Whitney over at PopCandy interviewed Veronica Mars‘ Jason Dohring as he was chillaxing on the golf course. Jason gives a little insight on whether or not Mars returns next season or not:
What do you know about whether or not it’s coming back next season? I think if we keep the ratings that we’re at right now … I think we were one of two shows — us and One Tree Hill — to go up in its ratings, so I think that that bodes well for the show. We hit our second-highest numbers ever on the last episode, so I think if we can keep that up,then we can definitely stick around for another year or so.

yes. People watch Veronica Mars. It has been called the best show on television by a few big papers in california. I agree with Sandy, I watched the first episode and within minutes I was hooked. It is an amazing show. Thanks for the pics, could Kristen be any more adorable? And jason and ryan ain’t bad either. ;-)

yes people watch VM, people all over the world in fact… i live in new zealand and i get my episodes downloaded by a friend in the uk who snail mails them to me… don’t have a computer clever enuf to download them myself :( so i’m about 4 episodes behind atm ….
anyway no superpowers for veronica except some pretty impressive smarts but the show isn’t really about a girl who solves mysteries, i mean sure that’s the premise and what most of the A plots revolve around but the show itself is about more than that… its about finding yourself and pain and misery and weakness and love (more specifically LoVe) and making bad decisions and trying to make good decisions and basically its the best coming of age show since Buffy the vampire slayer…
so DEFINATELY watch it… the actors and characters and writing is amazing
