A private foundation is a non profit organization which falls under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue code.

Every non profit organization has to file a tax return annually detailing all the revenue, earnings and expenses. The reporting of the accounting on the tax return is very similar to the reporting of a corporate tax return. The only difference is the tax treatment of income.

So, the JoliePitt foundation, has to file a tax return, giving the accounting of income and expenses, etc. Since the 4M you are talking about is a high profile transaction, the IRS is not that dumb as not to examine the tax return carefully. In other words, IRS is the watchdog. There is no “monkeying” around on that.

If you dont know enough about fund accounting, you should read up on it. On the tax return, you have to list the expense. Expenses have to be legitimate, and not every expense is deductible.

If the money is sitting in the bank account of the foundation, that money belongs to the foundation. It is NOT personal money of Angie/Brad.

All the money in the foundation has to be used for non-profit purposes. If you deviate from that, you can LOSE THAT NON PROFIT STATUS.

After receiving e-mails and presumably phone calls about BOR’s insensitive remarks about Shawn Hornbeck having “fun” during his four year captivity (we now know that he was raped numerous times). John Walsh will now now be the keynote speaker at the fund raising event.

OMG, these bitter dumped women are ugly. 20/20 just showed some of these dumped women who hate men and will do anything to hurt them. The vile, dumped, will not move on Jennifer clones are real. My goodness, what a misereable life to live with such anger, hate and bitterness.

I will learn to ignore them here because their psyche seem so fragile and they do not really have a grasp on reality.
So for them Brad represents that man that dumped them, and Angie is the picture of the woman that took their man.

Most of the posters here have always said that these women are ugly, their spokesperson tonight really is ugly both on the inside and the outside. I wonder who the poor man that to live with that mess.
