We were trying to figure out how, because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and Mommy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is become Mormons.” (And somewhere in Utah, the secret recruitment meetings begin …)
Jolie also lets slip that Maddox has already picked out a moniker for his future sibling, one that apparently has his parents a mite worried.
“Last night I said to Brad, ‘If this becomes a reality, are we really thinking of that name?’” recounts the altruistic A-lister, who recently enjoyed a respite at a tony Caribbean resort with Pitt and the kids (the New York Post claims they filled their $8,000-a-night villa with 97 pieces of luggage). “He said, ‘Yes, I think we have to!’”
And while Angelina won’t say where they’re planning to find their next family member, it definitely won’t be Malawi.
When queried about Madonna’s controversial adoption of 1-year-old David Banda, she “chooses her words carefully,” according to the mag.
“That’s a tough one … I mean, I’m sure their hearts are in the right place,” Jolie says of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie. “But the reality is Malawi is a country … Well, it’s not on our list, because there’s a very limited number of countries you can adopt from.”

I know some of you are going to spas out, but seriously I liked Star Jones. She wasn’t mean spirited, nosy, caustic, or negative. She knew everyone, their history, what awards they were up for, and she was gracious. More than once I have witnessed celebs rushing over to her for a hug, a compliment, or just red carpet chatter. Star wasn’t perfect, but she was intelligent and knew how to ask intelligent questions. I miss her.

See, this kind of stuff should be rewarded. I know who you’re talking about. Lara is tall, and blonde, with hair that just touches her neck - she had a lot of diff gigs at one point, was even the host for Antiques Roadshow and Extreme Home Makeover, I like her.
I just think when people do the right thing, it’s admirable, but when they have great things to say - they should be supported. So I’ll go looking for an e-mail contact for her and share when I find it. There were others who had good things to say also, like Joan and Melissa - and ET’s Cojo. I think these folks need to know that there’s a ((((HUGE)))) fanbase that is on their side for being fair and positive towards these two wonderful people.

What is this sh*t? If I may be so blunt. First of all, I guess you don’t visit this site that much, because it’s been clarified and explained to the nth degree that AJ was NOT saying Shiloh was an accident. Damn, I’m so sick of this - are you an undercover troll or what??!! She was talking about in HER LIFE, pre-BRAD, in HER LIFE, she was saying that she ‘was not planning on getting pregnant,’ explaining that she was happy adopting. Um, Cliniqua, I don’t think Lucy meant anything bad by what she wrote. I think she was referring to the fact that there were similarities to when Angie was pregnant before and if she might be now. I also think Lucy was just connecting how Angie unexpectedly got pregnant before and might do so now. That’s not to say that Lucy meant Shiloh was an accident or that Angie didn’t want her. Going back just now and reading your post you are saying that Brad and Angie actually planned Shiloh? I must have misunderstood Angie’s interview as well because I thought Angie was saying that they were going to adopt but then found out that she was unexpectedly pregnant and decided to wait until after Shiloh’s birth. But Shiloh was planned? Well ****, maybe Lucy is a troll after all,lol. Either that or she got the interview wrong like me. :-) Oh well who cares,right? LOL. KISS just lives in the past. Brad is 43 years old, there are pixs of him kissing others to include GP, someone that at one time he mistakingly thought was THE love of his life (first intense loves can be like that). The person in KISS’s pix with Brad was never thought of as THE love of his life like GP was. KISS just can’t accept that he has now found THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE love of his life, and that there will be many pixs of Brad and Angelina kissing over the years to come. She will just have to get used to seeing these type pixs, because Brad and Angelina are for real.
I am so happy for Babel!!
And this also means that NO ONE will question or call Babel a flop again.
The Oscars will be even more interesting because Clint’s movie cannot compete in the foreign language category.
At the GG’s Marty got one award, Clint another and González Iñárritu the bigger one. But at the Oscars they will go head to head in the best director and best movie categories.
I am also hoping TGS will get a few nods too.

Aaaarrrggghhh! I just watched D10 on E! and they said that Brad gave CCa hug when they bumped into each other, then was talking to her about her show, then Angelina pulled him away! Anywho, BAMZS Fans I just started a new book entitled ‘The Tenth Circle’ by Jodi Picoult . The scene, on page 22, takes place in a high school English class in Bethel Maine. The teacher walks through the door and says, “Ladies and gentleman, why do we dream?” and a kid in class answers, “Because Angelina Jolie doesn’t go to Bethel High.”

I absolutely loved how Brad and Angie were referred to as royalty, perfect. To me, I didn’t see any “mood” w/ her, she’s Angelina Jolie not Paris Hilton, she doesn’t live/die for events like the GG. Hell, even comedian Mario Cantone said that she looked as if she didn’t want to be there (we all knew she was there for Brad) but he said that she is beautiful and that he’d sleep w/ her and he’s gay! The speculation every other week that Angie is pregnant is really annoying and geting old. Angie is always credited by her fans for being smart and honest, yet her statements that she’s on the pill and that her next child will (probably) be adopted go unheeded. An unplanned pregnancy can definitely happen to anyone even while using birth control.
Speculation, guesses, and assumptions are alright when someone hasn’t spoken on a particular subject. When someone has told you point blank what they intend to do and you believe that the person is as honest as they come, yet you suggest that they’ve done the opposite is insulting IMO.
Not that we didn’t know it already but CNN.com is a piece of c rap. Under “Latest News” they have “Report: Jolie, Pitt move to New Orleans.” WTF? is going on with them. Did CNN forget there’s a war going on? That’s there’s a fragile cease fire in the Sudan?
At least have the decency to put that under the Entertainment section. *sigh*

I thought I had seen just about everything at the Golden Globes. That is, until I got a sneak peek at the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party, one of the hottest tickets in town. (InStyle and Warner Bros. are both parts of the Time Warner empire, as is CNN.)
Talk about decadence. There is a floor-to-ceiling chocolate lounge. That’s right — a lounge made out of chocolate.
The sweet stuff is everywhere — walls of dark, white and milk chocolate. And, yes, it’s edible! (Didn’t we see this in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”?) Towers of Godiva chocolate are used as accents. There are chocolate tables … and a chocolate bar, of course. I swear, I felt as if I were swimming in a pool of fudge.
For drinks there are chocolate martinis, or the Golden Globe drink of choice: champagne. Chocolate and bubbly, what’s not to love?

Please still love me, guys…but I read Nicole Richie’s novel (I DID NOT BUY IT!) and she mentions Brad and Angelina. This isn’t an exact quote but she explained how the club scene is for young hollywood and how attractive girls get in easily and that girls outnumber guys in the clubs. She said something along the lines of “Every Brad is trying to find his Angelina” Her publicist is Cindy G. I believe :)

She projects herself so strongly into the triangle you have to think that she is experiencing a very primal fear that her husband or someone she loves will abandon her the way Brad “abandoned” Jennifer. it would be interesting to know if someone had abandoned her in her past, a trauma that she has yet to recover fom.
Sadly, the more you fear abandonment, the more likely it is it will happen to you.

Liya Kebede plays Miriam, Edward Wilson’s wife-to-be in The Good Shepherd. In real life she is a supermodel and Goodwill Ambassador for the World Health Organization (WHO). She does a lot of work in Ethiopia, her homeland, educating women about their reproductive health, especially a condition called Obstetric fistula. This is when “a woman’s body is underdeveloped from poor nutrition and her pelvis isn’t wide enough for her baby to pass through in childbirth. The baby gets stuck and usually dies. The woman is left with a hole, or fistula, inside that renders her unable to control her bodily functions.” This condition is easily preventable and treatable but poor women, usually in remote villages, do not have access to health care.
I wonder if Liya and Angelina got to sit down and talk about their work as ambassadors and their respective familial connection to Ethiopia? Again just a random thought but to learn more about Liya and what she’s doing in Ethiopia, pick up the February issue of Marie Claire. There’s a lot of good women out there doing a lot of good things in the world. Cate Blanchett is on the cover.

I never thought I would say this, but there is a very interesting discussion going on on the USWeekly blog regarding B&A rumored move to NO. Most of the posts there are pro B&A, and very well thought out. And of course there is one *sshole with the same obtuse argument posting over and over again. She said why do B&A want to settle in NO, and not in a poor small town, after she was reminded that B&A were criticized for not helping the US, and that now that’s what they are doing. Obviously for that poster, helping in the US is not good enough, neither is helping in NO. B&A now have to go to a remote village of Louisiana to really prove that they are serious. And of course she’s still hung up on the “knocked up while he was still married, blah, blah, blah”. Some people are so childish. But the other posters there are worth checking out. Please don’t tell me that some of those smart ones are posters here. I would like to think B&A have intelligent and eloquent fans all over the net, instead of just a few posting on different blogs under different names :lol:
Of course Brad/Angelina are going to live there while he films his movie. They have put Mad in school in LA when they are in LA for more than a couple of months. The question is will they still live there after the film is done. Even US Weekly did not say permantly. Some have attached that word to it. WE do know that In Dec Angelina has said they have no permanent home. She has alluded to both Africa and/or Europe not NO as more permanent places. Who knows. I am quite certain we will continue to see them go all over the world and the US as their work/Humanitary/personal projects take them.

Has People magazine confirmed this story? Angelina & Brad were in New Orleans before they went back to LA for GGTOU & the GG’s. Nobody mentioned a move then. Even when the picture of Angelina & Holly were released, there should have been some sort of mention then. It could be true but if US Weekly is the only source, then I would suspect it. I remember someone posted the scan of an article mentioning a move but it was from US Weekly.

My guess on the subject is that everyone, including haters, would like to see Brad & Angie have another natural baby because they produced such a beautiful baby the first time. I remembered when the family pics, the one with Shiloh’s close up, was published, even the haters agreed that Shiloh is one of the most beautiful babies they’ve ever seen. I know what Angie said but still wondered what their next natural baby might look alike. I adore M & Z.

I watched Access Hollywood, ET, extraTV, and all major networks. They all gave positive comments to Brad and Angie.
They all show the picture of Angie and Brad smooching. I’m so happy for them.
I have no problems if Brad/Angelina settle down or partially settle down IN NO. Its just that I am not going to automatically believe tabloids. I always expected them to live in NO while they filmed Brad’s movie. I’m not even surprised if they decided to buy a home since Brad has an ongoing project there. I have no idea if NO will become their main place or not. I’m not even sure that US Weekly was suggesting that.

Even when the studios are promoting major productions it can sometimes be difficult to get the big stars out onto the red carpet. God Grew Tired Of Us, an independently made documentary about four Somalian immigrants, pulled off quite a coup, therefore, when it managed to attract some of the biggest names in the industry to its LA premiere.
Brad Pitt and his Oscar-winning partner Angelina Jolie were both in attendance for the event, along with silver screen favourite Nicole Kidman and renowned character actor Edward Norton. At first glance the movie, which follows the experiences of four young boys as they try to escape their war-torn homeland and build a new life in the US, might not seem typical Hollywood fare. The flick became something of a cause celebre, though, as Brad teamed up with Nicole to make sure it got made.
While the Babel star acted as executive producer on the flick, his Australian collaborator stepped into the role of narrator. And, given Angelina’s work with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, it would be fair to assume Brad’s partner was also keen to see the fruits of their work.
Brad and Nicole’s efforts certainly seem to have paid off as the film has received glowing reviews, as well as two awards at the Sundance Festival.

Well, for Angie’s sake, I hope she is not pregnant too soon - it’s not good for a woman’s body to have pregnancies too close together as the body needs time to get over it. Especially if it is a cesaer! A freind who had 3 cesaers was advised by her doc to allow at least 2 years between pregnancies.
Of course, some women’s bodies handle it better than others E.g. Heidi Klum. But obviously even she hasn’t bounced back as easily this time if her dress from the GGs last night is any indication!

Liya Kebede plays Miriam, Edward Wilson’s wife-to-be in The Good Shepherd. In real life she is a supermodel and Goodwill Ambassador for the World Health Organization (WHO). She does a lot of work in Ethiopia, her homeland, educating women about their reproductive health, especially a condition called Obstetric fistula. This is when “a woman’s body is underdeveloped from poor nutrition and her pelvis isn’t wide enough for her baby to pass through in childbirth. The baby gets stuck and usually dies. The woman is left with a hole, or fistula, inside that renders her unable to control her bodily functions.” This condition is easily preventable and treatable but poor women, usually in remote villages, do not have access to health care.
I wonder if Liya and Angelina got to sit down and talk about their work as ambassadors and their respective familial connection to Ethiopia? Again just a random thought but to learn more about Liya and what she’s doing in Ethiopia, pick up the February issue of Marie Claire. There’s a lot of good women out there doing a lot of good things in the world. Cate Blanchett is on the cover.

The first time I ever heard about Fistula was when Liya Kebeda appeared on Oprah Winfrey. I was so sickened and outdone by what I had learned, it was from that point on I begain to support The Hamlin Hospitals Fistula Foundation. These is and example of the reasons why I give OW her props. She and Angelina plus very small handfull of others are the only reason I know about the atrocities on a deeper level.

Before I split, I wonder if they’re going to the WEF/Davo’s this year. It’s Jan 24-28. I wouldn’t rule it completely out, but I’d also be surprised if they’d go since Brad is filming, they’re trying to set up a home, and getting the kids in school. Worth repeating. Brad is approaching his relationship in a totally different way to that with Jennifer. In his first few years of his relationship with Jennifer he was depressed, in therapy, stop acting for 2 years, was away from Jennifer for long stretches of time. He seems to have learnt the lesson that you do have to work to nurture a relationship, to nurture the love. No, I’m not criticising Jennifer, after all, I’m talking about Brad failing to properly nurture his relationship and love with Jennifer. With Angelina, you can just see, in his actions, how important it is for him to have Angelina and his family close by. Sure he has his ME ONLY time, but he obviously spends a lot of ME and Angie time and Me and the kids time too.

In a rush, but wanted to say thank you AMAYA for the latest update. I’m loving this one so much!
It is a maagazine, people are gonna see it in the grocery store, the gas station, the walgreens, walmart, it’s gonna be everywhere.
Geez, there’s just really no satisfying everyone. I read and heard so much about the Ryan Seacrest-Angie episode. I didn’t see it at first, but when I did, it was just difficult to understand why all those people were saying she was giving Seacrest the death stare. Oh well, everyone will speculate. It did seems to me she just wanted to let Brad have the limelight. I mean, let’s face it, the two of them have been in the limelight for some time now, and not necessarily for reasons they want. I just think that if Angie had been more forthcoming, the critics would say she was taking the limelight from Brad, and it just so happened that she did the other thing so she’s being bashed for it. Oh well, she’s lovely as she is, and since there is no pleasing everyone, I think she’s just fine the way she is.
As for those who says she’s awful because she said Shiloh was unplanned and that she’s a “blob” and that she doesn’t love her as much because she’s born privileged. What bull. My son was unplanned, and when he was born, while I didn’t use the word blob, well, for lack of better term, it would’ve been understandable to use the word. But for the life of me, I love him very very much, and I wouldn’t give him up for anything. So just because a baby wasn’t planned doesn’t mean he/she isn’t loved or wanted. I think a lot of people who don’t like them just put malice into whatever these two people say. I just hope both Brad and Angie just let them go in one ear and shoot right out the other.

Anywho, BAMZS Fans I just started a new book entitled ‘The Tenth Circle’ by Jodi Picoult . The scene, on page 22, takes place in a high school English class in Bethel Maine. The teacher walks through the door and says, “Ladies and gentleman, why do we dream?” and a kid in class answers, “Because Angelina Jolie doesn’t go to Bethel High.”
I swear our girl is everywhere. LOL

I just finished reading Lauren Weisberger’s latest novel, ‘Everyone worth knowing’, she wrote the book ‘Devil wears Prada’, and in this follow up book which is an expose of media, PR and gossip industry machinations. Her main character said that she even knows the name of Angelina Jolie’s adopted children, and there was a reference about hosting a party for the premiere of Mr and Mrs Smith. The book was not as good a read as Devil Wears Prada, but the insight into the workings of PR companies and gossip columnists is on the money,, it is everything we have speculated here. The relationship is unseamly, and nothing is as it appears.

The speculation every other week that Angie is pregnant is really annoying and geting old. Angie is always credited by her fans for being smart and honest, yet her statements that she’s on the pill and that her next child will (probably) be adopted go unheeded. An unplanned pregnancy can definitely happen to anyone even while using birth control.
Speculation, guesses, and assumptions are alright when someone hasn’t spoken on a particular subject. When someone has told you point blank what they intend to do and you believe that the person is as honest as they come, yet you suggest that they’ve done the opposite is insulting IMO*******
ITA. I visit some sites and all I hear is “I think I see a bump”…..or “I on the pregnancy train”….Brad & Angelina planned to conceive Shiloh. There is no doubt in my mind that Shiloh is a product of their deep love for each other. I am blown away by the comittment they have to these children. That love shows in the pictures we see and how they talk about these children in interviews. Angelina is no kid and knows how to “not get pregnant” if she chooses. Brad is very happy with her and it shows as she has given him the family that he has wanted since forever. They are considerate of each others careers by only making film commitments where at least one parent is not working. Nether had this level of comitment in previous relationships, and they seem to have learned from these experiences.
I really believe that their next child will be adopted. Brad and Angelina appear to be on the same page concerning the size of their family.
Maybe now they will get some peace, but I would not count on it. I think it will be better for them in any event. No matter where they move, the pap’s will be after them.

You are partially correct. Even Angelina herself said that she and Mad could go to the park and to the grocery store and be left alone before she and Brad were together, so yes, it is partly because she is with Brad, as you say, but there is something about the two of them together that amplifies everything. People are so curious as to how he fell so hard and fast for her, and additonally, they are intriqued as to just how this man, Brad Pitt, former pretty-boy and dabbler in architecture, was able to tame and satisfy Hollywood’s ultimate exotic wild flower who once said she wanted “to taste everyone”. On the surface, they both seem to “against type” for the other, but once you look deeper, you see it all makes perfect sense. Add to that the air of mytery their fierce pact to keep private things private brings into the mix, and you have a recipe for intense media interest.
It’s the combo of the two that has whipped everyone into a frenzy.

I have to chime in here, too. I was watching a rerun of “The O.C.” on TV with my teenage daughters the other day. Two of the characters were discussing stable romantic relationships, and one said “Well, how about Brad and Jen? Everyone thought that their relationship was stable. No one knew that Brad was so very unhappy and just waiting for Angelina to come along and rescue him.” I was so delighted that they’re getting the truth out to our younger generation! And Doug Liman, the MMS Director, is attached to that show. He’s directed a couple of episodes and produced or executive produced quite a few. I checked IMDB to see if he was attached to that particular episode but it was too new, they need to update.

I doubt they are going to live their for the rest of their lives. Maybe they might buy a home there for good, but that’s not going to be their final home. Don’t believe Us Weekly, even if the story sounds sweet. I really doubt Angelina gave them any exclusive. They are on the **** list right next to Fox News and Life and Style lol.
I think the reason why the haters are doing what they are doing to Angie because they could not believe Angie is a changed woman from the past. They could not believe that Angie has a good heart. They think Brad is too good for Angie and they believe the fake Aniston is the real deal. They don’t know that Angie has grown up to be the woman that she is now. This is the reason why they are trying to pull Angie down to what she was in the past to prove their thinking to be real.
Well, they are wrong. You can see Angie’s character from the charitable work she is doing. She is the real deal. The haters can continue to wish bad things to happen to Angie but there is Somebody up there who is helping her because He can see the goodness of her heart. Us Weekly recounts this moment between the superstars at Monday’s Golden Globes.
Courteney Cox (with hubby David Arquette) approached Brad Pitt, who responded with a bear hug and said, “Hello, sweetheart. It is SO great to see you.”
The group chatted about their kids, with Pitt quipping, “We did Finding Nemo, but they’ve been off that for a while. We have a 5-year-old!”

I believe People also! No way in he## would Brad let Angelina be “standing a few steps away” while he was talking to the Arquettes about his and Angelina’s children. Look at the way they were by each others side during the walk up the red carpet, separating only for the “briefest” moment. Otherwise they stuck to each other like glue. Angelina knows who the Arquettes are and I doubt she’d move from Brad side while he chit-chatted with them. The US piece read like Angelina pulled him away, thus feeding into their agenda. Glad they are moving to NO for a while….bet US Magazine will bribe one of the soccer moms that Angie will befriend for information.

Such an amazingly beautiful family- inside & out- there is absolutely nothing uppity or snobbish about them- they truly come across as very humble individuals- with the good sense to realize that they are most fortunate and therefore feel a need to give back and do what they can to help those that are less fortunate… such a breath of fresh air and so rare when most of hollywood/stars are so selfish, arrogant and only care about their own self-image and the amount of $$$ they can acquire… if only others would follow their lead…
