I want Babel to win best movie, Helen Mirren to win best actress, and Rinko Kikuchi to win best supporting actress. I don’t care about the others.
I also want Brad and Angie to attend. If they don’t I ‘m not watching because without them it will be boring.

meryl loves the idea of working with Jen. Vince Vaughn and anyone who has woked for her will tell you how much they love her.

LOL! Yeah? Tell that to Jay Mohr

Page Six

THERE’S no love lost between Jay Mohr and Jennifer Aniston, who worked together in “Picture Perfect.” Mohr, now starring in “Simone,” was asked about his relationship with Mrs. Pitt in Steppin’ Out magazine. “I’ve worked with a lot of people who were really a- -holes, and who shall remain nameless,” he says. “But they’re certainly not my ‘Friends.’ Just put ‘Friends’ in italics, and we’re good to go.”

Michelle Williams, and Yes I think you are correct.

Jay Mohr went on a radio station on the east coast and said she was a ***** to work with on the movie set. The DJ’s from that point on loved to hammer her on air.

Excerpt from transcript - Show Biz Tonight, last night:

Joining us tonight from Hollywood, Tom O`Neil from theenvelope.com; Paul Degarabedian`s joining us, president of Media By Numbers; and right there, at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, Leah Rozen, film critic for “People” magazine.

HAMMER: And we`re - we`re talking about Oscar shockers here. I got to imagine a lot of people shaking their heads today saying, Well, where the heck was Brad Pitt`s name? Because he wasn`t exactly a long shot, right, Tom?

O`NEIL: Yes. Not only Brad Pitt, but also Ben Affleck. The - the tabloid boys got slapped today.

I thought it was very interesting, because we began this award year where Brad`s performance in “Babel” was so admiring. The movie did so well across the board, but he was shut out. I think he`s paying a price for this Brangelina business.

The following is quote from Pitt in an interview done in August 2001. The article appear in Vanity Fair Dec 2001

We’ll see where it goes…I find myself looking forward to a family. It’s not that I’m self-absorbed. Anything that’s going to take the focus off myself, I welcome.”

This man wants a family ever since Agugust 2001.

==========================================
I think he has wanted a family even before that, the man is a loyal dedicated family man. He and Angie are a perfect match.

Jen has a ton of movies that she is producing and next year she might get nominated for an Oscar. As I posted in the dirt thread Meryl Streep said Jen was the greatest actress of her generation.

Angelina Backlash, is it Justified?
Wed, 01/24/2007 - 12:20am by PopSugar •

Angelina seems to be unable to win these days. She supported her man at the Globes, headed to Vietnam for more charity work and then returned to the states to her new home. She was seen here picking up Maddox at his new school in New Orleans. However, no matter how normal Angelina tries to be, or how helpful she hopes she is to other countries, she will face bitter backlash for one reason or another. Ryan Seacrest got vocal about feeling snubbed at the Globes, and now the NY Times is taking a stab at what may be Angelina falling from grace. One thing is for sure, Angelina will always be in the headlines, whether it’s for wearing blood around her neck or helping countries in need, so the real question is can’t we all just get along?

yes she is taking a break bc she worked so hard the last few years. But she is a producer now and everything will change. Everyone loves Jen. She is America’s Sweetheart. People will come ou to support her bc she’s so talented. Maybe you haven’t seen the Good Girl.

=========================================

Where was the support for her “LAST” movies, Rumor has it,,, Friends with money” LOL and Derailed. HUH, Why did all of her last 3 movies Flop Big time. She has no support, I do believe a lot of people relate to her, (women that have been dumped by their men) and I think people feel sorry for her and pity her, but they dont really like her. kind of sad to have to live the rest of your life with your peers having nothing but Pity for you.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA! She’s taking a break? A year and a half break? GMAFB! What is she waiting for — I thought she was so worried about taking a break before lest the public forget about here. Oh, I see, that’s why Huvane is constantly keeping her in the public eye by any means necessary. Because she has no movies coming up!!!!

A ‘Friend’ in need,
but not in deed?

Nancy Balbirer (below) helped Jennifer Aniston (above) get a foothold in New York before the days of ‘Friends’ fame. The reward for her trouble? Snubs from the new superstar and a rejection from the show, Balbirer claims.

Jennifer Aniston probably wishes she’d been nicer to fellow actress Nancy Balbirer, who shared a West Village apartment with her in the late 1980s.

Then maybe Balbirer wouldn’t have ratted her out the other night at Joe’s Pub, where an audience of actors and writers shrieked with laughter during an evening of readings to mark the paperback release of “The Underminer: Or, the Best Friend Who Casually Destroys Your Life.”

The 40-year-old Balbirer was among the performers who told stories of their own personal “underminers.” Balbirer’s “underminer” was “a famous sitcom actress” called “Jane” — a thinly veiled Aniston — who she met when both were auditioning to be extras on “Saturday Night Live.”

A Lowdown spy reports: “Jane, who had recently graduated from the High School of Performing Arts, was a few years younger than Nancy and was the daughter of a soap actor and a plastic-surgery victim who had divorced. Nancy let Jane live rent-free in her Village apartment for a few months.

“Nancy said Jane, who was then working at a burger joint, was obsessed with her looks, and would give herself bikini waxes while lying upside-down on the couch. The pair went on auditions, on diets, and to aerobics classes together. Jane advised Nancy to try and be ‘more f—able’ on auditions, and to buy chicken cutlets at the Food Emporium to stuff her bra. Jane iced her nipples before auditions, and lamented her big butt and her nose, which she said ‘came from her Greek half.’

“Jane moved to Los Angeles, got liposuction, a nose job and a hairline adjustment, and lost a lot of weight after going on NutriSlim. Nancy recounted a trip to L.A. where she asked to stay with her old friend, but instead Jane named some hotels, telling Nancy not to be so desperate, because it’s unattractive, especially in a town like L.A.

“After Jane landed a sitcom about friends who live together in the Village, Nancy independently met with the show’s producers for a recurring role, which she landed on the spot. A few hours later, she was inexplicably fired, yet paid in full, plus an extra week’s pay, despite never filming a scene. Later a producer friend told Nancy that Jane had her fired and the two old friends never spoke again.”

When Lowdown repeated the dish to Aniston, via her flack Stephen Huvane, she was not amused. “Jennifer does know this woman Nancy, and she did live with her for a little bit, but did not live rent-free,” Huvane insisted after consulting Aniston. “They were never close friends — it was not that kind of relationship.”

Huvane vehemently denied Balbirer’s claims of plastic surgery. As for the hiring-firing incident: “The girl did try out for a role on ‘Friends,’ but the girl just didn’t get it. The cast doesn’t get involved in casting — especially the first year. She just sounds like an opportunist who’s using Jennifer to get attention. This is mean-spirited.”

Balbirer told Lowdown the “Jane” story “is part of a new solo show and book I’m writing called ‘Take Your Shirt Off And Cry,’ about my life in show business and Hollywood.” And Warner Bros. has acquired movie rights to “The Underminer” for Management 360 — Vince Vaughn’s management company.

She is just taking a break. Everyone wants to work with Jen. she is going to be so powerful this year. People will be lining up to work with her. When it comes to producing no one will be able to touch jen. She will double her wealth and become one of the most powerful actress/producers in the business.

LOLOLOL, You poor poor dear.. I have to say though, you are seriously cracking me the *** up though.. Carry on.

New Thread

I agree with whoever said Little Miss Sunshine wasn’t all that. It was a cookie-cutter “dysfunctional family does road trip and learns that beauty, truly, is on the inside” flic. A combo of 5 different films–all done better.

Pan’s Labyrinth should have been up for best film, damn you Oscar snobs!!!!

Hope Dreamgirls doesn’t win anything, may be ok film but any win will may Beyonce’s big ego even bigger.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Are Jack Nicholson and Dreamgirls also suffering from this brangelina business?

What about the guy that played Tony Blair in The Queen, him too?

Or will we go with EW version, where the supporting actor race was just too crowded this year? Cause, he doesn’t say that Jack, Brad or Ben have bad karma. Only the ones that want Brad to pay for some imagined wrong.

Sure Tom O’neil would, he’s the editor in chief of a tabloid.

Queen Bee @ 01/24/2007 at 5:43 pm

BEST PICTURE=THE QUEEN
BEST DIRECTOR= MARTIN SCORCESE (PLEASE FINALLY)
BEST ACTOR= FOREST WHITAKER
BEST ACTRESS= HELEN MIRREN
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR= EDDIE MURPHY (DIJOMON HOUNSOU)
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS= JENNIFER HUDSON

No surprise Dreamgirls wasn’t nominated, it would have just been robbed anyway. Just like Color Purple, Ray, Malcolm X, Do the Right Thing, Ragtime, Ali, Akeela and the Bee, Lackawana Blues and on and on.

How about Jack Nicholson not in the BSA race, Dreamgirl not in the best pic. race? Jack Nicholson was suppose to be the favorite in GG. Dreamgirl was supposed to be a frontrunner together with Babel and The Departed in Best Picture? Badkarma ?
Aniston had 4 movies released this year, none were nominated, her acting prowess was even panned by critics, the first 3 movies were consider flop in the market. that’s what we called BAD KARMA.
