Brad Pitt’s First Film Was At The Drive-in

NY Times Magazine tapped Jake Paltrow, Gwyneth Paltrow’s younger brother, to shoot a short film of seven actors talking about the movies that made early impressions on them — Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Helen Mirren, Ken Watanbe, and Abbie Cornish. Watch Jake Paltrow’s short film here.

Jake Paltrow, 31, had his new film The Good Night premiere at The Sundance Film Festival last month. Big sis Gwyn stars in it alongside Penelope Cruz. The Good Night is set for a nationwide release on Sept 21. Thanks, Charla!

Isabell II, JoliePitt- nothing great, it’s just an blurb on them buying a place in Berlin. I was surprised to see it b/c they have’nt talked about them in awhile. Looks like they are a week behind in their news.

Once in awhile- I guess they never released “George Wallace” for home viewing. I’m sure those are bootlegged copies. I guess we’ll have to wait for it to play again. Someone said it was a TNT channel version, if that’s right we could ask them to play it again.

Defamer satires everyone, but it’s usually done with with wit and good writing, especially the comments, so it’s hard to take genuine offense. I don’t know what their exact Hollywood connections are, but there seems to be a lot of insider stuff and they seem to take particular delight in needling writers.

Anyway, that particular ‘Brangelina’ bit is pretty neutral-it’s just a small blurb about them buying a Berlin apartment. There was one cute comment, something like “Talk about starting a Master Race…”

You know what, I went to see A. Leibovitz’s collection down here in sd and there was a clip showing those images (Madd palying with his mom) & at the same time AL was emphasizing the word FAMILY :-)

Angelah- thanks, I love her. My one criticism is that I didn’t think the pics from AJ’s recent Vogue were that great or unique. The one I really liked was of her and Brad on the motocycle, the others pics were not quite her caliber. I was dissapointed.

This is the reason why I think the _ was out of her mind, not taking care of this fine piece of a s s, err, I mean, fine species of a man. If I woke up to this every morning I will be on my bended knees, doing a Wayne’s World kind of thing, “I’M NOT WORTHY. I’M NOT WORTHY”, especially if I looked like HER. But being with Brad, and being like the moon who reflected the sun, it got to her head, and she started thinking that SHE was the hot one, not him. She even made it a point in one interview to denigrate Brad, that to her he was not the sexiest man alive but the one who has to take out the garbage.

I hope that Angelina does not start taking this for granted, we all know how familiarity breeds contempt.
