Open your eyes people. You dont know these people and they dont give a **** about anything except for getting you to pay to watch them pretend to be something better than they really are. I know Oprah is #1 richest woman…Did you see the CNN news today..There was this woman there talking about Oprah extravagant gift of building that school for 152 kids…
She is a retired school teacher who gives of her money and raises money to build schools in Mali… She said although the building of a school is a nice gesture on oprahs part..the extravagance of it is wasteful. She went on to explain that she could have built 16000 schools for that price for a larger amount of children…

I think that Oprahs gift was sort like a slap in the face to those that build basic school so that all kids could attend…thats the purpose for building the schools inthe first place. Its like Oprah saying hey look at my elegant regal school is far better than yours. I took a year to build it. menawhile how many children lost out on school b/c of it?

Also have you heard of Kevin Bacon’s new idea. Six degrees.. he is planning to put up a website called six degrees that will connect you to your favorite stars charities…

If you must know how I fell upon this site here it is, I am researching. I have recently become invloved in an proposal being brought to our airway controllers by concerned parents whose children cannot turn on the television without hearing foul language, seeing extreme violence, and graphic sexual scenes. Not to mention the foul messages they see while standing in line at the grocery store. Well yes it is a parents responsibility to control what our children watch, a lot of us are wondering why there is nothing on TV that caters to us who refuse to watch the smut our society calls entertainment. Of course this is aside from certain shows on the discovery channel and animal planet. Trust me , by no means would I ever come to this site for any other reason then research. My world is bigger then fashion and affairs. By the way Rubbers (nice name) do you have children? Do you think it is okay for celebrities such as brittany who say an 11 year old girl looks up too, being plastered all over the supermarket tabloids drunk out of her mind with her bare bottom showing. Do you want your kids to grow up in that kind of world? Have you ever asked yourself why is it now that we have such an increased rate of childhood prenancies and school shootings. Would you want your daughter to be the next Angelina, Britanny, or how about lindsey who all have severe emotional and even drug and alcohol abuse problems or maybe you would like your son to be someone like hmm, lets say Charlie Sheen (an abusive addict) Think real hard about all of this. I will leave your post now and never return so you will never have to worry about hearing from me again and I will never have to worry about defending myself over such a pointless bunch of people, who people like you have decided to make icons! Please really consider seeing the point I have made though - Open your mind a little.

It is amazing how hypocritic these Jen fans are. If you read all the posts, they are saying Jen made her money from friends and movies. How can they ignore Plan B?

Well, after someone pointed out the significance of Plan B for the bulk of Jen’s wealth (post #223), then we started seeing all these Jen fans spinning on this (see post #253 and on).

It’s so simple math. It doesnt take a person with high IQ to figure out. Both Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox were in friends, got the SAME pay , 1M per episode in the last season. Why werent they on the list?

Scroll up and look at the list. Aniston is #10 with a networth of 110M. The last one on the list is #20 Renee Zellweger with 45M.

Think for a second, this means Courtney and Lisa Kudrow dont even have 45M otherwise they will be on the list.

45M and 110M is a big difference. Jen got twice or may be 3 or 4 times more than Lisa and Courtney. You go figure !!!

Another piece of info, both Courtney and Lisa do movies similar to Jen. What Courtney and Lisa lack is PLAN B.

Now is it reasonable to conclude that Jen got the bulk of her wealth through the divorce settlement from Plan B?? That Brad was kind enough to include her. That Brad had to pay her off .

to #276 — didn’t both Sandra Bullock and Celine Dion steal their husbands from some less famous women.

The observed difference in kids vs. no kids of the Forbes’ wealth rankings may be due to the “trust funds” people set for their children. I have seen less wealthy families doing as such. Their assets may be diversified within trust funds and their own holdings which, as expected, would reflect to the level of current asset holdings.

To the extent that this explanation is correct, it should also answer the crass demeanour style of post #287.

That’s because she COULDN’T. There was no other woman involved, Brad said that himself in his interview with Diane Sawyer, the same way he said that the divorce was not about Jennifer’s not wanting any children.

How has it become your business how anyone makes or not make her money!!!! Why don’t you all go back and see where you’ve made or not made your own money.

Besides, if, say, Jan made her money from Pitt, why do you think it’s your business to talk about it. Isn’t it for Pitt himself to claim? What is your relationship with Pitt?

Why do Jen supporters keep complaining about Angelina “stealing” Brad from Jen?? If that man was happy and “satisfied” in his marriage, he would’nt be looking for that in other women. A man definitely has his “needs” and if he’s not getting any form his married partner he goes to someone else. Time and time again men have done this. History has scores of men who did the same. What Brad did has been done like a million times before by other men. So, you women who think Jen was mother theresa should really get your facts straight and get a life.

We are NOT arguing whether Jen is right or Jen is wrong regarding her relationship with her mother.

We are NOT asking her to reconcile with her mother. We are NOT asking her to talk or to see her mother.

But if her mother in her old age is in indignant care, should she pick up her living expense???

Remember her mother carried Jen in her stomach for 9 mothes and gave her life

Regardless of what happened while Jen was growing up, should she at least just let the grudge fall and cut a check? This is pocket change considering her enormous wealth.

Any decent human being will do that (write a check)

Another thing, dont bring Jolie into this. This is Not about Jolie and her father. Jolie’s father is not in financial trouble. When you compare Jolie with Jen, you immediately lost creditbility.

FRom the other thread: Anyone see American Idol? All those nuts who get up there and think they can sing and they are sincere - they have no clue as too how bad they are - then they get angry and cry when they are told no. Have to admit the Idol team does say some pretty nasty things to them - they pick out the worse ones to be on the show then go at them for fun - despicable. Well lots of regulars on this site - like Cliniqua have the same mentallity as these idol wanabees - they are so out of touch with reality if it wasn’t so scarely sad it would be amusing. I wouldn’t want to bump into any of them in a dark alley.

These kinda posts tick me off. I did’nt want to say this, but as an outsider, i’ve noted that a lot of American women are very snubbish, like the poster i quoted above. Very few humble women i’ve come across here in this country. Why is that? Kinda very discouraging to the feminine race. I agree you American women dont think you are lesser than your male counterparts. But remember, nature created us to be more humble and gentle. Physiologically, we are somewhat at disadvantage compared to males. Iam not saying women need to be meek, but there’s definitely that softer and humbler side to us that we were meant to be mothers. And when i come across such arrogant posts it disses me off.
