As I said in another thread…..plant a seed…..water it by talking about it, causing it to grow and take root in places we never expected. We here are responsible for breathing life into that NYT article. We gave it CPR!! We are talking to the hand because the face ain’t or hasn’t listened folks!

Why does Brad have to stand up and shout his feelings for Angie. Those are feelings he shares with HER….not us! We are lucky to see more glimpses of it during their recent public appearances together. Personally, I think they have been in love with each other longer than we know….I’m thinking since April/May 2004…..judging by Angie’s confession in Vogue that they were so used to NOT being together for so long….and her comment that a few months in she said “God I can’t wait to get to work in the morning…..

We also have to remember that Brad has not yet given an in-depth one on one interview with any publication or media outlet. You can bet when he does, his words will be picked apart too….Hello!! Remember his comment in Esquire on WHY he and Angie are not getting married??? My guess is he will talk about Angie & their family when Ocean’s Thirteen comes out in June 2007. You just know there will be another sit down interview with the Ocean’s 13 cast, just like they did for the first two movies. I’m hoping that he does “Inside the Actors Studio” at some point too. By then it will have been over two years since his marriage ended, long enough time for folks to move on.

Where is Angelinas PR people. And I agree if Brad is so much in love and wants to be a real man then why does he not speak out and support Angie. He never seems to get asked the hard questions and rarely talks about his love for Angie or his support for her. I know they would prefer to ignore this bad press but isn’t it betterto face it head on? I will always love Angoe for being herself and I have a big ? about Brad.

I truly understand your frustrations and what appears to be your suppressed anger at Brad for what you describe as his failure to publicly verbalize his love and support of Angie.
But please, take it from someone who works in the western media (not in America - lol - but they’re all the same, in terms of the blurring of the lines between “hard news” and entertainment): smart people, like Brad, know that YOU NEVER VOLUNTEER YOURSELF TO BECOME THE SUBJECT OF A MEDIA STORY! Its bad enough when one HAS TO be interviewed (for example, for professional reasons) and, therefore, run the risk of having your intentions misconstrued and your words taken out of context. So given those risks already, a smart person does not VOLUNTARILY subject him/herself to media scrutiny - they’re gonna have their say, anyway, so why give them ammunition against yourself?
You must not forget that Brad’s major in college was journalism and advertising - he knows the biz. Can you imagine what the vultures will do with them both if he comes out and “defends” Angie? Thats when the media will have their field day. I can guarantee you, that all they will choose to see in any defence by Brad of Angie, is a slap in the face of X and all the years they were married and blah blah blah - and its then that you will see the “backlash” against both brad and ange, cos that’s really what the vultures are waiting for. i think that from now on you wont see Angie giving anymore interviews like the one she gave to Vogue, where she talks about their personal life. I think from now on, if she talks to the media at all, it will be on her terms, she will only talk about her UN work and the things she has seen of the world’s suffering people from her travels, etc. She will keep the focus on the plight of the less fortunate and not on her family.

Angelina has been reported by reputable press to be back in NO as of late last week. So. don’t listen to haters and tabloid stuff.

I was just at Bradforums and I did not see the photos of Brad’s Dad there.

How can anyone criticize or put down Angelina Jolie? She gives 1/3 of her income to charities !!! NOT only does Jolie give $$$$ BUT she also spends her time to those in need. I would love to see more celebrities have as much compassion, devotion, and love that Jolie has for children all over the world and those less fortunate than us…
So those who wish to bash her, please go elsewhere and spend your time bashing someone else in this world who is truly evil.
