Oscar nominations are in!!! Although Dreamgirls picked up a total of 8 nominations, it failed to pick up a best picture nod. Babel scored 7 nominations, including Best Picture. The 79th Annual Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, and televised live by ABC @ 8PM ET/PT. The “less important” nominations are after the jump!

yes jen hs had some flops but that’s not her fault. everyone makes bad movies. She had just finished Friends and was going through personal problems. to be honest i think the studios owe jen. They and the media really exploited her break up.

Jennifer Aniston Is ‘Wanted’ By Meryl Streep
Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep are in talks to star in Wanted, according to Variety.
The film will tell a story about a female policewoman who is framed for drug trafficking. Aniston is to play the cop, while Streep is her cellmate, a war protester.
The film is an adaptation of a novel by Kim Wozencraft, a former undercover drugs agent.
As soon as I hit submit I realized that you were posting now not lurking - what I meant was have you been lurking or just signed on? I wanted to ask you two things - 1. where do you get your great pics from and 2. Is this the current thread that people are using? (hence the lurking comment) Thanks.

After the divorce, Nicole put her energy to making movies and did NOT spend time badmouthing the ex. Nicole got Oscar. This is the difference between Nicole and your Jen.

Meryl Streep talking about future projects with no mention of anything with leatherface
THR: Aren’t you working with Redford again soon?
Streep: I have a movie (”Lions for Lambs”) with Redford in January — he’s directing and acting — about a professor and two students in Afghanistan. Tom Cruise plays a senator. I’m the investigative reporter on his ass.
THR: Why did you take such a small role in the upcoming independent film “Dark Matter”?
Streep: It’s an important part, not a big part. A friend of mine is producing it, and the story intrigued me. Chen Shi-Zheng is a Chinese director who looks at the university experience through the eyes of Chinese students in the ’90s who come here to the U.S. It was an opportunity to make connections with Chinese actors, which was very interesting. If we can’t get along with people in our own country, how are we going to manage around the world? It’s an intriguing look through others’ eyes at our culture. I also shot one day on (Focus Features’ upcoming) “Evening,” based on Susan Minot’s novel. And in the spring, I’m shooting in Russia “The Last Station,” with Anthony Hopkins, about the last days of Leo Tolstoy, directed by Michael Hoffman. I’m Mrs. Tolstoy.

I’m a bit dissapointed that Brad was not nominated in BSA. But I’m glad Babel and The Departed was both front runner in the best pic award . At the end of the day he still came out as the winner.

Um, Aniston can’t get financing for her movies. She’s having to pay to have them scripted for her. A studio won’t even pay for that for her. Streep will not be doing Wanted. Once Wanted left Plan B, Meryl pretty much left the project. Meryl is well lined up for work until sometime in 2008 and Wanted isn’t in the mix.
But, Dirty Tricks is, a Plan B film, which is why she actually signed up for Wanted. To work with the team at Plan.
But, you get on with your bad self and repeat what you’re saying over and over again. It works best though if you don’t say it out loud. The voices in your head, only you can hear them.
HW doesn’t owe Aniston a thing. They’ve paid their dues to Aniston, it’s now time for her to pony up. It’s a bit difficult for her now since she was never really in the league she was trying to play in.

Yes , that news was printed since year 2005, while she was promoting one of her 3 flop films. Its 2007, my dear. no go signal for that film.

meryl loves the idea of working with Jen. Vince Vaughn and anyone who has woked for her will tell you how much they love her. Julia Roberts has not working alot and Jen will be the next Julia Roberts. She has the best legs and the most beautiful. People cant get enough of her. she is magazine gold. Everytome she is on a magazine it sells out. And when she gets nominated for an Oscar she will show up and be happy to be on the red carpet unlike some people.
