Brad Pitt was back on the set of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in New Orleans yesterday. The biggest news surrounding Brad and Angelina Jolie at the moment is how strippers changed Brad’s life and the Angie bashing by the New York Times.
And this recently in… In the ladies’ category, Angelina Jolie took the Most Attractive Woman of 2006 title according to the three-week poll taken by HelloMagazine.com.

Hi Amaya, I was lurking. Just saw your post. Your nickname for Webb is perfect. I didn’t think I would make it through the SOTU speech, almost fell asleep..looked like some people in the Congress did too..lol..but Webb’s speech afterwards had me wide awake. He did great and I’m so glad he was chosen to give the speech!

My opinion on the speech was this: same drivel, different year. I’ve heard it all before and I still don’t believe a word of it.
About MSNBC criticizing Nancy, what was she supposed to do? Scream and cheer like a cheerleader? I thought that Condi’s job. Lol. I bet that’s what they probably wanted her to do and now they are all mad that she didn’t go along with their plan. Everytime Nancy didn’t clap, I smiled. =)

Why do some fans over here still go over to Jennifer Anston’s thread and talk sh*t?
We all try and sound sane and reasonable, but it’s real disappointing to see that we talk out of both sides of our mouths like hypocrites and go over to Jennifer Aniston’s site to call her ugly.
Why? We say the triangle’s over and we shouldn’t be talkin’ ’bout it anymore because the tabs are listening and yet go over to Jennifer Aniston’s site and cause problems over there as if the tabs aren’t listening there either. Why?
I’m over the whole fued bullsh*t it was always childish. I respect the opinions of most women on this board, it’s real sad to know that some of us are just hypocrites.

I am sorry but I think you do not know what you are saying.
If someone is dong some good work to feed her ego, she can not do it for a long time and so vigorously. Angie is helping people because she wanted to do something for them not to feed her ego. You should listen or read her interview about the refugees. You are so way off. Do not criticize someone before you do research on them.
Nana…it is sad but you cannot change the haters mindset. They are programmed to hate, that’s all. Even Angelina &Brad is sincere in their vocation haters will not believe it a bit. They will always equate it to just a show. Unfortunate the haters will always be like this. Their mind are narrow & going to a broader meaning of one’s life like what Brad & Angelina are doing I am sure their mind will explode. It is easy to hate & spread hate but learning how to love & admire & how to give it out to others take a lot of gut.

The thousand of refugees, the thousand of woman and dying kids Angie help will be a blessing and good karma for her and her family for the rest of her life. and She’s getting it right now. 3 healthy beautiful kids , a loving, supportive partner and financially well-off. what else do we ask for ?
I lived in a country where 80-90% of the population are buddhist , friends,family and colleague are mostly buddhist and I do understand the meaning of karma.

I understand that some people want to take revenge against __’s fan for messing up BAMZS thread, but….I wish people wouldn’t give her hits. Then I see that above thread, and it amazes me that the numbers of replies keep going up. Whhhhy??
Which is why….ignoring trolls and learning to scroll down really really helps. But, I do enjoy it when intelligent BAMZS fans squash the haters w/ their facts and researchs. There are also alot of intelligent BAMZS fans that post insites, info, and places that one can help and donate to. …keep up the good work. ^^ Really really enjoy reading them. ^^

I saw that little interview (Brangelina) on the Golden Globe Award night, but I didn’t really find anything too problematic. I didn’t think Angie was being uncooperative at all. Am I the only “strange” one to find that interview without any flaws/problems? And also, that “blob” comment - it’s really nothing. I mean, why is it such a big deal to call her little one a “blob”? It sounds rather cute to me. I mean, Angelina even said Shiloh is starting to have a personality now, like her two older kids. Heck, when I was born, I was a blob. Who can even talk about things when every comment/word gets criticized? I wonder why people make such a fuss when Brangelina talk about something. AND I personally don’t know why people attack so much Angelina about breaking up Brad and Aniston. I mean, they didn’t even have a kid during their marriage. And without a child, I think it’s hard to keep the marriage in a good shape. There are a whole lot of other “worse” celebs and they don’t get attacked like Brangelina, which I find it very strange. (Perhaps it’s because they’re at the center of attention…) Michael Douglas left his wife and son for a much, much younger woman and didn’t really get blamed for anything. And what about Denise Richards? She didn’t get blamed much (at least considerably less than Angelina). I have NOTHING against Jennifer Aniston, but she seems “colder” than Angelina. And Brad and Aniston just didn’t look like a couple, at least to me. You know, “gut feeling.” Well, I wasn’t a big fan of Angelina Jolie until she adopted Maddox. It was astounding to see how genuinely she cared for him. And I believe Maddox changed her greatly in a very positive way. No matter what, it looks clear that she treats her three children with so much love, and love towards their own kids cannot be faked. I mean, love cannot be hidden, it’s all in the eyes. That’s all. And to the above poster whoever said Brad isn’t saying much about Angie, I think it’s just his approach/way to face the media. No matter what he says, some people’ll just simply assume he’s defending his behavior. Well, that’s about it. Best wishes to BAMZS!

The cast and crew of the Paramount/Warner Brothers film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” set up shop in Mandeville on Monday and Tuesday, but stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett slipped in and out of town practically unnoticed.
Pitt, who plays the title role, and Blanchett were nowhere to be found Tuesday afternoon during a scene shot on Lakeshore Drive. The co-stars spent time working in the Lewisburg area Monday and early Tuesday morning.
Security was tight in Lewisburg, and line producer Ceon Chaffin said the production is especially sensitive to press when the actors are wearing aging makeup.
The film is an F. Scott Fitzgerald story that tells the tale of a 30-year-old woman who falls in love with a man in his 50s who is strangely aging backward.
Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been buzzwords around the area for weeks, and before the confirmation that the power couple bought a mansion in the French Quarter there had been reports that they were living in Beau Chene and The Sanctuary neighborhoods in the Mandeville area.
The couple reportedly are enrolling their oldest child in a New Orleans school and plan to stay in town for a while after filming is complete. Crews will move out of Louisiana in March, with overall production set to wrap in September. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is expected to hit theaters in 2008.
Filming Tuesday afternoon included a foggy cemetery scene created on the Mandeville lakefront at Carroll Street.
By 3 p.m., crowds had gathered in front yards along the street and behind yellow tape at the gazebo on the lakefront. Some onlookers had been there since late morning, hoping to catch a glimpse of Pitt. By 4 p.m., dozens huddled in groups from Lafitte to Coffee streets.
“There was such a buzz over at Woodlake Elementary this morning about the movie that I had to come check it out,” Mandeville resident Regina Vaccaro said. “Of course, I’m hoping to see Brad Pitt.”
Lakeshore Drive resident Troi Kite said her interest was immediately piqued when she found a flier on her door about the filming. “It is always interesting when you start your day with a message from Paramount,” she said.
The flier alerted residents that Lakeshore Drive would be blocked Tuesday afternoon. Mandeville police officers kept through traffic at bay, but that didn’t stop pedestrians from getting as close as they could to the scene.
Many were disappointed when they realized Pitt wasn’t in the scene, but most stayed to watch the movie-making process.
Chaffin said Pitt and Blanchett finished their scenes in Mandeville earlier Tuesday morning at the Lewisburg set. Monday, the pair and other cast members filmed scenes outside of Madisonville, she said.
Other scenes will be shot near the beach at nearby Fontainebleau State Park on Thursday, Chaffin said. Chaffin, who works closely with director David Fincher, said this is her first time working on a film in Mandeville, but that she, Fincher and Paramount/Warner Brothers are proponents of bringing motion picture business to the state.
“Without Louisiana’s tax rebate program we literally couldn’t get this film off the ground. But while that may be what got us here, it is not the most important part,” she said. “The most important part is that Louisiana has so much to offer. The crews are good to work with. I’ve worked all across the nation and in 13 countries, and you can’t say that everywhere you go.”
She said crews at work on the film are predominately from Louisiana.
Among them, set dresser David Toth of Abita Springs helped prepare the grounds on the lakefront to look like a cemetery. “It is always fun to work on a big film like this at home,” he said.
Chaffin said the film originally was set to take place in Baltimore, but both writer Eric Roth and Fincher are happier in the New Orleans area.
“The city looks great and is perfect for this film,” she said.
Chaffin said working in St. Tammany and Mandeville has been particularly nice because parish and city officials allow permits for specific locations.
“In New York and Los Angeles we have to share space, literally, with paparazzi in our faces. Here, we pay for a space and a time and we get so much work done. It is very productive.”
In addition, she said local residents have been helpful and friendly.
“Everyone has been so great everywhere we go,” she said. “We are so comfortable we aren’t even homesick, that is how well it is going.”

I really wish he had a prior arrangement with the producers(or who ever made the movie) for him to get half of the money of how much BABEL will be making and not some fixed amount of money? Am I asking for too much for I know it will be used for a GOOD CAUSE.
Let The PITTS make tons and tons and tons of money in today and in the future. We can be assured they(money) will not be languishing at the bank for too long but go to some worthy projects in a third world country.
By the way, could somebody please explain to me how actors get paid? For instance, if I sign up for a movie and I quote my price of whatever amount of money. But lets say the movie was a hit and made tons of money, is it possible that I get a bonus of what ever the movie made? If anyone of the intelligent and smart bloggers here at JJ could answer my query, that would be nice. I really admire all of you here.

Good morning. Found a cute item in my higher education reading this a.m. There is an online effort to draft Jeff Sachs (UN advisor and FOJP) for president. The effort seems to be headed by some students at Columbia (where Sachs is a prof of economics) and a few others. They feel that his international relations background and deep understanding of issues of poverty and development make him the perfect candidate.
A spokesperson for Sachs replied that, while flattered, Sachs declines the offer. The group is not giving up in their campaign. Cute. Jeff Sachs for President. (AJ for Secretary of State?) I actually wouldn’t wish the job of getting us out of the current morass on my worst enemy, but for our sakes I hope we have a choice between the best our country can offer.

Grrrrr…..I really, really wanted to start the morning off in a good way….until I saw the Nose Job Denial. Honestly, why does JA feel the need to deny everything? When is she gonna learn to brush things off? Medi wrote something the other other….pardon me if I don’t get it right, it went something like “JA makes me appreciate AJ” and I tell ya, you summed it up right there Medi, the more I hear JA’s stunts, the more I’m drawn to AJ.
Can you imagine if JA was in AJ’s shoes right now? SH will be working overtime (even more so). First will come the denial that she wasn’t icy on the Red Carpet, she was just cold because it was a Cold night and (stupid) Saint John made her wear an off Shoulder dress when what she wanted was a nice sweater (Hey, you know she’s gonna blame someone else). Then we’ll get pix of her playing with the baby the media thinks she hates (remember how Britney Spears was pushing her baby on the swing with the paps in full view? Yeah…something like that). After the playdate, she’ll invite Ryan Seacrest to tea….he’ll of course come with his cameras…no, no…strike that, Ryan Seacrest’s camera is small potatoes. This is a job for the big guns. Helloooo Oprah. After Oprah, there would be an interview with Vanity Fair where she’ll tell us how the NYT article “ruined her night….no her week….alright her month”….a little weeping here, a little “I’m trying to be brave but it’s just so hard because everyone is mean to me” smile there and Bam….the Fanistons are all over her like Bee on Honey…”Oh poor Jen, how she has suffered so”. Goodness, nothing works like pity, no?
