Barack Obama: ‘I’m Running For President’
“The time for that politics is over. Itis through. It’s time to turn the page.”
Illinois Senator Barack Obama seeks to become the first black president of The United States. He formally announced this morning that he’s entering the presidential race at the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill.
Said Obama: “We can build a more hopeful America. And that is why, in the shadow of the Old State Capitol, where Lincoln once called on a divided house to stand together, where common hopes and common dreams still live, I stand before you today to announce my candidacy for president of the United States.”
Obama trails in most national polls only to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Yeah, doesn’t he know how things work. It’s like with people getting the right to vote back in the day. First white women got the right to vote and then eventually blacks. That’s how it’ll work with the presidency too. One day a white woman will take office and then eventually in the future a black dude. It all just depends whether the conservative red necks who hold the majority of the votes are more racist than they are misogynistic.
CONDOLEEZZA 4 PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Senator Obama, you’ll get my vote!!! May you have a successful run for the White House.

Those are not my comments. So wrong to use another person’s name. Speak for yourself.
Is that you Fug Face Maniston who is copying names? Seems to happen on blogs you frequent.
Isn’t it funny: the man is born of a white mother and has a black father yet when it comes to politics, almost all of you here decided he was “black”.
He is. But isn’t he equally white as well?
Food for thought?
Obama has my vote all the way.
i bet in 1962, people would have thought a black secretary of state would be unheard of or a black female billionaire or a black golf champion.
it is all a matter of time.
ignorance cannot last forever.
i bet in 1962, it would have been considered impossible to have a black secretary of state, a black female billionaire, a black un rep, a black golf champion.
it is a matter of time.
ignorance cannot last forever.
there will be a black president and a female president. heck, obama’s daughters might be the first black female president, one day.
oh one more thing: when black people tell us racism exists, we tell them stop playing the race card yet the fact that so many doubt obama can be president because he is “black” speaks to the fact that racism is alive an well in america.
but in time, it will happen. he has my vote!
if he win then i believe that he might be the anti christ.believe me especially if he gets assainated…because the good book does say he will live…and if thats the case then those who we call “the power to be”are apart of the same agenda of a one world government
I like that you are running for president and I hope you win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Obama what where you before you decided to run for president?
I think it’s great to have a man of color run for President and is not afraid of saying how us African Americans have to take responsibly for raising our family’s and uplifting there spirit.
