Confession time - I’ve been a Jolie fan since her GIA days and have followed her ever since. She has a personality that forces you to pick a side: yes/no, love/hate, left/right because she comes on strong with her desire to understand. I guess that’s why I relate to her.
I remember a while ago in the NYT Sunday Magazine (which was like the Time/Life big glossies) that they had pictures of her with her brother and they were like the IT models and someone was saying that she was the most beautiful to hit the Modeling world except she wanted to do movies. Then, GIA came along that shook everyone I knew.
The great thing about Jolie is her movies/photoshoots are so cool that I just wait for them and don’t bother with the rest of her life - that is until I heard about Maddox, and then esp. the UN work. I was glad that someone from within my generation was continuing that whole global awareness that pervaded my high-school and college years to continue this to adult life: Amnesty, WorldRefugees, Greenpeace/Wildlife Protection…
So when this whole JoliePitt mania occurred, I scoured the internet to find out where Pitt was coming from and tried to remember what Pitt’s situation was. OK, a little overprotection from a Jolie fan.

Surprise, surprise is all I have to say - either Hollywood is really a very small world or their destinies are just that tight.
- In the beginning before, internet tightened up on their individual fansites and general news, there was so much data out there that you can piece this together. Unfortunately, didn’t get to save all the articles.
- I don’t think Jolie knew about Pitt or his intentions personally until the filming and even then, I think Pitt was guarded to make this a friendly, professional relationship (as much as he tried unsuccessfully….)
- But Pitt didn’t have his eyes closed, he was totally scoping out women and shared who he thought were hot with an interviewer (too bad the interviewer didn’t share…). So he knew about Jolie who has been voted Sexiest and Hottest. He does choose his co-stars and in this case, I think he chose Jolie for the role. Several times, he’s asked and he sidesteps the answer, goes around it or ignores it.
- Also, for dating actresses, he has said in another interview that he would only date actresses since he wants someone who understands his business (I think D. Sawyer); sounds pretty sure of himself there…
- Many chance encounters, too… Anyway, that’s for another day.

As for ‘The Mexican’, this movie comes out in Fall of 2000 and in the Premiere photos, one can see Julia Roberts checking out Jen’s ring. Right after this, Julia invites Pitt to join him on the Ocean’s 11 movie (2001) which they start filming in Vegas. (Actually, this I might still have the link - there is a picture of Pitt and Jen at one of those Ocean’s 11 parties and Pitt is trying to console a drunken Jen who is clutching at Pitt…really sad even then!)
Unfortunately, I can’t find this article (have to scour a copy somewhere) where the Banderas and Jolie intimate scene filming was being crashed by the crew from ‘The Mexican’ set and reports of the ‘Mexican’ crew being invited to the afterparty of ‘Sin’ to poke fun at the ‘Mexican’ crew. Not sure if Pitt went; by then, Jolie and BBT were married.

If the Charles & Diana’s wedding was the wedding of the century, then the divorce of Brad & Jen is turning into the divorce of the century.
People, get hold of yourselves. It has almost been two years since Aniston filed for divorce. Move on. Get a life. It has long been OVER. Get a grip. Get a life.
Everybody has moved on,except for a few pathetic so-called fans!

Well, it seems no news is good news for the Jolie-Pitts, but it seems to be driving all of you MAD. I hope we don’t hear a peep from or about them until February 25th. They deserve a break and you guys should take one too. Some of the things written on here are ridiculous. Threatening to rape and kill someone? WTF? I don’t want to even talk about the continued presence of Jennifer Aniston in everythings that has to do with the Jolie-Pitts. Oh well. Life goes on. You guys be easy.

Hey websurfer, great info there! I never realized the parallels between Original Sin and The Mexican.

I agree in the early days of the internet info was much easier to access, and insiders were indeed much more vocal and loose-lipped. In the last few years it has tightened up and real inside info is harder to get, so all we get is the fake-azz tabloid fiction.

There is lots of ppl in Hollywood agreed but they all are not being held up in honor or royalty like B&A are, that is my point. And it is you ppl on these blogs & tab readers that create this. FYI It’s a blog not an assay. Don’t see you comment anyone else’s grammar .. you know why? Because you don’t like the context of mine. You have no idea what origin/ethnic background I am and might struggle with the English grammar. Again there is that mean spirit that oozes from BAMZS fans.

Since we are talking timelines, when exactly did Brad visit Angie at her house in England? The visit where he has his blond hair and those pics of he and Maddox on the dirt bike were taken. I know it was sometime in the spring of 2005, but what’s a more exact date?

Wish I could answer you. I think it’s in June 05, after MaMS Premiere which was on June 10th. I had the pictures and the dates saved, but my laptop crashed few months ago, so everything was gone.

I think I even read that he called her up and gave her a pep talk about the role, that she was unsure about the comedy angle, and he called her and assured it it would be fine and that she could pull it off.

I think he really wanted her for the role, not because as some would say, he wanted to get in her pants, I think at that point he was really just drawn to her and saw her as someone he wanted to get to know better and work with. Of course once he did get to know her better, the feelings he developed for her over the course of the year 2004 we deeper than he could have ever imagined.

It’s soooo beyond crazy how these anti-Angie folks want to keep saying Brad wasn’t divorced until Oct 05. Please. Brad and Jen separated in Jan 05. Brad was free to pursue what he wanted as of that date, and what he wanted was Angie.

I saved a few articles that I loved a bunch, esp the candid interviews - since, they interview so well.

I wish I saved the articles about their locations and crew/costar interviews…Again, didn’t realize I would need those in the future.

guli - that England shot of Pitt and Mad on the bike was around June. Also, this was funny, he had scoured all the real estate agents in London to get a cottage within a mile from her place -funny….a little obsessed or what-

Guys..I’m really glad that there are no pictures or stories about our Angie right now. I know that this silence from the paps and tabloid wont last long, but lets enjoy it while it lasts. She needs peace in her life.
I read this news ( just negative stuff )earlier that was posted on this so-called Angelina fan site and OMG their sources came from STAR and National Enq. I wrote back and lashed out on this person who made this site. I asked them why they call themselves AJ fans when their site posted negative stuff about her and above that they uses STAR and National Enq. as their source..
Well it was the last time I would visit that site…
