But again, not too much cr*p about that — but let Braddy look a little tired, or with more wrinkles, or a slight frown, or a slight paunch — and everybody and his uncle would chime “Oh, he’s old, he’s ugly, he’s gone down.”

I haven’t seen George Wallace either but I’ve seen Cyborg 2 and Women of the West (I think that’s the title) and Foxfire even. Also, just saw her on Hackers again recently. She has a different look in every movie and that’s what I really like about her; she’s like a doll you get to dress up in different clothes and hairstyle of any era and she comes out real and believable all the time. Her looks really transcend the ordinary. So does Brad, btw. I’d love to see him as a swashbuckling nobleman or in a Buck Rogers type of thing. I bet he looks good in a uniform.

#65: Hello, Briseis: I used to like Mel Gibson too. In the Year of Living Dangerously, did you see that Bembol Rocco was in it? That was so long ago, wasn’t it? Was never into Richard Gere for some reason nor Kevin Costner. But talking about the old ones, I was so into Clint Eastwood when he was into spaghetti western and Dirty Harry up to his Unforgiven days. Now, he’s gone soft in his dotage and just can’t dredge up that old feeling. I’d rather have Sean Connery who is much older but still elegant even if bald.

Most young actors are not aging as well as the old ones. They are already getting hit by the blight in their late twenties or early thirties (i.e. Jude Law, Heath Ledger).
There’s really not that many out there the likes of Brad, George or even Tom Cruise in terms of staying power or just plain power. I kinda like Ryan Philippe (sp?) in the looks and acting department. He needed to get out of Reese’s shadow and I think that’s what contributed to their marriage’s demise. Of course, I love me some Gerard (Butler). He’s another one who’s not ready to lose his hair yet and can grow old and still be charismatic. I have a feeling that diCaprio will have to battle some weight problem as he ages so he’ll have to watch it.

Come to think of it, Brad has not had a “E True Hollywood Story about him that I can remember, nor Inside the Actor’s Studio, nor A biography channel bio on him, nor a MTV “Diary of” about him, nor a REELZ channel What It Takes” (that may be coming though). Brad seems to have very tight control on what goes out about him.

I know that the Pittcenter has just about everything interview about Brad. Maybe someone can produce a youtube version of his life using pittcenter clips. Any budding producers out there? LOL!! Beat those other channels to the punch. I think I might take a crack at putting it together. I’ll let you all know if I do it.

Actually, Brad did have an A & E Biography. I remember seeing it in 2005; it was toward the end of the year and it was paired with Angelina’s. Seeing that Biography made me turn against Ted C.. Ted C. participated in it, saying that the writing was on the wall for Brad and ___ ages ago, referring to the way that they acted at parties; both would split up– Brad would go and socialize with people, while ___ headed toward the bar. It pissed me off that he would acknowledge the rift in the doc but instigated ___ supporters by insinuating that Angelina was the reason everything fell apart.

YouTube canceled la_miga’s channel. They took down all her vids about Brad and she will not be able to upload them again.

Apparently the publicity given to her here at JJ made her one of the first targets at YouTube. Just like it happened with pittimpressions, when they asked them to take down the pics of Z at the beach.

It is scary to even think who is reading this and what the consequences are.

Just got back from work. Took a peek at the previous thread earlier so I did not read about the G. Wallace tv you were talking about.

Yes, I had seen the tv. movie because we liked G. Sinise esp. my hubby.
AJ was so convincing as a politician wife. She was I think in her early 20s (1997). C. Wallace( wife) must be in her 40’s in this story. AJ was so good in portraying a southern socialite that she won the GG for that role. Of course GIA followed.

It was not a popular tv movie because of G. Wallace being a southern segregationist politician. While gov. of Alabama, he blocked the attendance of black students at the state university. I think RFK had to intervene.

I don’t know if it is now on dvd but the libraries do have vhs copies.
Trust me guys, this is also a history lesson.

The guys that started YouTube sold it for a LOT of money to Google. And it is deja vu, remember napster? YouTube has the same copyright problems that napster had, napster was bought by Bertelsmann and ITunes came after that and stole the market.
Chances are that the same thing will happen to YouTube, it will be a pay per view or download site, or a new one will take its place.

La_miga is very sad, especially since she worked so hard to find the clips and upload them in such a short time. And it is not fair that she was targeted, because there are so many people uploading entire movies there and their accounts haven’t been targeted. But the difference is that la_miga got publicity here, that’s why her channel was taken down so quickly.

I emailed her and told her how sorry I was.

Memo to YouTube: Viacom wants its MTV. And Daily Show. And SpongeBob.

For the second time in four months, Viacom has demanded that the video-sharing site remove all content from its networks, including MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, VH1, CMT, Spike TV and BET, an estimated 100,000 clips total, after licensing talks broke down.

“It has become clear that YouTube is unwilling to come to a fair market agreement that would make Viacom content available to YouTube users,” Viacom said in a statement. “YouTube and [parent company] Google retain all of the revenue generated from this practice, without extending fair compensation to the people who have expended all of the effort and cost to create it.”

Under federal law, YouTube can avoid being held legally accountable for any illicit video if it abides by such requests, which it began doing—albeit slowly—early Friday.

“We take copyright issues very seriously,” YouTube said in a statement. “We prohibit users from uploading infringing material, and we cooperate with all copyright holders to identify and promptly remove infringing content as soon as we are officially notified.

“It’s unfortunate that Viacom will no longer be able to benefit from YouTube’s passionate audience, which has helped to promote many of Viacom’s shows.”

In October, at the behest of Viacom, YouTube removed thousands of videos. A few days later, after a public outcry, Viacom clarified its position and said YouTube could keep up short clips from Comedy Central shows, but not entire episodes.

That touched off negotiations between Viacom and Google, which bought YouTube last year for a whopping $1.65 billion, to work out a licensing deal to allow Viacom’s copyrighted material on the Website.

However, the talks began to falter when YouTube failed to meet Viacom’s Jan. 1 deadline to create filters to prevent illegal Viacom video from being viewed.

Despite YouTube’s promise to remove illicit videos, as of Friday afternoon clips from Comedy Central hits like The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and South Park were still viewable, as were segments from MTV’s teen dating show Next, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and VH1’s Storytellers.

Of course, Viacom’s bluster comes with a whiff of gamesmanship. Last month, the company issued a press release touting Acceptable TV, a competing video-sharing site. By pressuring Google, the company may simply be angling for a better position at the bargaining table.

And although Viacom is bickering with Google and YouTube, it hasn’t entirely cut business ties. MTV Networks has a revenue-sharing arrangement with Google Video to showcase clips from its channels.

While Viacom has, for the time being at least, pulled the plug on a YouTube deal, the video purveyor emphasized Friday that it will continue “to work with content partners both large and small to provide them with a platform to promote their content and engage and grow their audiences.”

YouTube already has content deals with CBS, NBC, Fox, Universal Music and Warner Music. However, those arrangements aren’t exactly hitch free.

Last month, Fox served YouTube with a subpoena seeking the identity of a YouTuber who allegedly posted the four-hour season debut of 24 before its network and DVD premieres. The same user also was accused of putting up a dozen episodes of Fox’s Simpsons. YouTube complied with the order.

as for angie, she caught my attention through her humanitarian work in 2003 and during MADDOX adoption. something about her drawn me to her and i find that she’s one of the most genuine people that most people TOTALLY have misconceptions over. she is so much more than most people in hollywood have and that is her kind-hearted and a wonderful mother to MADDOX!!!

the minute i found brad and angie hook up, i couldn’t be happier, but to think what an amazing and full packaged two people and they are going to bring up the most beautiful family together!!!

If Hollywood’s increasing obsession with really bad direct-to-DVD sequels wasn’t bad enough, we may be witnessing the start of yet another disturbing home video trend. Last week we brought you word that Oliver Stone’s failed epic Alexander would be recut for the third time and released on DVD. Now it looks like Troy is getting the redo treatment. Variety says Warner Home Video has shelled out a cool million for a new cut of Wolfgang Peterson’s critically crapped on Trojan epic. If at first you don’t succeed, try, and try, and try, and try again.

Peterson has reportedly spent three months slaving away on a new version of the film. What’s he been doing? Apparently adding more sex and violence. I guess that also means more of Brad Pitt’s naked man-ass. The ladies should love that. In total he’s inserting nearly 30 minutes of new footage into Troy, a movie which was already bashed for being much too long when clocking in at only 162 minutes. Now it’s a bladder busting 200 minutes, and somehow that’s supposed to make the thing better. I don’t get it.

Peterson insists, “This is more the film I wanted it to be. It’s very violent, but that’s Homer and The Iliad.” The original film was already pretty gritty. I’m all for taking it further, but I’m not sure if the amount of violence in Troy ever figured in as one of the main problems people had with it. But Wolfgang says time constraints and ratings pressures were to blame for the failure of the original movie. It wouldn’t be the first time that a filmmaker’s vision has been twisted by the difficulty of navigating the Hollywood system. Now Peterson says he has the time to do what he wants. “The sword is not hanging over your head,” he tells Daily Variety. “You can give it more time to breathe.”

I will say this for Troy. Unlike Alexander it’s not unredeemable. Troy is not the epically bad, unforgivably failed disaster that Oliver Stone’s boy conqueror movie was. Troy works in spots, and sports some pretty great performances from actors like Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Peter O’Toole, and Brad Pitt’s muscles.

There is some small hope for Troy. It really might be possible to make it better. I’m willing to give Peterson one more shot. But only one more. Let’s stay away from make Oliver Stone’s idiotic cutting, re-releasing, re-cutting, and re-releasing of Alexander the norm.

Troy Recut is getting a limited theatrical release in Germany this March, but here in the United States expect it to go straight to DVD.

I have the George Wallace movie in VHS. Angelina as usual is superb, as far as acting. She sang one country music in this movie. The good part of this movie was when Gary Senise (the actor that appear as George Wallace) told her he does not want her anymore and told her to get out of his house and she started crying in fact, like almost wailing, it was good. Also, the part when supposedly George Wallace was shot. Her acting was very good also on that part. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think she was nominated Golden Globe best actress on this one.

Gitane and AG are around…just busy with work and life. Mmom pops by every now and again. I believe Guli may be taking a little break or she’s just busy with real life.

The truth is, a lot of us long-timers are burned out and that’s why you see less and less of us. A lot of us have been around battling the trolls and Fanistons on Jared’s for almost 2 years. We put up with a lot of crap, including people stealing our identities and posting vile comments, and we’re just sick of the grind. We’re also sick of Jared’s unwillingness to ban people permanently when they’re known troublemakers. I understand his reluctance because it’s hard to do when people are using IP masking programs to hide their identity, but still, the people who aren’t using those types of programs are allowed back on to wreak more havoc and it’s just gotten old and boring. We’re all still big Brad & Angie fans, but sifting through the bullshit here is getting harder and harder to do.

The newbies come here and want to discuss things that we dissected and put under the microscope eons ago and really, it’s been 2 years, so you kind of start to lose interest in constantly pointing out the lies from the facts. At one point we even joked that we should come up with a list of facts about Brad & Angie that dispels the rumors and lies and post it at the start of every thread just to save ourselves from having to repeat it ad nauseum EVERY DAMNED DAY. If I’m going to have to repeat the same things multiple times a day, then I want to get paid for it and call it my JOB, not my hobby.

So yeah…the old regulars don’t come around as much as we used to and it’ll probably get to the point where those of us in the e-mail group stop posting altogether and some of you newbies will be the new “old regulars”. So goes the march of time…

This has been my first time today to get on the internet. Nice buttox, darn Brad, luck Angie. I am so behind on treads. I am going to have much fun tonight. One of the most intelligent person posting here lately is coalharbourqt… consistently good posts, friendly and brings alot of knowledge to the site. You guys act like you discovered electricity! For the love of God, this is just a fanclub in cyberspace!
Can’t you keep up with her? She most definately brings out the INTELLIGENT in “intelligent discussions”. Beats bringing up the ex Mrs. Pitt at every turn, like some of the old timers…..like Clini…..right?

That’s not the case at all. We still love BAMZS. We’re just sick of the Fanistons and trolls and repeating ourselves. It’s like spitting in the wind. Some people don’t want to believe the truth and you can’t change their minds, so after nearly 2 years of butting your head you get sick of it. A lot of the regulars that were mentioned by the other poster are in our e-mail group. We talk about BAMZS all the time…without the trolls and the Fanistons calling Brad a cheater and Angie a ho. You come on here EVERY DAY FOR A YEAR OR TWO and then let me know if you still want to repeat the same things everyday to the same trolls. Sooner or later you realize there’s no point to it.

And for the person who said they have no beef with Jared. We don’t have a beef with Jared. It’s his site. He can do what he wants. But if he loses his long-time bloggers because we’re tired of the cr#p that he allows here, then he has to accept that as part of his ownership as well. We don’t fault Jared. He’s in business to make money. He’s got a bottom line to worry about and we’ve got other options and other avenues of information available to us. Most of us still come by here to check out the pictures, but we’re not going to be posting as frequently as we used to because frankly we’re sick of having to defend the same things over and over again. Doesn’t it amaze anyone else that after almost 2 years there are still X supporters out there who care so damned much what Brad is doing with his life now? You’d think they’d be happy he was out of their idol’s life. Instead they STILL come here and act like Brad kicked their dog and Angie stole their favorite blue sweater. It’s ridiculous.

I am not the enemy, nor do I come here for friendship necessarily. There is alot of information here that I like to read about the JP’s.

And, lately, like I said before, coalharbourqt is a sane and sound and very informed voice here lately and look forward to reading her posts.

Just read what she wrote, and you will see what I mean. I am probably her biggest fan for the amount of strong information she brings to this site.

I believe the discussion on the topic is not happening the first time, and if my memory serves correct, your name was one of the parties in the discussion. I would like to bring your attention to two points: 1. Not each and every poster participating in the threads regularly is a member of the so-called private group 2. The old-regulars, whom you seem to be not missing if they quit posting, are the source of a wealth of archival information on JPs when an inconsistent, unfair or plain fake news appear. One can only appreciate the calibration of the news correction by the regular posters here.

I’m not going anywhere for long anyway. I AM going on a trip for 10 days (if the snow doesn’t ground the plane!) but I’ll be back. I’m hooked. Not just on the BAMZS family, but all the wonderful posters here. I’m not sure I’m going to be happy without my fixes from Cliniqua, Amaya, Passing Through, African Girl and all the newbies as well. Probably the last thing I do before I depart on Thursday will be to vote for MF. The past two weeks have just been a bear here in central NY. It’s cold in the computer corner, and for some odd reason, all I want to do is sleep! :lol:

Well as a newbie…I say THANK YOU to all you long-timers for laying down the foundation for a great blog site, defending BAMZS, and getting rid of as many haters as you have.

#129, the real tita…Thanks for mentioning Gerard Butler. I have been swooning for him since seeing DEAR FRANKIE, a wonderful movie. He was beautiful and perfect. I think he is growing on people and finally getting some recognition, but slowly. My question about the possibility he was one of the lovers AJ talked of during her single days has gone unanswered. Don’t even know if he is married. Would love to know more about him.

Here is a suggestions…feel free to throw eggs…

- those who come on here and are upset at the old-timers - please note by hanging here 1-2 yrs, these folks have come to “know” each other. 1-2 yrs on here is bound to create that.

- also note the same old-timers came on here and dissected everything as we know it now…for 1-2 yrs. Can you imagine the size of Jared’s archives. There is a reason why his site crashed several times. Discussions discussions discussion for 1-2 yrs!

- I don’t think PT is against new comers per se. At least I didn’t pick that up from her post. She just fed up with the same old same old…2 yrs after the divorce.

All in all, everyone is welcome but maybe if we stick on the current - Brad, Angelina and family then everything will be fine. Which I think for the most part, most of us here(old-timers or newbies) do and we even remind each other of that..until…a faniston comes and bash Brad or Angelina and somehow the regulars loose cool and the thread takes a turn for the wrong direction(the past and bashing).

Remember, a typical faniston trend is to wait for a new thread then log on and bash Brad, Angelina or the kids. The goal is to make the thread negative from the get go and this in turn rile the regulars. Most of these early bashers have names we’ve never heard of therefore we are wary of them. Thus, the *old-timers* vs *newcomers* camps.

Like Coolharbourqt said, all you newbies, try to look at the problem from both sides. Yes, you have a point of feeling on the outside but so do the regulars have a point of getting tired of the ubiquitous faniston and talking about the past again and again.

Lol….we don’t feel less passionate about Bamzs., no we’re just tired of going through the same thing…..

JA is suffering - No she’s not (No….really, she isn’t)

After two years, it gets really, really, really old. Besides, you have to understand that we started post at a time when Bamzs love’s story was just beginning (the eye of the storm, is what I call it) So we went through the worst of the worst. What you guys read here now is child’s play compared to what we used to deal with. I think we’re at a point where it’s like “If you’ve survived the Craziness of 2005-2006 …nothing, absolutely nothing can faze you” I mean we had a demented poster by the name of “Hadicapped Kid/STD Baby” who eat, slept, dreamt and breath Bamz(s). She’d go on and on about the baby being handicapped on account of how the relationship started (I kid you not) or how she (they) hoped AJ had a miscarriage because having BP’s baby will hurt “Jen” (again, I kid you not). Back then, every third post was a vile post about the JPs. Oh man, Jared was working round the clock deleting these nasty posts wishing the JPs dead, burned, crashed, eaten alive by African Tigers (very imaginative, no?). Given a choice, I’d take discussions on who the next mayor of Bamzsville is over those vile posts. By the way, those discussions (like the Fanfics, the fake phone convos) were a way to infuse some fun into what was becoming a tedious hobby. We may not be posting but believe me, we are lurking….we are have no choice, this is JJ and we are ADDICTED….lol.

Alright, I don’t get your post. Where is the resentment coming from? Who said anything about disliking the newbies? I strongly suggest you re-read PT’s post and try to understand what she’s saying.

Why, Passing Through, I’m here! Lately I can only dip in and out but I’ll always come back to the BAMSZ threads on JJ. By the way, I work in a school district and JJ is one of the few celebrity sites that isn’t blocked when you log on at work. I think that’s a credit to him.

All I have to say is that I love this blog. The first blog that I can upon was PH and the vile and racist things that were say on that blog made my skin crawl.

Someone had mention JustJared so I run over and just lurked for a long time. I want to get the lay of the land, so to speak. And I read such brilliant posts and there was family feel to blog and I loved it. So finally decided it was time to come out of lurking and post.

I was just thinking about you. I was reading a post by some person I can’t remember their name now and I could have sworn she was trying to channel MOUSE. Sadly, hers was real.

Goodness, I looooved Mouse (I was mouse fan) I can’t stop laughing everytime I remember her antics. My fav - Mouse taking dance clasess in the middle of the night…with the cops almost arresting her. Lmao…Mouse is definately a JJ classic.
