Sarah Jessica Parker Goes West
Fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker spent some more mommy-son time with 4-year-old son James Broderick yesterday afternoon. They pair was spotted traveling through LAX airport. Just last week, SJP brought James to see a performance of “Three Little Pigs” at Manhattan Children’s Theater in Tribeca.
SJP, 41, has two brand spankin’ new movies coming out next year. Here are their brief synopses:
- Spinning into Butter — A hate crime on the campus of a New England college puts the school’s dean (SJP) in a position where she has to examine her own feelings about race and prejudice, while maintaining her administration’s politically correct policies.
- Smart People — A widowed and unhappy English professor (Dennis Quaid), alienates his son and turned his daughter into an overachieving, friendless teen. He falls for Janet (SJP), one of his former students, while at the same time his ne’er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Church).

Ahh..he’s so cute. Look at how hard he’s trying to shield his eyes from the flashbulbs! It’s pathetic that they don’t even have respect for kids! He looks just like his Dad. What a cutie!
Thank you Blue Diamond I was just saying the same things you did, but you are much more tactful! I didn’t mean to come off so nasty but I sooooo agree with
you about kate hudson everytime i see that big kid in a stroller and a pacifier
in his mouth! LOL It bothers me, teach your child independence and to be
age appropriate is all I’m saying! And definitely hold the childs hand! But too lift a big kid like that c’mon now! right said Blue Diamond put glasses and a sun hat
on them!
Sorry Blue diamonds! I really do need to be more tactful in my comments LOL

When you state your case with the tact that you have exhibited in your post 27 I’m much more inclined to really hear what you are saying - and I do appreciate your point. I can only guess that the mothers are doing the best they can by their children - Kate Hudson and SJP aren’t acting like Britney after all (that is a mother that definitely deserves to be scolded).
It’s hard to judge ‘age appropriate’ though - children progress at different rates after all. I’ve worked in a day care before and it’s amazing how varied they can be at the same age. I guess I don’t see strollers and pacifiers as being damaging to a 3 year old coping with his mommy being stalked by paparazzi. I think many of the stars just have a ‘knee jerk’ reaction of picking up their little ones the minute the paps are around - I just don’t think it fair to judge when we aren’t in their shoes as parents, that’s all. Peace :-)
Poor James. He must be startled by the paparazzi’s multiple flashes. His boy haircut is so cute making him a scanned copy of his Papa. Mother and Son is visiting Matthew in LA who is currently filming there. They made the trip in mid-January. there were candids of SJP and JW inside a car in LAX.
i admire SJP for balancing her career and family and still keep fabulous. She made her family her priority.
Wait, there’s something I don’t get here….
“A widowed and unhappy English professor (Dennis Quaid), alienates his son and turned his daughter into an overachieving, friendless teen. He falls for Janet (SJP), one of his former students, while at the same time his ne’er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Church).”
Dennis Quaid’s character falls in love with his brother? He falls in love with his former student, while at the same time his brother?
That sentence sounds like it should have something at the end… while at the same time, his ne’er-do-well brother… dies in a car crash? Eats a pizza? Falls in love with a dolphin?
Kristy - lol - I made the same observation in my first post, but it hasn’t been changed. Certainly intrigues one, doesn’t it? tee hee I like your ‘alternative endings’ - “falls in love with a dolphin”! ha ha!
Jared - can you please tell us what comes after “Thomas Hayden Church” - the sentence is incomplete. Thanks!! :-)
first of all maryw, shut ur mouth u obviously are a horrible mother if you think all these things. hes 4 and if that is what you call a BIG kid than you must be a mother of 18 years old. he is NOT too young to be carried and i would carry my child as much as i wanted to. and hes 4 yrs old lets not put the kid down with the gay jokes. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay in the first place. Some of you people are disgusting ESPECIALLY MARYW.
