OlderDaniel Radcliffe Goes Shirtless in ‘Equus’

Daniel Radcliffe, best known as the boy-wizard Harry Potter, is set to star in classic stage play Equus later this summer about a young man who blinds six horses in a torrid ritual. Check out these promo pics of the 17-year-old!
Daniel said, “I’m really excited to be part of this production. I’m thrilled to be working with Richard Griffiths (Harry Potter’s Uncle Vernon Dursley) again. This is obviously a huge departure for me as an actor, but Equus is such an amazing play that this really was an opportunity not to be missed.”

What’s with all the idiots that are talking about Dan? I guess they missed Brad buying Maddox a cup of rice in New Orleans, so they have to rip on Dan. At least Dan is acting and doing what he loves and is worth more than you’ll ever be.

EWWWW! He looks… gross and creepy. It’s nasty how he has hair on his chest. It makes me feel like throwing up in my mouth and swallowing it. He’s just really skinny, and pale and EYUCK! I used to love him as HP but now I’m going to see him diffrently. He just too cute when he’s twelve and not 17.

Boy has definitely grown up¡ I guess that in despite of going to the theatre to see him acting, mostly of his fans will go there just because of the fact of him being naked. He’s got the typical teenager looks, he needs a little bit more baking to become a real man, but it’s quite promising… He reminds me to Elijah Wood, still half-done…

Well, I have always gone for guys with a runner’s build, so he’s perfect to me. I just don’t understand you girls who want a big, beefy meathead. Not my thing. DR could still kick your ass at his current size–why do you need more?

I am stunned that the Brits are up in arms over this matter, especially considering how liberal European countries usually have been when dealing with nudity and sexuality. The young actor at the heart of the matter is nearly 18 years old but yes, he began shooting the Harry Potter series over eight years ago as a boy. Clearly, by the look of the photos displaying his newly buffed physique, he’s trying to let us all know that he is a man now. He’s moved from Harry Potter to “Hairy Peter” and it is actually a wise transition for his career; a little assurance that he won’t one day become a toothless, haggard, has been actor at 75 years old starring in “Harry Potter and the nursing home goblins.”
