Brad Pitt was back on the set of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in New Orleans yesterday. The biggest news surrounding Brad and Angelina Jolie at the moment is how strippers changed Brad’s life and the Angie bashing by the New York Times.
And this recently in… In the ladies’ category, Angelina Jolie took the Most Attractive Woman of 2006 title according to the three-week poll taken by HelloMagazine.com.

Has Angie been back to the States? I think that I read on the other thread that his parents were in NO when she was away to be with Brad and the kids, or again someone made it up?

No, Angie was already back from Vietnam when the story about her trip was reported. It appears the Senior Pitts came to visit after Angie was already back in NO.
I am waiting and lurking at work hoping to hear about the Oscar noms! Fingers (and toes) crossed for Brad!

Like many supporters of Ms. Jolies efforts, I was equally frustrated by the NYT article. The diffence being, I let my disappontment be known directly to Ms. James. In short, I pointed out that there are many in hollywood that had unpopular high profile relationships (e.g., Claie D, Kate H., Meg R. Tom C., etc) yet, the media seems to focus only on Ms. Jolie.
I also mentioned the bad behavior of many celebs on the red carpet — which was usually directed towards to interviewer (e.g., Joan Rivers & Star Jones). Unfortunateley, the media choose not to air the pleasant interview Ms. Joile & Mr. Pitt did with Pat O. (Inside edition) because, it lacked the sensationalisum they crave. As for Ryan’s comment on his radio show — what a hypocrit. He’s one to talk compared to the behavior exhibited toward candidates on American Idol.
It’s a sad state of affairs, when Paris Hilton is applauded and Ms. Jolie is ridiculed for her efforts. What has this world come to …
I have just seen the oscar nomination, i’m from europe, Brad is not nominated for best supporting actor, but Babel had many nominations, compliments!!! Best picture too!

You know when they announced the Best Supporting Actor Nominees after they mentioned the last nominees some people at the audience made some bit of a noise…maybe because Brad & Jack names are not mentioned.
When they announced The Departed the nominees are TO BE DETERMINED.

Kuddos to Babel for getting Many Oscar nominations!!
Who got nominated for BSA? I guess Eddie Murphy and Alan Arkin made the list.
Angie deserves the criticism. Who calls their baby a blob and then says her adopted kids have so much more personality? Plus she was a total snob at the after parties. She goes from the one diving into pools to sitting cold side and snubbing people. SHE NEEDS TO GET OVER HERSELF!
Oh I see the Oscar nom results are in. I am glad Babel got nominated, and even though I really wanted Brad to be nominated himself, it’s all good, because truly I don’t think this is the performance (Babel) that should get him the Big O. I think he will eventually win for something else where he is on screen longer.
If the nomination didn’t happen for Brad this year, it will be next year.
He is going to get it as the best actor and the best movie one day. Look at his works, I don’t doubt it.
If they don’t show up, I shall be dissappointed.

Damn, I wanted to see Brad get a nod. I think people and things were conspiring against him though. Watch,I expect someone to come out and blame AJ for this too. Just wait and see.
Well the Academy Award show producers have just cut themselves out of about 3 million people here and God knows how many worldwide watching the broadcast. LOL What dummies. I can’t even think of anyone I want to see at that thing now. Seriously.
Also, I hope Brad & Angelina don’t go just to support the film. They are too huge and would make too much of a splash and considering neither is nominated now, it would be unseemly.
Maybe Brad could go and pull a Tom Cruise the night he went when Nicole was there too right after their divorce…he didn’t do the red carpet, just came in backstage and intro’d a film and left. But even that he’s too good for.
If I didn’t know any better I’d think all this negative Angie bashing is designed to try and blame her for ill-will towards Brad. There are powerful people behind the scenes orchestrating these things, it all comes down to pressing palms…I recall the year of the travesty when Paltrow beat Cate B. and this other brilliant actress - it was said Harvey Weinstein got in there and greased palms and bought that Oscar for her.
Did Brad get a nod for producer?
I dislike the both of them intensely. I don’t care how many children they adopt or how many third world countries they visit because at the end of the day they are both lying, cheating, adulterous, vile human beings. I hope what she has done to JA and Laura Dern is done to her (as well as the people who support her). See how she likes it.

Yep! I completely agree with that Dragon. He was on screen only for 15 minutes. He was nominated for a GG and Babel won Best Picture in GGs and now Babel is nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars too along with other nominations. That is pretty cool for me. Brad will have many chances to get it in the future. :)

why is it that ryan asked such annoying questions. He asked the same stuff to patrick dempsey about his wife having twins & just personal cute stuff to other celebrities & they didn’t have a problem with it. OH I think shes more comfortable making a scene on the red carpet making out with billy bob & her brother. Thats more her. shes just not comfortable trying so hard to be someone shes not. Brad was being coy & funny saying they were going to make a soccer team & rule the world. Angelina hardly cracked a smile! Shes so fake & hates americans! She only likes to make money off of us!
I thought this was this was appropriate since Brad is not nominated although its great that the novie had several nominations. If they decide to go great and if they don’t I’m sure they will be doing something worthwhile and fun.
