Brad Pitt’s First Film Was At The Drive-in
NY Times Magazine tapped Jake Paltrow, Gwyneth Paltrow’s younger brother, to shoot a short film of seven actors talking about the movies that made early impressions on them — Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Helen Mirren, Ken Watanbe, and Abbie Cornish. Watch Jake Paltrow’s short film here.
Jake Paltrow, 31, had his new film The Good Night premiere at The Sundance Film Festival last month. Big sis Gwyn stars in it alongside Penelope Cruz. The Good Night is set for a nationwide release on Sept 21. Thanks, Charla!

Best of luck in N.O. Brad and family.
Greetings from you fans.
Rest in Peace, Marcheline. Hope you guys were able to have some privacy.
Just posted on the old thread only to see the new thread alert from Missouri Fan - thanks for the heads up! And thanks Jared for the new thread. I saw the clips of Brad and Leo on the ET/Insider last night/early this morning and look forward to seeing the full interviews.
Good afternoon to all the positive posters out there celebrating our favourite family! Nice not to see any new pictures of BAMZS - means they are being left alone (for once).
Sheri: OPC *shake* shake* and Susie: RRFYL is right! Hope you both are doing well and staying warm, wherever you are!
1140 B_Bold_B_Brave_B_Free Says: Just wanted to clarify that if you were implying I might be Reality with the English Major comment - nope - simply not the case. I just logged on a bit ago and weighed in with my thoughts on the new ANS thread Jared put up, then caught up on reading this thread. I am a fan and wouldn’t question why other fans are here. End of story.
Creole: Just wanted to say thanks for posting the link to the astrological charts - great reading! It seems that Angelina and Brad came into each other’s lives at just the right time I especially liked a couple of comments about Angelina: “She is a bright light in a dark world” and “This morphing is real and not staged”. So true!
Dragonfly: Saw your comments about the Borgia family - Angelina would be amazing in a great period piece such as this, and if Brad played opposite her I certainly wouldn’t complain I read a very well researched novel about the Borgia’s last year that you would likely enjoy. It’s called ‘The Borgia Bride’ and the author is Jeanne Kalogridis.
Missouri Fan: still voting for ya! Saw your comments re: TAFTOUFA not posting anymore. That’s unfortunate as I enjoyed her comments and didn’t have a problem understanding her English, or French for that matter. One of the reasons I like this thread so much is that it draws in so many great posts from all over the world.
Stay happy and blessed BAMZS and their fans.
Hot 40somethin’ man. Lucky Angie!
In case anyone didn’t see my post about this on the previous thread, CNN is running a special on Saturday and Sunday night (around 7 pm EST I think) called ‘The Journalist and the Jihadi’. It is about Daniel Pear and the events surrounding his deathl. I don’t think I have to explain why this might be of interest to the fans here :-)
CoalHarbour- what does that shake shake thing mean you sometimes post?
Greetings from New York
Hi Jared, thanks for the new thread. =]
oops, sorry, that’s Daniel Pearl in my previous post.

Thanks for the information. I will be sure to use our DVR to watch later when Winterfest activity slows down.
Hope everyone is well…..off to a basketball game.
Thanks for the new thread! Peace to all.
#4: I see you were just waiting giddily for another thread on Brad so you can spill out your bile. Glad you could make it without too much ado. Stick around and enjoy the thread. That’s the least we can do for pathetic attention craving hounds like you.
BTW, isn’t it funny how Brad doesn’t care if he was camera ready or not for this shot? His looks still trumps a “can’t appear in public without a nose job” kind of person.
Susie - lol - that’s shaking hands in greeting. I thought a hug might be a bit presumptuous! :-)
Wow….I don’t what the heck I just did with that last post….my cut and paste really got messed up….my apologies to everyone.

#32: It’s also on HBO. Saw it last night.
Thanks Jared. Leonardo looks hot; so cute when he talks about Watership Down and King Kong
Thanks Jared.
Guli what time does the party start? Is anyone invited?
Missouri Fan
I am voting every chance I get.
and stay for the party.
Clinqua,
You are so right as usual, Angie was indeed talking to Brad.
Coalharbor- thanks, I am learning all the symbols and abreviations here. I’m going to go Tivo that Daniel Pearl story, thanks.
Hehe… I love Helen Mirren and Cate Blanchett but I think that they are being a tiny bit pretentious in describing thier first films. Maybe it’s just me but what child is first impressed by horror and Italian movies? Leos ‘King Kong, ..Bedknobs and Broomsticks’ and Brads ‘Buth Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ were more realistic I think. Or maybe it’s just because Leos choices were like mine (for years I wanted a bed like the one in Bedknobs), and I love ‘Butch Cassidy’. Funnily enough although I hate remakes I’d love to see Brad in this story - don’t know who’s good to play partner to him though.
Interesting little vingette of a movie, and on a shallow note Brads voice is the hotness. Nice find, thanks Jared, that’s why I keep checking back here.

My cable provider (here in Canada) doesn’t offer HBO :-( Lucky you! We get whatever Bravo decides to pick up from HBO, and it is usually months behind. Anyway, how was it? I’m hoping it was well put together and informative. Looking forward to ‘A Mighty Heart’ as I get the impression it focuses mainly on Marianne’s experience. I expect I’ll be lugging a bunch of Kleenex to the theatre to watch it.
CH- Is it with Anderson Cooper cuz that’s what I have in that timeslot?
Hi everybody! guli, susie, coalharbourqt! I’m trying to get some stuff done so I can spend the evening with you fine ladies! I looked to see what was happening and YIPPY! New thread! I shall return!
Oh, coalharbourqt, I’m a hugger it’s ok! lol
anyone else tired of the psuedo fans, yet?
