Ashes of Angie’s Mom To Be Scattered
British tabloid The Daily Mirror reports that Angelina Jolie will take Brad Pitt and her family to scatter her mom’s ashes in the Bahamas. (Marcheline Bertrand, 56, died last week from ovarian cancer.)
Their source says: “It was one of her favorite places, so Ange wants this to be special.”

Thanks for the review, I really hope that WB don’t screw this movie up. All the reviews have been good so far and I hope they stick with the september release (which means it may have a shot at awards seasons).
The new Splash video is an example of why Brad and Angelina will probably only return to LA when they have to for business. Hollywood is a cess pool filled with the likes you see in that video

Yesterday I watched the intro to Entertainment Tonight and I was reminded of Angie and Marcheline. Their relationship was private. She never once publicly betrayed or used her by writing a tell-all book or having a revealing interview about Angie. From the way Angie spoke of her, she sounded like a remarkable woman. Even though she wasn’t very public she clearly respected, cared for and loved her daughter.
I was reminded of them because Dina Lohan (Lindsay’s mother) actually invited ET’s cameras along when she visited Lindsay in rehab. Even though they both complain about the paparazzi there she is bringing cameras into what is supposed to be a private situation. :shock: It baffles me to see a mother acting the way that she is right now, especially her comment “I’m her mother not her keeper” This is the same woman that went out clubbing with her daughter well before she even turned 18! But she refuses to take any kind of responsibility for the way Lindsay has turned out.
This just brings me back to Drew Barrymore and her mother Jade. Today they are talking to one another but from what Drew (and her friends) has said they haven’t completely reconciled. During her youth she needed a mother but instead she got a “friend” much like Lindsay. During Drew’s come back Jade actually started competing with her. Drew posed for playboy, she went to penthouse. Then Drew went out with a rock star guy so Jade starts dating a guy that is Drew’s age! I wouldn’t be surprised of Dina and Lindsay end up the same way.
Although I’m not a parent, I can’t imagine treating my child the way that Dina and Jade have. These women have publicly exploited their children yet every decision that Angie makes as a mother is criticized and distorted by the media; it’s incredibly unfair. Personally, I think Angie is a great example of how children (adopted and biological) should be raised. I know parents who have adopted overseas yet they purposely don’t expose their children to homeland’s history and culture like Angie and Brad do. To block out the child’s heritage and history…it’s denying who he or she is as a person..and it’s admirable that Brad and Angie aren’t doing that with their kids.
One pap asks Brad how he and Angelina are doing and he says “Yeah, like I’m sure you really want to know”

from FF and every time there’s a story from the British papz it’s usually negative re: B&A. Not saying the people in general, I didn’t word that right. I meant the blogs and tabloids. The statement was in re: to the the paper this story came from. It usually does a good job bashing B&A, specially Angie. SORRY BAMZS FANS IN ENGLAND!

I agree, Lohan has a lot of Drew in her, I’m not a fan but I can see how the kid got so screw up, the father in jail and her mother is just a classic example of crazy stage mom, who enjoys the money and the attention but not really for her daughter’s well.
OT 2 I was reading some parts of Katie Holmes interview with HB and Tom’s PR team did a great job with this one, Katie will be the minivan majority poster girl by the end of the year.

England breeds some great haters. I mean, those people can really hate.
brad and angie are two intelligent and kind-hearted people. brad loves this woman and his children. you can tell that brad has grown from a good boy to a grown man. i am so happy he’s found angie. i’ve been a brad fan since i saw him on thelma & louise, but i wasn’t too fond of any of the women he’s dated in the past. i didn’t get the sense that his past relationships were real. at the same time, i’ve always admired angie’s good heart with what she has done with her humanitarian work and as a mother to maddox. i wouldn’t say angie is perfect as none of us are perfect, but i can say angie is definitely a good woman, mother to her children and a good person at heart. it’s even better two great people are together!!!!!

I know awhile back I read about some Jesse James/old west historian/expert who was a consultant on the movie say that Brad’s role is a ruthless unsympathetic one and from what he saw, Brad was playing it true. The guy said he hoped the studio wouldn’t try to play down how not nice JJ was and from the sounds of the above review, sounds like they haven’t. I seem to remember he said something to the affect of the studio being nervous that people wouldn’t accept Brad so mean and cold. I will I will! :)

England is tabloid mecca. But I don’t recall them being so mean when Angelina was living there. What happend? Oh never mind.

If it makes you feel better hating people from England - carry on … but as a fairly impartial observer and a lover of BAMZS - I visit JJ everyday usually in lurker mode and imo a lot of the racist comments and death threats come much closer to home namely the good old US of A.
I agree that Brad is just keeping the paps away from Angie. And the reality is, LIFE GOES ON. Everything just doesn’t stop because a loved one died. You still need to work, you still have commitments and obligations, that’s just how it is. And it doesn’t matter if you’ve got enough money in the bank to pay the bills like they do, I’m sure they have things that they are committed to that are on time schedules and you’ve just got to muddle through. I’m sure his mind is elsewhere, but he’s doing what needs to be done.
I just think this is soooo crappy though because they were finally just starting to come out as a couple and letting the world see their love. I mean Brad even got up and talked to Ryan Seacrest for heaven’s sake the channel that broke into their home and I’m sure now they are completely turned off to it all again and will keep themselves on the down low much more. I hope that’s not what happens, but you could see it being a possibility. The paps just don’t realize that if they would just give them some space and time right now they would get so much more out of it in the long run. It sucks, it really sucks. I wish they’d just let them be.
I loved reading the comments on his forthcoming movie AOJJ, gosh it sounds like it will be amazing and it will be a movie I know my hubby will enjoy going to see too. Can’t wait! Thanks for posting them.

Love this post, and so true. Think about all the stars from bygone days who had serious issues, and pretty much everyone had a mother, not a keeper, and usually that mother was involved for their own end. Clara Bow, Judy Garland, Liz Taylor. All of them had mothers with $igns for eyes, and their little moneymakers were so messed up people thanks to their moms. Angelina thank God had a wonderful loving, nurturing mother who put her kids first and didn’t use them to puff up herself.

Gosh I just watched that video on Splash and I’m in tears. I don’t know how he handles it, he’s literally getting treated like some freak show with them just snapping away and he’s like a caged animal who just can’t get away. I would go at those guys like a spider monkey for sure if I was there, just to make them leave him alone.

As for Jesse James, I’m sure they pushed it back several times now because if it is that good they want to make sure it comes out at a time that it will be in the running for award season. It just really sounds like it will be amazing. I read several articles that say that Brad won’t be able to be considered for a producer award for the departed or running with scissors, so what do we all think are the chances they will go to the Oscars now?
Does any one know who those two people leaving with Brad are?
This even neither it is a true history, nobody knows that what goes on. when Angelina want to account to us she will have her representatives say something. to that then is alone speculation. Portuguese persons love Brad and Angelina, specially Angelina. the Latin understand the means of the heart, and it accepts
