Brad Pitt to Paparazzi: “You Guys are Unbelievable”

Brad Pitt was spotted leaving an office in West Hollywood, Calif late last night for a business meeting, reportedly. He was seen carrying a copy of a the Ron Hansen book, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (one of Brad’s new films that wrapped up last year and due out later this year). Brad, for obvious reasons, wasn’t very welcoming of the horde of paparazzi that swarmed around him as he hopped into his car. Before leaving, Brad addressed the paparazzi saying, “You guys are unbelievable.”

Other pictures include Brad and Angelina Jolie driving around L.A. earlier in the day. Also included is one scan of Brad Pitt in the table of contents of this week’s Entertainment Weekly.

Today is my last day coming to this site for a little while. I hate feeling guilty over my contribution to this madness. I like Brad and Angie, I think that they are good people. They deserve to be left alone . Grieving and mourning is a rough situation. I am to addictive to you smart people, your convo is the best. Keep up the faith and continue to fight the good fight.

Isn’t USA so isolated with the rest of the world? Why has the USA’s image around the world turned for the worst?

Now a days, America is always viewed with suspicion. What happened to the good old days when the USA was considered everyone’s good friend and champion?

Hmmm … can’t help but think now that there must be something wrong with good ‘ol USA.

Come on America wake up … before it is too late!!!

I really think Brad and Angelina purchasing property in New Orleans was a very positive move. The people they have interviewed there seem protective of them. I can see them being able to live a semi-private life there if they should choose to do so, at least for part of the school year (I hope). Best wishes to the whole family.

why on earth would any person let alone persons with children would want or should live in a country where their contributions are belittled and and treated with such derision?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Why? Because an American citizenship is the most valued and coveted thing in the world. Whether you believe it or not. You pay waaaay too much attention to gossip and innuendo. You clearly follow them so you would know that anywhere Brad and Angelina go the public embraces them. John Q. Public…not some tabloid staff writer who’s getting paid to make you read a salacious made up story on them. American’s know the difference.

Yes, Uncle Sam is right… but guys, sometimes don’t you just feel like you are surrounded by idiots? Do you find yourself asking, “Am I the only person around (wherever you live) that has the sense to come in out of the rain?”

Cuz dayum, I feel that way alot of the time. But then again, I am around college students all day, so there ya go. I do my little part to enlighten their pea brains, so right here, right now I must go off to class and cast my pearls before swine.

My 2 cents worth. Thanks Jared for posting photos of the BAMZS as quickly as you have always done. However, I’d like you to take down most of these photos and also the video. I haven’t clicked on the video and I’ve not looked that closely at the photos - the comments from those who have turns me off.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I hope you will reconsider your decision.

I can totally understand it if you thought your curiosity about all things BAMZS has turned into a fixation, but if you think that your curiosity is behind behavior like the paps in the video and what happened with Princess Diana, I think you are wrong.

With the exception of a couple of wingnuts crying out for Shiloh pics, I think that the vast majority of us knows when a line has been crossed and we’re very vocal about it. Digging trenches on private property, faking ailments in order to be stationed in a birthing clinic, soliciting bidders for pics from a stolen digital camera, and other indignities that BAMZS have suffered is not the fans’ fault. It is about money and ego, period. It’s about having a captive audience, but not from one’s own steam.

Maybe fan fiction could qualify, although the only currency the writer will get is feedback; I do think that the closest we’ve got to be paps-like was when someone posted a pic of a fan with Brad Pitt, despite the fan, in question, stating that her sharing of it was on the q.t. since her job could’ve been in jeopardy. The friend of the friend of the fan who sent it to sites was about ego, period, as is #69 Hypocritical Behavior who sees an introspective audience and decides to slip his/her philosophy into the discussion. Yes, it’s a free board, but the emphasis wasn’t on motivation; it was about action and #69’s attempt to herd other people’s actions.

When I was a kid, I remember seeing a cover of the Enquirer. There was a picture of an overweight woman on the cover; I think she was wearing a red two-piece swimsuit and she was running around on a beach. I didn’t realize that headlines could be snide until I read theirs; it said GUESS WHO THIS IS!!! or words to that effect. I looked inside and saw that it was Lee Remick. I didn’t know who she was at the time, but I do remember that a month or so later, she died, of cancer. I do think of that cover a lot, especially when tabloids roll out their semi-annual ailing elderly celeb story; I recall that they engaged in that practice with Jimmy Stewart and Katharine Hepburn- now they’re doing it to Elizabeth Taylor.

My point is that it’s about intent; the mag is out to get money, power, and some prestige– Lee Remick was out to enjoy a day on a beach and no amount of weight gain or complications from cancer was going to stop her. So please, people, be conscious of your intent, whether you’re posting on this board or making proclamations about yourself about your impending actions or reactions to this current situation.

I posted this morning on Angelinajoliewatch.com that I will not be posting the pictures that the paparazzi are shooting. I beg of you, take down the pics, spread the word. It’s not just about AJ… when anyone looses a loved one they deserve privacy to bury and morne them… celebrities included. Be the bigger guy and don’t feed into the scum-suckers.

Katie, I would suggest you step away from gossip blogs. Gossip blogs are not a reflection of the majority of society. There are over 300 million Americans in the United States. Most of them are not posting on blogs and writing hateful things about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Lets be rational and realize that the internet is called World wide. It’s not just American’s posting on American gossip blogs.

For clarity sake - if nothing else, pls do read my posts and comments prior to jumping on the bandwagon and bashing other countries etc. My comments are aimed purely at the treatment of both Angelina and Brad, not aimed at what America has done, did or will do. The crux of my statement was an outcry or outrage that two esteemed individulas like these who have such a global standing in the world are ripped to pieces on a daliy basis, and if it is not via the tabloid press then certainly at times via mainstream journalism. And lets be honest, most often it is the tabloid press which has the greater coverage - as it is more sensationilst and if news is sensational then it SELLS - and this is what it is most important right?

The Russian and British troops were getting their asses handed to them before the American’s joined the war. Not to be a wet blanket but, if you’ve ever had anyone in your family suffer from cancer you’d know it’s usually a long drawn out process. I’d guarantee they’ve been prepared for this for a very long time. The MD’s would obviously know if the treatment was working or not. In a lot of cases of cancer sometimes it’s something else within the body that fails due to the cancer or an infection like sepsis or pneumonia, an ebolism, etc.

Loosing anyone in your family or someone you love is a tragic thing but I think people aren’t giving them enough credit. While absolutely they’re grief stricken but they’re not non functional people. They’ll get through it.
—————————————————

Uh, read my whole post #64, don’t just excise a sentence.

First of all you’re being mighty presumptuous to assume I or anyone else here hasn’t experienced cancer first hand, concerning either their own health or a loved ones. I frankly don’t even know anyone that it hasn’t touched in some capacity, so enough with the patronizing tone.

But you trip yourself up when you say, ‘they were prepared for it,’ because ‘it’s a long drawn out process.’

First of all, NO ONE, is ever PREPARED for the death of a parent or child, even when you know it’s coming. You just are not.

I don’t know what you didn’t like about what I was saying - perhaps you chafed at the idea that Brad has an emotional bond and love for Angie and her family like no one in his life before in my opinion, or maybe you didn’t like the way I described the way he goes about cherishing her in public, specifically I mentioned ‘The Good Shepherd,’ premiere and how he treated her with such tenderness and love (ditto the GG’s, where it just emanated)…was it the ‘porcelain doll,’ bit — who knows? It’s hard to say who we’re dealing with on these boards sometimes….

But either way, the fact remains, knowing that your mother who has lived with cancer for 7 and half years, may not be able to rebound this time, may not get another remission, and/or hearing that the cancer has spread is as devastating as hearing the diagnosis for the first time. Angelina and her family, I’m surmising, had either an inkling or more than an inkling that Marcheline was losing her battle, but chose to stay positive and continue living their lives for Marcheline’s sake. There’s nothing worse for a person who is sick, and worse still, terminally ill, than to see your family hovering, suspended and paralyzed in torturous limbo waiting for the worst. As a matter of fact, that is the worst part of being sick. Jamie living his life and working, and Angelina loving Brad and her family, and living her life, was the best and most peaceful gift they could have given their Mom.

But in doing that, that still doesn’t mean Angelina wasn’t consumed at times knowing what was inevitable was coming sooner rather than later.

All I was saying was that in retrospect, Brad seemed so protective and tender towards her, and she of course had this air of fragility, and now we know why…..

Question is, why do you have a problem with that…er, ‘red shoe’ was it?

Heh.

Anyone seen ritzy lately?

Well, in all fairness Katie you did lump American’s and their opinions and lack there of for Brad and Angelina together. This may not have been your original intent but it does come off as a slam against American’s towards B & A. You’ve sighted the tabloid media mostly in your point and as many people have posted they are not a reflection of 300 million American’s country wide. Then to say you’re a tad too civilized because of where you are from to offend anyone is a passive aggressive comment.

No Nonna, I inferred that they ought not to remain in a country where there is so little value and respect shown towards them and their contributions whether this is vented via comments from blogspots, tabloid magaizines or maintsream press. I also inferred that they have three children they need to think of - and it is unhealthy for children to have to grow up in a society where your mother and father are slandred on a daily basis and I further inferred that these two individuals would be more than welcome in the rest of the world. I find it amusing to read the commentary of persons irked by my statements - and my so called “passive aggressive” insult was in response to an unsult that had been made onto my person, switzerland and the rest of the world i.e countries outside of America.
