Can we get the e-mail of the contact people to these magazines? Please post and let us collectively present our concerns. We also need to know what these editors do with the money they make for all these false news. What have they contributed to New Orleans etc. If they want to criticise someone else for doing good, we’ll like to turn the heat on them.

Of course all are free to do what they want, but isn’t this getting to be a little over the top? This isn’t about life are death issues, or some human rights violation happening here. Excuse my presumptions, but I really think even Jolie-Pitt would think the time could be better used. These are tabloids doing what tabliods do and it’s part and parcel when you’re a celeb. JMHO

BABEL still has “legs”, just like “the good shepherd”. All you have to do is look at the gross from week to week. It does slope down. But all movies do. The most important thing is to look at how steep the slope is and is it falling off the cliff.

In BABEL and “the good shepherd”, it is very STABLE. So it does have legs. remember the tortoise race, slowly but steadily to the destination.

Also BABEL hasnt opened in Japan. Japan is a BIG market.

I think Perez’ site has a little parody of the britbrit preggers thing - it looks like an ad with a fake pregnant Britney asking “Is it, like, yours? If you’ve partied with Britney recently and you think it might be yours…” something to that effect. Very clever - almost as good as Lilo’s “Adequite” water ad. Of course, there’s been an official statement from her camp denying the rumor.

Back to the previous topic - I don’t mean to ‘panic’ about a supposed ‘backlash’ - I’m just the sensitive type who gets her back up whenever someone speaks unfairly about my gal. No matter what she does, it’s going to be interpreted one way or the other, depending on how you feel about her.

I really hope people are not falling for this doom and gloom ****.I watched ET,Extra and Access Hollywood IT WAS ALL GOOD!I refuse to watch E so I have no idea what they said nor do I care.PH,FF and Dlisted is not main stream America,they do not speak for the masses.I saw nothing negative on the news.B&A helped the GG have the highest ratings in 3 years,believe me who ever is doing the Oscar planning is watering at the mouth as we speak.

I really agree with ya. I admit it still gets me riled up when the negative BS comes in waves and bucketfuls, but I just keep reminding myself that most of America does not blog or read tabloids and the negative crapola is the minority. The majority of the mean comments about Angie went right under the radar, IMO. I think alot of America is surprised some people are still talking about a 2 year-old Hollywood divorce like it is even remotely relevant. There were no negative letters posted in People mag following the family Cambodia pics, and I think of all the celeb vehicles out there, that one is probably the only one the masses take seriously….. and not even everyone reads People.

We, as the uber-fans we are, see more negative shine-ola thrown at them because we are on these blogs and such. Most regular Americans don’t pay a whole lot of attention to tabs and gossip shows, they see it for what it is (bubblegum for the mind)…..but put Angie and Brad on network TV, and obviously people pay attention. They want to see them. I think the image that Angie and Brad conveyed the other night was very postive overall. Love is contagious.

what i’m not understanding is the panic over “backlash”. angie and brad both have been getting constant and consistent sh*t for the last two years. what’s changed? nobody is saying anything we haven’t heard before, over and over again wrapped in different packages of disdain. the only difference i see is that now there are more people publicly defending them while their detractors continue to hold on to the juvenile notion of Team Aniston and Team Jolie.

i developed a thick skin. i laugh at the negative **** because i’ve seen it recycled so much in varying degrees of inanity. it doesn’t ruin my day. most of it is just shallow nitpicking and any major damage is eventually retracted. it’s not a big deal. the jolie-pitts are happily living their lives their way and all this slander is nothing but a nuisance.

BABEL has NOT opened in japan. for the good shepherd, my experience is to watch those dates on the screen carefully, because the story goes back and forth. also the date give you some idea of what happened in that period of time and that will help you understand better. but this is my experience
