Forbes Magazine just tabulated “The 20 Richest Women In Entertainment” and there are some surprises in there! The youngest women on the list? The 22-year-old Olsen Twins. But to make the list at all, you need a minimum net worth of $45 million. Cha-ching!

CLINIQUA you are the best writer and I’m sure if I could hear you talk, the most eloquent speaker “in the house”! You hit it right on the money (so to speak) regarding Jennifer Aniston. But I doubt if she really have all that money considering the number of nose jobs she had done. Have you ever seen her “older pre-Friends” pictures? That nose cost her “mucho dinero”.
I came to this site for the title. It’s interesting how Jen had increased her networth for $60M in a matter of one year. I remember watching the richest celebrities around this time of the year in 2006 on E and reading it on the website and magazine. Jen and Angelina were tied at $50M each and Brad was $75M. The list of richest people is published yearly- so check what these people were worth a year ago and to know the annual net gained. Jen & Brad’s divorce was finalized in 2006. Hmmm go figure!

To CPA, I don’t know why you say I am lying. Lying about what? I just said that in the divorce she could have put up a fight for a bigger stake in the business. My aunt’s husband left her for another women. She fought for and won half of his medical practice even though she is not a doctor. I am a lawyer, but I don’t do Family Law. I am a child advocacy lawyer, but even I can tell you she could have made the divorce very contentious. When another woman is involved some women turn the divorce into a war, but Jen didn’t.

1) Let me tell you, in California divorce law, whether there is another woman or another man is IRREVELANT when it comes to divorce in California. Property settlement is based on the terms of company, contract, ownership etc. The spouse having a girlfriend or boyfriend does NOT enter into the equation in awarding spousal support or property settlement.
2) In this case, Jen is a partner in Plan B. Legally she has rights as a partner. She does NOT get more rights whether the husband has a girl friend or not. Get this into your head.
3) You quote your aunt’s divorce case. Let me remind you, your aunt’s divorce is NOT the same as Jen. Circumstances are different. Your aunt may be a stay-at-home mom or a wife who put her husband thru med school. So what your aunt is entitled to is different from what is Jen is entitled to. Also, I dont know if your aunt also resides in California. Aniston’s circumstances are completely different.
Therefore DONT apply your aunt’s divorce case to Aniston. They are totally different animal!!!
3) You said, Jen could have put up a figtht for a bigger stake, but she didnt. How do you know Jen did NOT turn the divorce into an ugly battle. Do you have privy info on that???
You are not a divorce lawyer nor a CPA nor any of the lawyer’s or the accountant’s assistant who sat across the table to know what went on. This is why I said you lied.
If you read the trade paper, Variety, Brad made a comment about Plan B, “….bittle divorce….” . I can only say the negotiation had to be intense.
I am a CPA. I sat in many of these negotiations with owners and lawyers. Therefore, I know what the atmosphere is like.
Remember, if your Jen is so CHEAP on charity, do you think she will give up the company for free?
Use common sense, she hired experts, namely lawyer and accountants.
I honestly do not think that Jen was that heartbroken over losing Brad, Why does everyone insist she was. I think she got bored with him. He seems very boring to me. In an interview David Arquette says that they have never even seen Jen cry over all of this. They mutually decided to divorce.
Also Brad is not that hot. David Beckham is hot, Joshua Duhmal is hot. Brad is Old!
I also dont think Angelina and him will last . If Brad Pitt is too boring for Jen then he is definately too boring for Angelina! Angelina probably will request spousal support because her career is pretty much over. Will anyone be screaming about it being his money when Angelina has it?

Jennifer Aniston may have made her money and also invested wisely. We are not privy to what financial plans she has made. Also it her choice to remain childless. None of us should be the judges. I am a mother and I can tell you it is hard work and takes a lot of dedication and hard work on the parents part. We have to respect other peoples CHOICES.

1) You claimed Jen invested wisely. So are Courtney and Lisa Kudrow. They all invested. The reason why Jen made the list and not Courtney is because Brad was kind enough to let Jen in on Plan B.
2) We are not jealous of Jen. Again, I repeat, we are NOT jealous of Jen. We merely analyse and comment on how she got her wealth. Please read post #286 who analysed her money.
3) As to Jen being childless. Again, we have no problem on her decision. What we are saying is she lied to the media abouta baby is on the way, when she has NO INTENTION of opening her womb. Why, because we caught her smoking. It’s her lying we are complaining about and NOT her decision of going childless.

The success of any business venture is due to management, and direction of CEO etc.

As to all charitable contribution are tax deductible, yes, that’s true. Ask any CPA, the highest combined tax bracket for both Federal and California is 45 %. This means you only save $45 for every $100 you donate. It is NOT a 100 % total savings. You still have to come up with the money.
Deduction applies to everyone including Jen, that is if your idol Jen ever donates. But your Jen is CHEAP , in relation to her wealth. You are unhappy because we exposed her !!!!

You obviously have a problem with someone who speaks their mind up in an aggressive manner…maybe it’s not your style and that’s okay, but Cliniqua is definitely one of the regular posters who is in touch with reality if anything. She’s factual, logical and organized, sometimes frustrated which is easy to become on a public blog…the direct approach for some may be “scarely sad” (your terminilogy) and you don’t need to read her posts if you find her style of writing “scarely sad” or offensive, but for many she is assertive and not “scarely sad” but highly amusing, informative and brave enough to post what is on her mind, some people find that an attribute as opposed to silently fuming and passive aggressive behavior. People who tend to be “scarely” about what is said by others should not get even close to a dark alley…and BTW the individuals who are the most vocal are not the ones you have to be “scarely” of in a dark alley…it’s the quiet ones.
