A source close to the production of Sin City 2 is claiming that Angelina Jolie is out of the running and Rachel Weisz is in. Director Robert Rodriguez has always wanted Angelina to star in his sequel Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For but because of scheduling conflicts, it looks like Rachel might be taking on the role of Ava Lord. Rachel Weisz: A Dame To Kill For? Hmmmm…

LMAO!!!! PT, this is so funny and I bow to you for torturing yourself just to bring us the joy of laughing at the comedy of it all. Below are my fav’s, but let me say first that I have one and only one question, and it’s directed to those who love to claim that all the tales must be true if it shines a light on all that evil called Angelina
Who the hell is this source who’s everywhere, hanging with everyone no matter where they are, hearing every word, eyewitness to every scene, and reporting it all back to each of the 99 tabloids that also utilize this elusive shadow “who knows the cousin of the uncle of the plumber of the ex wife of the guy at the carwash who bangs a girl who used to sell girl scout cookies back in the day to a friend of the people who once in the basement in the house down the lane from the person who’s not really a friend of anyone directly linked to Maude & Harold Pitt of Glen Grove Idaho.”
Does no one find it interesting that there is never EVER a named…………..legit………… source? So Russell Crowe ’s hot-headed ways have him in trouble again - just when we thought he was an all-settled-down family man. It was only days ago that he was arrested, accused of losing his temper with a New York hotel employee who failed to connect the actor’s call to his family in Australia. As a result, Crowe reportedly threw a phone at the employee, hitting him in the face.
Of course, this is just the latest brouhaha in Russ world. In 2002, he made headlines for shoving BAFTA producer, Malcolm Gerrie, against a wall for editing his acceptance speech. Crowe told the man he’d make sure he never worked in Hollywood again.
On the set, he’s notorious for perfectionist ways, but it’s more than that. While shooting “Cinderella Man,” he reportedly blocked people out of his dressing room with black curtains, forbade crew to use his gym, and gave no warning when he chose not to turn up on set.
Clearly, Crowe didn’t get enough hugs growing up. After all, who hasn’t this man fought? Even at the pinnacle, when he was backstage after winning his 2000 Oscar for “Gladiator,” the impossibly prickly actor was so smug and curt answering questions, he caused Maximus irritation. The sound of one frustrated reporter declaring “What an a—–e!” could be heard across the press room.
Crowe is by no means alone. In fact, he’s following a time-honored show business tradition of a—–es. Take a temperamental and/or narcissistic personality, mix with multiple yes-people on call to do one’s bidding - after all, no price is too high and there’s no demand that can’t be met when you’re a celebrity — and you have a recipe for bad conduct that causes misery for all in the vicinity. Whether it’s diva demands or difficult behavior, check out some of the latest of those causing riffs in the waters of Hollywood.
“He used to be such a sweet guy,” or words to that effect, are often heard about the ego ridden R&B star Usher — who upset other celebrity guests this past year at GQ’s Men of the Year Awards in Los Angeles by banning them from the red carpet. He reportedly “insisted everyone and their mother clear the red carpet or he would refuse to walk it” according to a source on scene. Organizers were so eager to please the heart-throb that other stars who arrived at the same time had to enter through the back door.
No one gets their way more than diva Jennifer Lopez , who famously used to insist that everything in her dressing room be white - the couches, the carpet, the candles, the flowers, you name it. Her new hubby Marc Anthony seems to share in her desire for the good things even if it means inconveniencing others. Reports have it that he recently ordered a Hummer and had it souped up but demanded to have it delivered to him that same day. The only problem is that the car was cross country so two guys had to drive the entire route in one day.
What a diva needs, a diva needs. Last year, amid legal action over the “Basic Instinct” sequel that fell apart - but later came back together again and went into production — Sharon Stone’s needs list for doing the movie came to light and was put on line by The Smoking Gun. The perks demanded were numerous enough to take up five pages, and included three nannies, two assistants, first class travel (if a private jet was unavailable), presidential suite, chef, deluxe motor home with all the amenities including VCR and cellular fax machine. She would need Pilates equipment, a chauffeured car plus a convertible sedan for herself. She would keep all wardrobe and jewelry worn in the flick that wasn’t rented. And, of course, a $3,500 per week per diem for bodyguards.
The legal document lent credence to reports that she’d made similar demands on other movies. Reports of diva-like behavior wafted from the “Catwoman” set, for example, with Sharon reportedly wanting more glamorous costumes, insisting on last-minute script changes and walking off set to make a phone call in the middle of a shot. She did get along well with fellow diva Halle Berry . In fact, Stone was widely reported as saying, “Halle’s so beautiful, and I wanted to kiss her. I said, ‘How can you have us in the movie and not have us kiss? It’s such a waste.’ But that’s what you get for having George Bush as president.”
Right. This from the woman who once claimed she’d cured herself of cancer by quitting drinking coffee. Stone has said that her brush with death due to a brain aneurysm in 2001 changed her life: “When my brain exploded, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have such a better life now. I’m at the point in my life where if you don’t want my peaches, don’t shake my tree. I’m into Happy Town, and if you don’t want to live in Happy Town, move, hit the friggin’ bricks, baby.” But leave those clothes and jewels.
Don’t think it’s just movie and music stars causing big problems. Former “NYPD Blue” star David Caruso wasn’t given the boot from that show, but rather let his ego get the best of him. After finishing an extremely successful first season, he left the show on his own, predicting that “‘NYPD Blue’ will not be successful when I leave.” Good thing he’s not a psychic! More recently Dennis Franz revealed that the friction between himself and Caruso had reached the point in 1994 that he would have quit the show if Caruso hadn’t done so first. Reports state that Caruso’s behavior is no better on the set of “CSI: Miami.”
If they aren’t being difficult on set, though, then they’re certainly acting a fool off set.
Various reports suggest that “American Idol’s” popular Clay Aiken has let fame go to his head. Earlier in the year he upset a group of high school students who performed with him in a concert in New Jersey. According to school officials, during rehearsals, he “sicced security goons on a student who snapped a photo during rehearsal” and his “people made a big show of handing over a promised $500 donation to the Vocal Ensemble and ? the envelope was empty.”
Even comedian Ben Stiller has claimed that he can be difficult due to Hollywood’s grand expectations, but at least he owns up to it. He explained, “Normally, people tend to shut off their ambitions and competitive thinking because it doesn’t help them much in normal life. But in the movie business you’ve constantly got to prove yourself. So I can be a real a—–e on the set sometimes.” And this time he’s not joking. It’s been said on movie sets he demanded to be called by an alias and once went into a fit when he only got one copy of The New York Times

BP is a self made man and has become a powerful player in Hollywood. It is all this comparison bullcr*ap of who walked the red carpet better, BP with X or BP and AJ. It is too high schoolish and shows that E News and US Magazine are small potatoes that have to make up petty rivalries. If you have to makeup a headline on “BP eats lunch at X’s favorite restaurant, How does Poor X feel”, then you know you have scraped the bottom. Whenever BP and AJ want to set a record straight they go to People Magazine. All other BS they ignore.

Of course, this is just a rhetorical question. Celebrities are not better than us, they just seem to be or have the money to look as if they were. This is my opinion, but that doesn’t mean that I hold it for an absolute truth, because I could be proven wrong any time of day.
Anyway, as I was surfing on the Internet today, I found something that really shocked the senses out of me: Mariah Carey has a personal assistant who only gets paid to make sure that her employer’s skirt doesn’t touch the floor. In other words, she (the assistant, not Mariah) is just like those little girls that get to carry the bride’s trail in church, the only difference being that she gets paid a lot of money for it.
Seeing this, it immediately struck me that some of the stars of today impose many demands, that have to be met for them to appear at some event, or even for their own concerts (if they are singers), so absurd that one could easily think they are some sort of deities placed on earth for the sole purpose of being worshiped. By us, naturally.
It’s only normal for stars, after they made millions and millions of dollars, to do their best to increase their standards of living and to ask for extravagant things to be supplied to them. But from that to hiring a person to carry the trail of your dress or another one to spray you with a custom made spraying tan made of 24-karat gold dust, like in Mariah’s case, is a rather long stretch.
Just to set the record straight, I’m not saying that she doesn’t deserve to have the best things that money can buy. It’s just that, once the diva demands appear, a certain attitude towards the ‘mortals’ also surfaces. Miss Carey, for instance, is known for her uptight behavior not only towards her employees, but also towards her fans and the people she collaborates with. Just as an example, if she does a show or an interview, the people in the audience are not allowed to address her if they are not spoken to first.
What, is she made of glass and afraid that she might break if someone says something to her? I just don’t get her: no matter how talented she is or how good her vocal skills are, nothing could possibly justify such things. The only thing that misses in this equation is for the ‘diva’ to ask people not to look at her when she enters a room, in case they might rub off her, I don’t know, glamor or spirit or whatever.
And speaking of which, they say that Jennifer Lopez does that. At one point in her career, a couple of years ago, when there was this genuine JLo frenzy, the Latino singer got so conceited and so full of herself that, each time she entered a room, people were supposed to lower their eyes and not look directly or stare (Heaven forbid!) at her.
Just like Mariah, Jen doesn’t want to be spoken to unless she poses a question to somebody or wants to start a conversation. Plus, the diva can’t breathe the same air as us and for that she has a personal assistant who - a couple of minutes before her ‘grand’ entrance - has to spray a special fragrance in the room. Rumor has it that the fragrance is gardenia (and not something else!) because, apparently, other smells ‘offend’ Jennifer. Jeez, let’s hope she doesn’t choke on it!
And don’t think that diva demands are restricted only to divas per se. Famous men also ask for impossible or absurd things, like Leonardo DiCaprio who - when he is on the set of a movie - throws each outfit after a scene and demands to be brought a new one. But the king (or, should I say queen?) of diva demands is incontestably Michael Jackson . The ‘Thriller’ star is rumored to be one of the most difficult persons to work with, not only because he is very sensitive about his image and face (anyone wonder why?) but also because his demands are so strict and extravagant that people have to face really huge challenges to comply with them.
First of all, Michael Jackson is not to be touched (or spoken to, of course) and, if he agrees to come out of his hiding to do a concert or something, the cost to ‘maintain’ him is higher than the profit you could make. Let’s take as an example his (terrible) performance at the World Music Awards that took place this year, in London. His stay at the posh hotel where he checked in cost the organizers no less than £75,000 for two nights, as his children and his posse had all to be accommodated on two entire floors.
Plus, it is a known fact that Jacko rarely travels unaccompanied by at least 20 persons, which includes bodyguards, make-up artists, carriers for his luggage, stylists and doctors, so these too have to be taken care for. And come to think that people said he sold Neverland because he was broke. Lie! You can’t pay for so much luxury with smiles, that’s for sure.

I think People Mag story was sourced from MJP’s Pres Stephan Bognar and not from Angie or her assistant. You see its strange that when they stated that Jolie was not there for another adoption, and they did not add their standard” as confirmed by Jolie’s Or Pitt’s reps.” So it means that they may know some facts about the meeting from Stephan but I dont think they have confirmation at all that Angie was also there for other purpose. I dont think PEOPLE was privy to what other activities Angie did in Vietnam and Im sure Stephan did not tell them anything about personal acitivities of the actress.
There is talk that Rosie O is very rich too, especially more than the bottom half of the ten listed. I agree, this was a popularity contest with a little fed info to make the list.;)

He gave Angelina Jolie support, in the form of a helping hand - on several occasions, actually - at the awards event.
The pair were holding hands when they walked on to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton, but then Brad’s hand kept slipping into - for want of a better expression - the default position.
The actor was nominated for his role in the powerful picture Babel, the movie that won the big prize for best film (drama). The exhilarating movie Dreamgirls won the best film (musical or comedy) award.
Later, when the show was over, Brad and Angelina chatted to Cate Blanchett, who played Brad’s wife in Babel. Once the Hilton’s ballroom had emptied, the couple walked slowly to the exit and Brad’s hands strayed into derriere mode again.
I would like to be able to say that I averted my gaze but, to be honest, I couldn’t.
It was strangely touching to observe that this much gossiped-about couple seemed so contented.
And at least Brad’s hands were warm when they walked out into the cold night air to make their way to Paramount Pictures’ after party a block away.

BTW, I forgot to tell you this story while we were traveling to visit my son very recently. One of the roads we must take goes thru the OCALA NAT. FOREST.
THis road has 4 passing lanes and everytime the sign appears my husband would say here comes-” Passing Through.”but of course it says PASSING LANES. The first time he saw the sign he looked at me “Isn’t that the name of one of the posters at JJ.” . He reads JJ ’s blog site and you make him laugh everytime. Psst. He used to pity the X. I saw the movie the Mexican last night for the first time, ( ughhhh stay up until 1:30 a.m for it) …it was not a good movie, no chemistry between JR and BP, the story lines were choppy, eventhough the acting were above average, the movie was not. So glad it was free on TV. May be it’s a sign, someone gave me this movie as a present 2 years ago and I have never open to watch it…..may be I can give it to someone else?….muahhhahahahahahahaha…..
I don’t know ladies, once you are acting with the best of the best? can you go back to the American sweetheart type of actress? uh uh no… I’m talking about JR, RZ and what her name in the movie speed?, not you know who( in my book she was never was/is the American sweetheart) and RW. I like these actresses fair enough, but never go to the movie just to see them. I mean, I don’t go gaga gugu over a JR’s movie, unless she’s with a brilliant ensemble cast or with an actor that I like…but I would go see AJ’s movie, her name alone, I would gladly shell out $12.50 to see her.

Well, it looks like Angie had business to take care of in Vietnam, and not adoption business. As 1346/fan said above, while some folks were griping about her so called ‘coolness’ at the GG’s, she has moved on to doing what she loves to do, helping the needy and working towards alleviating their situations. Makes you realize what small minds, and small worlds, people like that Seacrest b*tch lives in, throwing a hissy fit about how she answered his stupid questions, when there are bigger challenges out there in the world that do not get focused on because we tend to focus instead on these major issues, like ‘why Angie did not want to answer my profound questions about who made breakfast.’

WOW. Let me get this straight — in a nutshell, she was meeting with a World Bank and privately funded econ development arm that operates for the whole of Southeast Asia that could maybe chip in and be responsible for the re-development of impoverished areas of Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s country and other surrounding countries? OKAY, IT’S OFFICIAL: She astounds me everyday. As does Brad for loving her completely, encouraging who she is and actually helping her to flourish as a stateswoman, partner and mom.
These two keep their eyes on the prize and it’s not an Oscar, or a GG (which don’t get me wrong, they are still very flattered to receive), but they are just operating on a whole ‘nother level as human beings now. Their focus, ‘The prize,’ becomes what they will leave the world like for their children.
See this kind of 24/7 celebrity garbage press that accomplishes nothing except being salacious (see Britney’s bald cooch!!) and/or tearing people down for no reason (Peecrust: Don’t support your man then, fine! Fly off to a third world country then, fine!) has become increasingly not only undeserving of Brad & Angelina, but ALL OF US. But when it goes after these two, they just play themselves for the catty backstabbing b*tches they are.
I loved the Penelope Cruz bit where she firmly lets Peecrust know he’s ’stepped over a line,’ asking about Orlando Bloom romance rumors….and yet - oddly enough Peecrust is not saying she was ‘cold and aloof,’ there’s no outrage that Cruz made him look the fool - which she really did.
But it’s these vengeful little sneak attacks on Brad & Angelina. You’d think at some point as a celebrity press person, if you somehow knew of B&A’s itinerary…and where they would be post GG….you would at the very LEAST, try to find SOME humanity, and say to yourself - ‘My GOD. They are here looking perfect and beautiful and being so gracious while tomorrow Angelina will fly to a standing appointment in VN to develop her son’s country and World Bank might fund the whole of it! She didn’t have Huvane on her side to trumpet her wealth and perhaps when you have much you don’t flaunt it. Well for some reasons, it seem right.
I have been “lurking” for months, and feel the urge today to post. BAMZS fans are the best because we all want our favorite family to keep thriving and keep doing good.
I am a huge fan of the BAMZS. I worship Angelina and Brad because of their humanitarian work. We need to pray for them, whatever our religions and our faiths so that they can keep doing good deeds all around the world for many more years, save millions of lives and change the world for the better. These great souls are teaching us what our common humanity is, that we belong to the same specie whatever our race, nationality etc.. and if we could just all see the world through their eyes, this planet would be the best place to live in for everybody. We are better people when we use the extra money or extra material things we have to help the less fortunate, whereever they live. If I live in opulence in a mansion in L.A. and another human being is suffering in Darfur, I should feel some concern and try to help him out. These two great people have inspired me to launch, with some friends, a nonprofit organization for community development and work hard to study public health, an area that needs a lot of improvement in Africa, from where I am. Everyday that I wake up, before I check news online or here, my wish is “I hope Brad and Angelina have done one more thing today to improve people’s lives” and they never fail. I am delighted by Angelina’s latest step through her meeting in vietnam to improve many more lives.
I will post rarely but will read regularly. GOD BLESS ALL THOSE WHO DO SOMETHING TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.
Oh I almost forget. Amaya….love chapter 7….I don’t know how you do it….with a mind like yours, are you sure you don’t want to run for president?…hahahaha…I mean, the white house needs a little kick and spunk once in a while. Thank you my dear.

My theory is that award shows hold some unsettling memories for Angelina.
At the ‘98 Globes, she won for her role in “George Wallace” and posed for photos with her dad Jon Voight - whom she no longer speaks to - at the Miramax post party. At the ‘99 Globes she won an award for “Gia” then jumped into the pool wearing her beaded gown, making scandalous headlines.
At the 2000 Globes she won for “Girl Interrupted” and celebrated with her date, brother James Haven. At the 2000 Academy Awards, Angie shocked the audience by kissing James hard on the lips when she won for “Girl” and said “I love You!” to him from onstage. Oh, the press had a field day with that one.
She also attended the 2002 Globes with husband Billy Bob Thornton, even making out with him on the carpet. She was big into red carpet PDA’s back then. But their relationship fizzled shortly after she brought home an adopted Cambodian baby boy. Personally I think she was mortified at the memory of those black penciled brows.
And she definitely doesn’t like attending frivolous events that don’t help the poor, hungry and suffering in the world. And let’s face it, those unfortunate people are probably not watching the Globes.
Maybe she’ll change her mind about awards shows if Brad gets an Oscar nomination on January 23.

They talk about Angelina past awards show appearances but totally forget the last awards show she was at as a PRESENTER. It was the Academy Awards on 2004 where where Angelina wore that amazing white silk halter gown. On stage she was luminous. That was almost three years ago, a while ago, but the press go back to ancient times as if to prove some sort of point.
I don’t think the kissing with BBT was at an awards show. Correct me if I’m mistaken. I think it was at some premiere as was the “vials” of blood they BOTH had around their neck. It wasn’t at an awards show. Also, when Angelina jumped into the pool, that footage, until the other day hadn’t really been shown. Angelina mentioned that she would do it but since there were no photos that I can recall, how was it scandalous? It’s very 1930’s if you ask me, when the fashion for young people at formal functions was to jump in pools with their formals. OK, I still have visions of “It a Wonderful Life” in my head LOL!!!!!
Here are various pictures of hot mama Angelina at the 2004 Academy Awards red carpet. Elegant just like the GG’s. The dress is by Marc Bouwer and presented the award for Best Art Direction. She was on everyone’s Best Dressed list that year as well. Save these pics for the haters that like to bring up the past but skip over the recent past. It would be great if the Academy asked Angelina to present again this year.

Thanks Amandine, that was a great post, that’s why we love them too. They are human, they commit mistakes, but they try to improve life of the poor everywhere in the world.
