i did wonder about that . . . well, i wondered why the blame always fell on angelina. in most instances, it seems that the knee-jerk reaction is to blame the so-called other woman. and had it been the woman cheating on her husband, that woman would’ve been called a *****. double-standards against women have never really died, and here in america, well, i hate to admit it, but puritanical thinking pervades. i have a thing or two to say about the current u.s. administration, but that’ll just open a slew of tense arguments. maybe angelina has been lambasted more than brad because people won’t forget and/or forgive her past, whereas brad has always been thought of by many as more of a leading man and a clean-cut, straight edge kind of guy. also, the spotlight is more on angelina now because many of her interviews came out/have been published at the same time just recently. so, people are dissecting her words . . . well, highlighting parts of her interview out of context. some are foolish enough to not read the whole interview (coz of short attention span perhaps??), and instead, blow the seemingly more controversial excerpts out of proportion and give it a negative color. if you were running an entertainment news show or a major publication trying to increase your circulation, you would want to create publicity of your own at the expense of some professional, ethical standards. with the media, it’s all about garnering attention, increasing the ratings/profits, and staying ahead of the competition.
even if there is a backlash on angelina now, i think it’s really temporary. as i said, her past behaviors raised more eyebrows than they do now. even if she is being given bad press now, it’s still a form of attention. it’s still publicity that she’s being given, whether she asked for it or not.
i’ve never really paid attention to that whole triangle between her, brad, and jennifer. besides, that whole incident is water under the bridge. it would seem that so much has been speculated from their personal lives. we should just commend them all now for moving on and doing things that they think would better their lives and bring them happiness.

I wish people will just let them be,enjoy life and love their children.they should lay low .

I don’t feel sorry for her at all. This is the life she chose…she should know what comes with the territory. She should also not comment on the business of others, such as she did about Madonna. She should have just said “no comment”. And homewreckers get no pass. She is such a poser and a hypocrite….saying she hates “cheaters”, yet we all know she took up with Brad while he was married! They both made the bed they are lying in right now. Let them deal with it ;)

First, let me say, I am not anybody’s fan. I go to see a movie if the movie is good. Yes, I see BABEL. It’s excellent. It’s a thought-provoking film.

Since so many things were said about these people, Brad, Angie and Jen, I have to say I saw Jen’s movies. Unfortunately Jen CANT act. She seems somehow “constipated” when performing her comedic role. As to her dramatic movies, she just does NOT have the commanding presence. In silver screen, you need to have the commanding presence. The public saw that. May be that’s why all Jen’s movies have dismal gross sales.

Angie and Brad are very talented. They can have “range” in acting. I am impressed that Brad played “against type” in BABEL. He executed beautifully.

Many of my friends, personally and professionally have said they will see movies if either Brad or Angie are in it. As for Jen, the answer is lukewarm to the point of saying no. Well I am sorry to report. Dont get this idea that I hate Jen, cos I’m not.

Speaking of seeing so many different blogs about Jen’s not starting a family and her lying, I have to say this. If Jen made all those mistakes, and yes, she did lie to the public, all she has to do is take reposnsibility of all her mistakes. By doing so, she will improve. But by living in denial, she will go on making the same mistakes again. There is nothing wrong making mistakes, just dont repeat that again.

LOL.. I am starting to wonder if JA’s publicist has women on his payroll who spend their days badmouthing anything that has to do with Jolie -Pitt and extolling the virtues of JA.

I would like to point out to JA’s fans that the only reasons the divorce etc was even talked about in the tabloids is because she and her management team decided to to use it to boost her career. If her talent wasn’t enough to get her publicity and an audience to her movies, the use the victim/pity card.

Look at the difference between Eddie Murphy’s wife and Jennifer. Eddie’s transgressions are far more painful than Brad’s, plus there are at least 5-6 kids involved. The other person was a man and not another woman…. etc. Reece Witherspoon … The difference? Class and or class and talent; something that only the feeble minded can deny that Jennifer does not have.

I would also like to remind those individuals, that until she hooked up with Brad; Angie had no publicist.

I do not particularly like Ryan Seacrest… He is often irritatingly trite and redundant. After all Angie is human. If he wanted a response to his questions, perhaps he should have taken the time to think of original questions and not the same questions every reporter has asked her/them for the past year or so. But I guess his ego is so big that he assumed that all the stars would be fawning at the mouth to talk with HIM!. Angie is a strong woman with little tolerance for little/weak men. Sometimes the best way to handle such a person/man is exactly how Angie responded. And physical size of any kind not in consideration her!)

(I am sure Angie must have been nervous.. after all it was the first major Hollywood event that she and Brad went as a couple. Running into those who who are known to be members of the Aniston camp and probably responsible for some of the nastiness about her on the web was uncomfortable… Knowing that everything she said or did would be reported on was probably nerve racking and uncomfortable at best.

The NY Times has reduced itself to a tabloid rag.

Love your post, and I totally agree with you. All the cockroaches (haters), have come out once the Nominees were named…..no surprise. We all anticipated that any publicity that may be perceived as negative toward our famous family, all the flies (haters) will hover around the wound, as they wish it would be, and take bits and pieces of their flesh. Who cares….! Noone can change our minds about this magnificent couple, because we know what they are all about. If the maggots (haters), had any sense at all…..which they never do…..look further into the functinality of this couple they will see what we see. Genuine, humanitarian, and loving individuals. No, no…..that won’t do. They much rather swim in the cesspool of the tabloids, because that is what their (haters) lives are truly about. It’s all about…NOTHING…!

Because he let his PR team to create this huge moster that was the Golden Couple, both of them were part of it and didn’t do **** to stop it. Everyone knew they were having problems but they decided to stay together for another year, and you know why? BECAUSE

Please if you are going to be a good fan of Jennifer’s perhaps you should learn to choose your battles. They stayed together because Jennifer promised to start a family as soon as Friends ended which was after Troy (duh!) But she took on at least 5 movie roles without either discussing or considering her husband and marriage. For your information after MMS and before the divorce announcement, Brad gave Jen the choice… her marriage promises to him or her career…

It was not Angie who turned his head, it was Maddox. Men like women have biological clocks. Men get to a certain age and they want kids, home, dogs, ets. Brad was over 40. He had wanted kids at the start of his marriage to Jen and had put that need and want on hold for her to have her career. Wanting/not wanting kids is a non-negotiable and a deal breaker in any marriage/relationship. If you think it is not then either you are very young or have no romantic history in your past.
