And, just how long have YOU been blogging here? I’ve seen some of the most ugly thoughts typed out for the world to read - I’m talking wishing miscarriage, birth defects, death to the living children the works. The most we do is have a little fun with JA’s “image”. IF she hadn’t made such an a** of herself in so many magazines, we wouldn’t care one way or the other. That she USED her divorce to promote sh*tty movies earned her much scorn. In the past two years, there has been no growth/change that has been noticed. IF she had taken responsibility for the failure of her marriage (not 100%, but 50%, NOT the 5% she did), stopped the passive/aggressive assaults on her ex, stopped playing pay attention to me games at every turn….yeah well, she didn’t. And thus she EARNED our scorn. Most cr*p I see being brought up about Angie lately is old, old, old. Yeah, she was a cutter, so was my daughter - it’s a terrible thing to have your child do. It hurts the parents as much as the kid (if not more than) - it’s NOT “playing” it is a cry for help.

WE pick on the current JA. YOU are picking on a person who no longer exists. Why won’t you people acknowledge that people grow and change? Why is it such a hard thing to acknowledge? Are people supposed to fit in a box forever? Sad outlook on life. I hope I never stop learning, changing and growning.

I think for all those worried about Angelina’s bad press write a intelligent letter to the press. It may not get published but at least they will know who their customers are and what they want to hear

Matrix should not be selling a picture showing the school, phone number where Maddox is going. That is like inviting a kidnapper and god knows who else to the school.

I was hoping for something groovy on my return and you provided. They look happy and settled, and most important, there seems to be a freedom of movement. Angie’s looking fab and Madd’s looking mischevious.

They’re fine. It’s hard because we see so much of this. But, the gossip blogs/sites are a very small portion, as are the tabloids. And most people don’t give that much power over to either. Most people that read either of them, do it for entertainment. It’s not life or death.

I’ve flip flopped with thinking she needs her own representation vs. not having any.

Just know that what Brad and Angelina deal with is pretty much positive in their daily lives. When they got on the red carpet for the GG’s the response was deafening in the thumbs up way. Not the, you cheater, homewrecker way. Not by a long shot. Listen to how the residence of NOLA talk about them moving there. That’s the thing that these two deal with on a daily basis. Not this internet chatter where most of what you read is meant to make the reader feel bad. They deal with kindness.

Look, Angelina went to Vietnam to do her thing, that’s what their life is about. She’s picking her son up from school. That’s what their life is about. Brad’s parents are visitng and that’s a big reason why they bought a place with a guest house, so his family will be with them in NOLA alot. That is what their life is about.

Angelina and Brad are never going to hand over that kind of power to the media to tell them how they should live their lives and to tell them that they’re not happy or loved or well thought of. Their everyday interaction with the people that matter and others tells them that they’re just fine.

The internet is a nasty place. Hell, look at the predators it creates a easy haven for their sickness. Most people are not what you encounter on the internet.

Like someone mentioned. When there is bad press that gets to you and you feel passionate about it, then write to the person doing it if possible. Like the NYT piece. The thing is when the press in so-called legitimate outlets take it too far, they are called on it. It does make a difference for your voice to be heard.

Gossip/tabloids and said blogs are the minority of what people pay attention to. Not the majority. And anyone claiming different doesn’t spend much time elsewhere. Most people do not care about a celebrities personal life. They like who they like and the rest doesn’t matter.

You think if these rants were on a CNN news blog or a Time’s magazine site that they would be tolerated? No. That’s the difference. Tabloid media isn’t meant to be pretty, it’s mean to be petty. They succeed rather well. It’s their petty world though. Not Brad and Angelina’s, which is what gets missed alot.

Frenchy, it says “bilingual” in French. So I don’t think it’s just a French school. In the first pic he looks so funny. Maddox sure looks like a happy kid.

I’ve thought a lot about Brad and the nomination for BSA. I wonder if it’s because 1. his total screen time was small, and they got heat for someone (Dench?) 5 min. one and 2. he really is the STAR of his little portion of the movie. Not enough to be rated a starring role, but, really, the way the film was presented, they were all sort of stars of their portions you know what I mean? He didn’t “support” anyone in his bit, he WAS his bit. Has Peter O’Toole really never won one? That seems criminal…..

Between the insanity in DC and the insanity on this board, I have to go to bed - can’t take it anymore.
