Brad Pitt’s First Film Was At The Drive-in
NY Times Magazine tapped Jake Paltrow, Gwyneth Paltrow’s younger brother, to shoot a short film of seven actors talking about the movies that made early impressions on them — Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Helen Mirren, Ken Watanbe, and Abbie Cornish. Jake Paltrow, 31, had his new film The Good Night premiere at The Sundance Film Festival last month. Big sis Gwyn stars in it alongside Penelope Cruz. The Good Night is set for a nationwide release on Sept 21. Thanks, Charla!

My understanding though is that they ultimately would have had to comply with it because being in contempt of a court order can result in an arrest warrant (for ANS) if not immidiately, certainly the next time they set foot in the US. I thought that the court had also ordered a DNA test of ANS to ensure that Dannielynn was in fact ANS’, and hadn’t been switched with another baby. That being said, it’s pretty obvious that they had picked the Bahamas with the idea in mind that they could harbour Dannielynn there and avoid a DNA test. Without seeing the actual Court Order and being up on California State Law it’s hard to know how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together exactly. Just my take on it from what I have heard the lawyers say in interviews and know about how court orders work etc.

Damn that Doug Liman! If I have to spent another 15 to 20 bucks on this DVD I want all of it. I’m talking every little bit of what happened behind the scenes, on screen ..heck I want details from the grip guy about this movie. I’m official addicted to anything and everything Jolie - Pitt.

Lol - I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this one :-) In his defence, a number of the people in ANS’ life that were on CNN tonight were saying that they think that he is the father and has good intentions. I would like to think that if he got Dannielynn he would not exploit her for money and would just be a good dad. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part though.

The DNA test is scheduled for the 23rd, but no one has to honor it unless the baby touches American soil, otherwise it’s jsut a piece of paper. I too think LB is a slimy attention seeking ho.

I just watched the ET interview and I feel bad for this guy. He really loved her.
CH- no no no, they do a 3 person DNA b/c that is just how they do it and also she could bring anothe baby for test but it would not match her DNA. Any court order from CA is not valid b/c CA does not have jurisdiction, also this is a Civil case not criminal and they do not prosecute many people for contempt on a civil case, this is why ANS has been in the States so much since the birth w/out bringing the baby. Until LB opens a cout case in the Bahamas then it is a worthless poece of paper.

That is exactly what I meant by them ordering a DNA of ANS too - to make sure that the baby tested was in fact hers. I realize that they didn’t bring Dannielynn with them to Florida (their only trip to the US in recent months that I’ve heard of) and of course the Court Order does not have jurisdiction in the Bahamas, but, like I said, it is POSSIBLE that they may have eventually found a way of getting it honoured by the Bahamian courts or ensuring that if the family set foot in the US that they would have to comply. Warrants for arrest can be issued for not complying with Civil court orders, and not just criminal court orders. My point is that I don’t believe that the piece of paper was as worthless as you think, or Larry would not have been in court so recently - why spend the money on a lawyer and waste your time in Court if they are in the Bahamas and can’t be touched right? He would have explored all the avenues with his lawyers in depth knowing that they were in the Bahamas. It could be that the Bahamas has an agreement with the US to assist in enforcing arrest warrants - countries do make these types of arrangements.
Anyway, it is all speculation pre-ANS’ death. My understanding is that Larry is now in the Bahamas and will be in the Bahamian Courts trying to get a Court Order for a DNA test there. I hope he gets it.

That and he is just now getting around to doing a little PR damage control re ‘diddling the co-ed,’ afterall, he and Maniston hadn’t been seen together since before that lil’ tidbit hit the news, and he was probably concerned that her fanistons had him on their sh*t list and wanted to get in a little face time with her to prove otherwise.
The thing is, that whole incident proves what a sham that entire relationship was. Maniston doesn’t care who VV diddles, never did — because if she did, Vaughn would be getting the ‘Brad Pitt’ treatment (i.e., childish grudge match) - as is, with VV she will not let pride goeth before the fall - she FINALLY, has grown a small piece of a brain, and knows it only benefits her if she does NOT start whining all over again and acting ‘hurt,’ only this time with Vaughn. Maniston knows it would only make her look like the two-time loser. So she swallows her pride, invites him to a b-day party, and makes like Vaughn is still a pal and that his infidelity doesn’t concern or have anything to do with her — consequently, she can make like it never happened in her own head, and in the media.
ohmigod, this ANS bruhaha is getting worse n worse, the latest pics of her refrigerator n then she was w/this bahaminian immigration guy in bed hugging him n stuff, i hate 2 say this but i think Anna was pimping herself w/the immigration guy n Howard was probably telling her wut 2do, i saw the Insider while ago n Howard was like crying n everything but i have NO sympathy 4 him wutsoever, regardless if his the father of the baby or not, he looks drugged up 2me n he kinda talks like Anna too just a lil bit, Howard have some kind of agenda i tell yeh, i don’t trust him at all….

Brad hosted the birthday party for JA at their Beverly Hills mansion where a large group of celebrity guests attended. That was after their January seperation. I was surprised to hear that he did that. They were very civil about things at that time. I was thinking to myself..what an amicable seperation!!
