Beyonce’s dress was terrible
Hooray for Jen Hudson-I cried for her-I haven’t seen the movie so I can’t say about Eddie, but I did want Brad to win. This awards show was better than it has been-Sacha Baron Cohen was soo funny and the dude that plays the doc in house was too-Meryl Streep is just Classic! Love everything she does-Helen Mirren, Love her Loved the PBS series, she was so excellent in that-What can I say about Forrest Whitaker? I haven’t seen him in a while and it was obvious he had no idea he would be so honored. PRINCE!!! Prince and Jlo are beautiful ppl- I have NEVER seen either of them undone. Prince rules his own music and business and I admire the hell out of him for that! I woke up just overjoyed! For any of you who want to make it-Jen Hudson’s example and America F’s should inspire you! Go for it! Who knows what might would happen? Can’t wait for the Oscars
Beyonce’s dress was not even cute!! Does she think she’s at the MTV music awards?? I’m glad she didn’t win, the ***** can’t act anyways!!
Normally I like Beyonce but she seems a little starved for attention here. Her dress says, “Look at me”
I’m so glad that Jennifer won. She did an awesome job in Dreamgirls. She literally stole the show. IMO, she is the star of Dreamgirls. I can’t wait to see what she does next!
It was also very nice to see Eddie Murphy win also!
**Jared, I think there may be some problems with your site. It is going extremely slow. At first, I thought it was my computer at work, but it’s also happening on my computer at home.**
So when did bloggers become members of the Academy? And as far as Brad Pitt winning best supporting actor, dream on he didn’t have enough screen time compared to the other potential front runners.
And Babel is nothing, but a foreign remake of Crash.
Well my goodness! I was rather shocked that Eddie Murphy won. But I’m pleased nevertheless. He did well in the role.
Wasn’t surprised about Jennifer’s win, though. She is fantastic. Hope she has a long career!
Thank God some one in Hollywood finally woke up and gave JH a recording deal!
Clive Davis is the man:)
Beyone looks good to me. BOOTYLICIOUSSSSSSSSSSS
My take on the Oscars:
Best Actress: Helen Mirren
Best Actor: Forrest Whitaker
Best Supporting Actor: Eddie Murphy
Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Hudson
Best Film: Dream Girls or Letters from Iwo Jima
Best Director: Scorcese or Clint Eastwood
Best Script: The Queen
Clint has a good shot because the Academy loves him.
I actually liked Beyonce’s dress. She’s a singer, so she has to glam it up. Wish she would have done something with her hair, looked kind of flat.
Jennifer Hudson kudos on the win!!!! Eddie Murphy was good in the movie, but sort of reminded me of “Sexy Chocolate” in Coming to America.
They ALL look sexy!
Beyonce looked better than most. Cameron Diaz looked a hot mess!

I agree with you. Too bad he wasn’t able to accept personally. But I love that Hugh brought attention to it and asked him to stand. Prince is an absolute genius. I will admit I choked up three times when America, Jennifer, and Forrest became overwhelmed with emotion.
Now that Dreamgirls has garnered some respect by winning, maybe David Geffen will expand the movie from only 852 theatres to the normal 3,000+.
And although it is only showing in a few theatres its still in the TOP 5 of movies out now in the theatres.
Personally I don’t think anyone can predict how the oscars will be handed out. Not even the golden globes was predicatable instead there were a few nice surprises-Forrest Whitaker (kudos).
The look on Clint Eastwoods face was great. I’m sure he thought he was the hands down favorite! Finally Scorcese won, which I hope will be repeated at the Oscars.
Kudos to Jennifer and Eddie

Dreamgirls is now in 1,900+ theatres.
I loved both Beyone’s and Jennifer’s dresses. Jennifer although a newbie has always had good fashion sense, even when she was on American Idol.
Can’t wait until the Oscar nominations come out!
America and Jennifer are such an inspiration! I hope they both have longgggg careers!
The Dreamgirls cast all looked amazing. Congrats to all of them.
The only fashion blunder @ the golden globes as far as I can see was Cameron Diaz. If she was trying to impress Justin…it didn’t work hah.
Jennifer Hudson won Best Supporting Actress, not Best Actress, although I think she should’ve been nominated in the Best Actress category!

Beatrice Straight won for Best Supporting Actress, in one of the shortest-screen-time performances ever to win an Oscar in the Acclaimed NETWORK (1978). Five minutes of screen time.
That said, Golden Globes are a predictor of what will happen at Oscars especially in the best pic category.
Babel will probably win best pic. The Departed and The Queen will cancel each other out. And Babel has the Universal appeal and message that Oscars like to convey.
Also, your everyday people, if you watch the trends of Oscar from its inception and read articles from well respected critics and mags like Variety CAN predict how the Academy will vote.
Anyone who has won his/her office Oscar pools will tell you this. I have friends who win all the time because their predictions are so dead on.
Beset Supporting actor is between Nicholson, Pitt and Murphy. I think Dreamgirls will sweep other categories so Best Supporting actor will be reserved for someone else.
BEYONCE LOOKED GOOD! BEYONCE SHOULD HAVE GOT A AWARD BECAUSE SHE REALLY STEPED HER GAME UP ON ACTING. SO, ALL YOU HATERS IT IS VERY EASY TO STOP HATEING! (JOHN CHICAGO, IL)
