Brad Pitt to Paparazzi: “You Guys are Unbelievable”

Poor Brad……

Thoughts and prayers are with the Bamzs family. Just wish the paps would give them the respect and leave them alone.

If the papz let them be for the rest of the time until after the funeral, I for one would willingly give up blogging and searching for their pics on the internet. But do you honestly think the other bloggers would, and the papz would stop?

I have to say that this is really sad. His partners mother just died, you think that they would have enough shame to leave them alone. Its almost as if they are feating on this. I hope that websites and magazines have enough decency not to post their pictures. At least so they don’t make a profit on them.

You know, I don’t know why, but I’m shocked. I came by to read the other thread, and found these. Thank you JJ for showing us that they have so much more to live with than just their grief. I agree with hey hey…I want them to mourn in private, just like the rest of us.

I guess with the paps there is no such thing as boundries. I was hoping JJ would not put these pics up, becuase Brad and Angelina are in mourning. The process of arranging the burial for a loved one is obviously a very sad and heart wrenching thing.

If the paparazzis were pushing the doctor and each other to take a photo of Diana, Princess of Wales right after the accident in the car who was fighting for her life, what can we expect them to do to Angie?

They don’t even have conscious for someone dying in the accident, do you think that they would respect Angie who just lost her mother? I don’t think so unfortunately.

Couldn’t agree more! What you say of American society is soooo true, unfortunately. There’s a pack mentality towards anyone who dares to be “different”, and it brings out a bloodlust to belittle and destroy anyone deemed to be an “outsider”.

Sometimes I feel as if I am standing on a cliffside watching all the lemmings run right off the edifice, willingly smashing themselves and as many others as they can drag down with them onto the rocks below, and I am the only one trying to get them to stop and consider whether or not this a good idea. Of course they just keep gleefully jumping off the edge…

My husband and I have actually considered moving to Europe once our children are grown. I wouldn’t blame Brad and Angie one bit of they left.

Nonna, totally agree except it is the American media which is feeding the frenzy and the supply and demand of the majority of the people - i.e AJ/BP bashing - which has gone on for the last three years. Take aside the mindless comments from the blog spots, how do you account for the negative jibes from media publications? These publications are simply feeding the fodder that the public enjoys and wants to read. And Nonna I am from SWitzerland, I can tell you that these two individuals are looked upon in such a different light than the sensationlistic manner in which the american media protrays them.

I really think Brad and Angelina purchasing property in New Orleans was a very positive move. The people they have interviewed there seem protective of them. I can see them being able to live a semi-private life there if they should choose to do so, at least for part of the school year (I hope). Best wishes to the whole family.

My 2 cents worth. Thanks Jared for posting photos of the BAMZS as quickly as you have always done. However, I’d like you to take down most of these photos and also the video. I haven’t clicked on the video and I’ve not looked that closely at the photos - the comments from those who have turns me off.

I posted this morning on Angelinajoliewatch.com that I will not be posting the pictures that the paparazzi are shooting. I beg of you, take down the pics, spread the word. It’s not just about AJ… when anyone looses a loved one they deserve privacy to bury and morne them… celebrities included. Be the bigger guy and don’t feed into the scum-suckers.

Not to be a wet blanket but, if you’ve ever had anyone in your family suffer from cancer you’d know it’s usually a long drawn out process. I’d guarantee they’ve been prepared for this for a very long time. The MD’s would obviously know if the treatment was working or not. In a lot of cases of cancer sometimes it’s something else within the body that fails due to the cancer or an infection like sepsis or pneumonia, an ebolism, etc.

Loosing anyone in your family or someone you love is a tragic thing but I think people aren’t giving them enough credit. While absolutely they’re grief stricken but they’re not non functional people. They’ll get through it.

First of all you’re being mighty presumptuous to assume I or anyone else here hasn’t experienced cancer first hand, concerning either their own health or a loved ones. I frankly don’t even know anyone that it hasn’t touched in some capacity, so enough with the patronizing tone.

But you trip yourself up when you say, ‘they were prepared for it,’ because ‘it’s a long drawn out process.’

First of all, NO ONE, is ever PREPARED for the death of a parent or child, even when you know it’s coming. You just are not.

I don’t know what you didn’t like about what I was saying - perhaps you chafed at the idea that Brad has an emotional bond and love for Angie and her family like no one in his life before in my opinion, or maybe you didn’t like the way I described the way he goes about cherishing her in public, specifically I mentioned ‘The Good Shepherd,’ premiere and how he treated her with such tenderness and love (ditto the GG’s, where it just emanated)…was it the ‘porcelain doll,’ bit — who knows? It’s hard to say who we’re dealing with on these boards sometimes….

But either way, the fact remains, knowing that your mother who has lived with cancer for 7 and half years, may not be able to rebound this time, may not get another remission, and/or hearing that the cancer has spread is as devastating as hearing the diagnosis for the first time. Angelina and her family, I’m surmising, had either an inkling or more than an inkling that Marcheline was losing her battle, but chose to stay positive and continue living their lives for Marcheline’s sake. There’s nothing worse for a person who is sick, and worse still, terminally ill, than to see your family hovering, suspended and paralyzed in torturous limbo waiting for the worst. As a matter of fact, that is the worst part of being sick. Jamie living his life and working, and Angelina loving Brad and her family, and living her life, was the best and most peaceful gift they could have given their Mom.

But in doing that, that still doesn’t mean Angelina wasn’t consumed at times knowing what was inevitable was coming sooner rather than later.

All I was saying was that in retrospect, Brad seemed so protective and tender towards her, and she of course had this air of fragility, and now we know why…..

Question is, why do you have a problem with that…er, ‘red shoe’ was it?

Is that really what you think? An “event” is that what you think the death of a persons mother is “an event” An event no less to milk? I really feel sorry for you. There are lots of actors performers that I don’t enjoy but the one thing that makes everyone human is life and death. Her mother died. Wow “an event?”

The good thing about Brad’s life with Angie is that he is experiencing life in all its complexities, anxieties, sadness, joy, triumps and maybe even failure. In other words he is living a full life and a fulfilling life. So what, if he get some grey hair and wrinkles in the process through sleepless nights and sick babies etc. Life is for living - a rich and layered and multi-facted experience (including charity work) and - then you go home to your maker, and hear “Well done!!!”

Life is not only about the next spa tratment, the next red carpet event, the next botox treatment, magazine cover or adulation of mindless fans. Moving to New Orleans, even for a part of the year, to that gorgeous house, next door to real people with real experiences is going to make Brad’s life even richer. Well done Brad. Well done Brad. Never be afraid to face life and to share the moments …even death and mourning…with those who mean everything to you.

haha!! Me either, girl! Some of these people make me wonder if they have the sense God gave a goose. I just keep plugging away, hoping it does some good, but thankfully, I get enough postive feeback from former students who come back and tell me that they later realized what I was trying to get them to understand, so that makes it worth it.

it is true, that world had looked to America for leadership when problems occur. And I for one do not forget my history - nor do people in my parents generation. We were PRO Americans. Most Asian were, even the Chinese in China. Once China allowed its people to travel abroad to study and work, the 1st choice was America.

I have never disliked any American President. Its never been an issue to me that America places its own interests before other countries. It is the duty of the American president to place the interests of its citizens before the rest of the world. I honestly have no problems with it. However, I dislike George W Bush, and I don’t think he has been good for america, never mind the rest of the world.

In my opinion, the real shift from PRO American to Negative American attitudes in Asia and Europe can be traced to GEORGE W BUSH. He has done nothing for America’s image abroad. He started his presidency by UNILATERALLY RENEGING the Kyoto accord on carbon emissions which had been agreed to by the Clinton administration. He continued by questioning the science of global warming, reducing funding for condom protection in sex and promoting abstinence instead. He compounded the negative impression by being, if not fraudulent, at least CARELESS with the truth and with the evidence which showed that just may be, there were no WMDs in Iraq. He misled his allies - including Australia and led them into the war in Iraq and proceeded to mismanage it. He allowed Guantanamo to exist for more then 5 years now despite with all these people held in legal limbo. He has not been able to prove - even on the balance of probabilities, that all of these men are actually terrorists. He failed to adequately condemn the abuses in Abu Ghraib by refusing to sack his Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld who should have been held accountable. he has authorised the sending of prisoners to countries where torture is allowed so that they could be tortured to extract information. He appointed John bolton, a man who had nothing good to say about the UN as the US’s ambassador to the UN. I know the UN has problems but the world perceived the message as being that George W Bush doesn’t care one bit about the UN. Yet, without the UN, flawed though it may be, what do you have??

I honestly don’t believe he was good for America. He introduced tax cuts, which her persisted with even though the financial outgoings of the nation had changed because of the cost of the war in Iraq. He kept drumming up fear in Americans’ “the terrorists are coming, the terrorists are coming and only George W Bush and his team can keep you safe’ WTF. Plenty of people live in countries with terrorists attacks. The english had been subjected to IRAs terrorism for years - an IRA funded largely by American sympathisers I might add (did you know Sinn Fein used to come to the US for fund raising??). There is a reason why the English have a stiff upper lip. The reality is that there are terrorists in this world and no one is exempt. We live our lives as best we can and keep our principles and moral compass. I believe George W Bush lost the moral compass for his people.

If you allow torture because you believe it will help you gain information to protect your people, I understand that. But then, don’t lecture other nations on Human Rights. Personally, I’m saddened by the acceptance of torture in America - and yes, this administration has. I’m saddened because you cannot win a war on terrorism by losing your moral compass, by living by and sticking to your principles. If you sell out the principles you hold most dear in the name of safety - which is another way of saying - succumbing to fear, then any victory would by pyrrhic. Its a faustian bargain and the only loser are Americans.

Insofar as the world is concerned, George W Bush has squandered a lot of the good will which Americans all over the world had built over many years. Living in an expatriate community, I know many Americans who have worked abroad who hate him. I know many people who wondered whether they should migrate and leave America when George W Bush got re-elected.

Becaues for most of the world George W Bush IS America. He is the face, he is the leader. Right or wrong.

Now, back to Brad and Angelina - particularly Angelina. She is more then just a celebrity and an activist. She is doing more then holding placards and dinner parties and getting legislation passed. She’s actually been funding and is actively engaged in the Maddox Jolie Pitt Project. She is actively funding and helping the aids orphans in Cambodia and with her money, her vision, changing lives, saving lives.

By my definition, an activist might be some one like George Clooney. Good for him. Angelina is doing more then just being an activist. That’s like calling Bill and Melinda Gates or Oprah activists. I don’t know what is a good label for them coz they aint no saints. But they are doing good. And its people like them who keep the positive image of America up. Coz it sure isnt George W Bush.

Well hopefully this won’t shock you too much, but I myself am not going to look at them out of respect for Brad and Angie. Naturally, they are cleaning out Angie’s mom’s condo, just like any of us would have to do. It is probably very sad for them. Why would I want to see that? There’s nothing to see really, and I don’t need that on my conscience. I hope most of you guys don’t, either.

Brad is remarkable for keeping his cool at such a time. I know he’s had a lot of practice, but this time it’s different. The emotions he has been through himself let alone how he has comforted Angelina in the past few day, would drive a lesser man over the edge. At every turn he exibits what a classy man he is. She has not called a press conference or gone on Oprah with every tabloid rumor. She has champion causes dear to her heart while raising three beautiful children, being a devoted partner and daughter. I wish her all the best as well as BP. As Rose stated, BP is where he was destined to be. He is helping his partner by being a solid rock to her. Life is more than Hollywood premieres, botox and “cheesing” for the cameras. It is messy and it consists of good times and bad times. Best wishes to BAMZS.

Its very sad that photographers can’l leave them alone in time like this. Unfortunatelly, that is what the industry is paying for - get the pics first and get them fast. Brad and Angelina are more brands to them them people and I am afraid that comes with the profession.
However, I wish they could go away and have peace and quiet to grieve. Glad Angelina is not alone, I always thought her mom will pull through - was hoping that money will help. My friend is fighting cancer now and she is just 40 and amazingly beautiful and I would die to loose her. Today I feel like I just might loose her.

Hey all, I just though I’d share my take on one of the topics being discussed here.

When it comes to haters I just think to myself “Jimmy crack corn and I don’t care” because that’s how I truly feel. I never really venture to any other gossip blogs except for Trent’s and he removed his comments section because he got tired of the haters and their BS.

One of the things that I love about JJ and the bamzs fans on here is that our mere presence aggravates the haters, it probably keeps them up at night (much like Brad and Angie living their lives). I imagine that it kills them to know that not have every gossip blog is polluted with anti-Brad and Angie fans like themselves. Heaven forbid there is a gossip blog that is dominated by Brad and Angelina fans. In their delusional world, they’re three for four in the gossip blogosphere but JJ is the fourth and last wall that they can’t knock down. So like any desperate person they come here and spew their hate using one of their many personalities. It’s really just pointless yipping and yapping and just a waste of time. Personally, I wouldn’t spend time on a thread or blog centered on a person that I strongly dislike. But hey, that’s just my sane way of thinking. :)

Haters will not succeed. Trust me. Who would buy hatred, envy and negativity? Nobody in his right mind will.

People will prefer to read and learn about love, beauty, kindness, generosity, optimism, etc.

Angelina embodies what is true, good and beautiful.

I wonder if there’s some way we can send sympathy cards or notes of encouragement to the family. It doesn’t have to be their home address but maybe their production office or something. Just to let them know that their fans are feeling their sorrow for the loss their loved one.

The papz are a necessary evil in their chosen profession. When they start ignoring you is the time to hang up your dancing shoes, so to speak. We’re thrilled with new pics and articles about our favorite stars but guess who gets them for us fans?

I agree that in times like this, the celebs should be left alone but good luck with stopping that hungry for scoop hound. So maybe if Angie and family see how we care and understand, it would lessen the pain of the intrusion by the scuzzy paparazzis.

Did you even read the original posts, they were not just about Angie so many people shared their own personal experiences about a mother, sister, friend that they loss to cancer. Should they wipe their tears for them too? What is wrong with you people that you could be so insentivity to the loss of real people? I don’t get it and I hope to God I never do.

I actually would love for Rosie to leave ‘The View’ (heard she was planning to do that), and get her own show again - one where she can be who she is (not like previously, prior to be ‘officially’ out). In the 90’s Jon Voight stopped filming for a few years to spend time with his ailing mother. Then when he did film he took jobs in places that he could take his mother. She went with him on a few locations and he said she had a good time. Seems to me from this that Jon Voight is not the woman hater he is made out to be. There has been genocide in many places around the world by dictators including IRAQ, Bosnia, and Darfer. There are terrorist , evil dictators and supporters of dictators throughout the world that are the ones most responsible for problems in the world.
The facts is that Brad/Angelina have been hounded whereever they have gone. Whether it be the US, Germant, France, Switzerland, Namimbia, etc. The reality is that they will be hounded until another couple or another celebrity becomes more interesting to the masses . I’m sure that a few years from now they won’t be hounded as much when some other issue with a celebrity becomes more of a focus. I think tabloids, paparazzi and journalism reporters in general throughout the word have shown behavior that is despicable.

Enough of my rant. The behavior in this thread sickens me. I have never asked for a thread to be closed or removed but I think this one should. I think many of us including myself have particpated in making a thread ugly when now more than ever it should be the opposite.

Paris Hilton has fans all over the world and so does Britney and I don’t have any respect for them either.

You statements clearly tell me that you only know what the media constantly pushes. Voting has less to do with the INDIVIDUAL running as it has to do with the IDEALS of policy. I personnally detest GW but considering that Clinton NEVER took this country out of legally declared war from the 1st Bush (and by the way continously sent bombing missions over to IRAQ) historically when this country faces international “drama” left-wing leadership style (IMO) is needed. Actually, neither opponent did it for me. I sure as heck did not want the in-law to the ketchup industry in office either. Many people, I believe, chose what they thought was the lesser of two evils.

Here’s more food for thought, many of the information that CNN and the likes are so happily providing was not available years ago. Seriously do your homework and you will find that more than half of our previous leaders were not without fault. Also, as you probably can quick as a whip find a B&A youtube video seek out the interview with DS and Saddam where he stated that he had WMD and he would continue to develop as he saw fit. (paraphrasing here as this was years ago)

On the economic issues…simple. All laws are a matter of public record do research and see who the original author of recent economic laws are. The president in office at the time the laws/bills are passed are given credit but on some you will be surprised as to their origin. The news is a medium to be used as a starting point but it is by no means the authority on all. The problem with younger generations is they were brought up in the “information/technology” age and true research and individual interlect is being lossed.

Food for thought…whiteout was a telltale sign that there was a mistake or something had changed, technology can erase with the simple action of a keystroke and change for all time without a trace.

Did those who voted for GW wish they did not? Some yes, some no. but should they be slandered for doing the best they could with what they had? NO.

A comedian recently pointed out that for the Miss Pageant we have a choice of 50 contestants and for the most powerful office in this country less than a tenth.

Just a thought I agree with you 100%. In fact I have already instructed my daughter should I become ill like that, I DEMAND that she live her life. I do not want anyone around my bed waiting on me to pass away! The last thing I want to see is my kids sobbing their hearts out over my death bed! I have trained them to be independent and I expect them to do so! I would be crushed if that beautiful kid of mine changed her plans for me. What can she possibly do for me at that time? At this time, In this place, let’s ask ourselves what are we and what have we allowed ourselves to become? It’s not about Marcheline’s death. It’s about loss. Angelina asks nothing of anyone. She owes no explanation to anyone. Her mom loved her unconditionally-she said so. She never judged her. She just loved her. Angie and James may be in their 30’s but to their mom, they were both still little kids. This is true for all moms. There are celeb moms who live their lives through their daughters. They spend countless thousands on themselves because obviously they need that. But Marcheline was a real mom. That’s why Angie was able to make it through and I am proud to see Angie doing what she is doing. Z and Madd have benefited from Marcheline’s loving kindness because had it not been for that loving kindness and unconditional love, those two probably would not be here. So I celebrate and rejoice that God gave Marcheline the time that he did. I don’t have to know Angie personally but I know she has touched lives on at least 5 out of 7 continents and to me that is HUGE!!

I think angelina spent a lot of time with her mother, she and brad did everything in their power to keep the paps and public away from her mother. You haters forget that both brad and angelina are pilots they fly their own planes. just as you see them showup in places that you do not expect them to be so too I think were their visits with angelina’s mother and brads family. In Dec when we saw pictures of angelina shopping they reported that the place was very close to where her mother lived. When brad was renovating the Los Felix compound it was reported that he intended for angelina’s mother to live with them. I don’t know but I think angelina’s mom wanted them to get on with their lives. when angelina was not with her, james was. i remember reading an article where the staff at the hospital was reporting how supportive angelina was of her mother she would go to her chemo treatments with her and stay for hours while she was treated. she would be very nice to the hospital staff and would bring them gifts when she returned from her trips. but not to worry B&A fans, this will all come out in a few weeks when people who were in the know start talking, then some of the people commenting on these blogs will look like the fools they are.

I’ve just learnt for Angie’s mom and I couldn’t come earlier, but with all my heart and my love send them my condoleances and all my support through this hard time. How sad. I’ll never forget the ratz following Keanu Reeves to the cemetary with his grieving girlfriend, as they were burying their stillborn daughter. His girlfriend Jennifer was still heavy with pregnancy and was crying. They turned up again when Keanu buried her a year or so later, after a fatal car wreck. Followed them all the way in, and out, taking pictures the whole way.

I’m sure if Marcheline has a traditional service in a cemetary, the JP’s can expect the same thing, except 10x worse.
