Katie Holmes Makes ‘Mad Money’

Variety reports that Katie Holmes will join Queen Latifah in Mad Money, which will shoot in Shreveport, La.

Based on British film Hot Money, Mad Money tells the story of three female employees of the Federal Reserve who plot to steal money that is about to be destroyed. The third actress is not yet cast.

Katie also has dropped out of the sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight. Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine (Alfred) and Heath Ledger (Joker) will begin shooting this spring.

Pictures include: Katie Holmes, Cate Blanchett, and Giorgio Armaniis past Tuesday at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2007.

Sad, she used to dress well. Now she dresses like a 40something, guess money doesn’t buy style AND happiness.

Haha, I will say that I question her fashion choices quite a bit…she does seem to dress more ‘maternal’ these days…I actually hated this dress…but sometimes, she looks great…I don’t know if she looks sad all the time…

I was a big Tom fan until he started going all crazy on everyone…and the only reason I feel he has zipped the lip some and tried to reconcile with some he attacked (like Brooke Shields) is b/c he knew his image was falling fast…it became time for image repair…so, he has been much kinder in keeping his opinions to himself…

But I think Tom obviously cares about her..Katie is always going shopping, eating out…spending $ that isn’t hers…who are we to judge them?? There have been plenty of strange hollywood relationships that have beat the odds and worked out…

I do not think she looks sad. You are the same people who go at her when she smiles that she is brain washed. Any way I can bet you she is having a time of her life being friends with Armani and sitting in the front row at Couture and stealing the show. I am glad she is going back to work though. I loved her movies. That new one mad money sounds promising. And Yes she looks better than she did two years ago. She is now elegant and classy and I know that really irks many of you who still think a small town girl should never hit it so big.
