Gosh. Looks like I missed a lot last night. When I signed off, the discussion was centred around old timers, newbies and lurkers. Hogwash was unreal! What is it about this group makes others want to divide and silence us.

I don’t know how much Angelina made. I’m sure it was somewhere between 12 -20 million. The trade papers have been wrong about salaries before. I don’t remember the producers of MMS saying how much Angelina or Brad made. So, I have no issues when some say she made 15 0r 20 million. None of us have seen the actual contract.

To the newbies that post here at JJ’s: please keep it up. As one of the old regulars who posts sporadically, I enjoy the lurking and like reading what you have to say. I don’t mind the haters because they can be just put on ignore or skipped over with no sweat.
People come and go here at JJ’s but one thing is certain, we gravitate here because we are very much interested with anything BAMSZ. Don’t be discouraged by the naysayers or by a few misplaced words from some. This site is for every one, non-fans included. We welcome anyone’s opinion and don’t care if their are errors in grammar or spelling.
The more the merrier so let’s mix it up folks. Mingle, mingle and have a good time.

Wow, apparently this thread was pretty eventful last night and this morning!
The Hogwash v. Cliniqua thing is funny. As other people pointed out, there are other Cliniquas out there. If this myspace dude has ever met/ known about an African-American woman named Cliniqua, and if as he confesses he wants to be a black woman, then it’s entirely plausible that he is using the Cliniqua moniker to emulate the persona he desperately wants to have and doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the same Cliniqua here. At any rate, it doesn’t matter to me whether Cliniqua or anyone else is a man/woman or black/white/yellow/red or green.

Oopsy doodle… I thought today was Valentine’s Day, not Groundhog’s Day!! Didn’t we live through this story before, except, Angelina was the one using the computer on the QT to email Colin Farrell and Brad was the one who caught her? Wasn’t it also during a stressful time (during Angelina’s pregnancy) and while Brad and Angelina were out of town (Paris)? The only difference was that the Enquirer published that story last year.
Poor Brad… searched the internet to see if ___’s nose is less Telly-like. (not Savales, but Sesame Street)
Poor L & S… if they’ve waited a week, they could’ve had the ‘Brad, trolling the ‘net to see topless ___ pics’ story– a more salicious bit of tabloid cr@p!!

Angelina Jolie doesn’t make anyone feel better about themselves; Angelina Jolie makes us feel poor and ugly and unadventurous as she climbs into the cockpit of her plane to master flying on her way to yet another continent to save more babies. Also, she is with Brad Pitt.
But Anna, with her trans-fats-soaked body and her ear-splitting whine, her entitled demands and her small-mindedness, embodied the worst parts of the stereotypical Ugly America, and we got to feel superior and above it all.

I just finished watching “The Way We Were”. Why don’t they make movies like that anymore?
I hope someday Angelina will star in a romanic movie. Brad I doubt would ever do a regular romance/romantic comedy movie. There always has to be a twist like is he is Death (Meet Joe Black) or in CCOBB where he will age backwards.

I was just a lurker then, but I remember that one evening there were all these haters posting. malibumom told them she knew who they were and they’d better stop before she revealed it. Apparently one of them used a name that was linked to _’s company (which was not a well known fact).
All of a sudden they all stopped - just like that and there was a big debate about whether these posters were who malibumom thought they were. I missed a lot of it because the old regulars were talking amongst themselves on the e-mail. But I always believed malibumom because I have found her posts to be mature, well researched and well thought out.
Maybe one of the old regulars know a bit more.
All this slang “lurker” , “newbie” “hater” makes my husband laugh when I talk to him about this blogsite. He honestly thinks I’ve gone bonkers! :)

LOL!! I did the same thing in Italy :) Not to mention I was with my newly-wed husband. I got into a very scary car accident on the Italian Riviera, with several crazy Italian drivers passing me from both sides. I got disoriented and the next thing I knew, I was over-conpensating and lost the control of my car. My husband woke up and held the wheels but still I crashed into the side–the mountain side–since the other side was the cliff down the sea!! I totally understood why Grace Kelly got killed around there. Anyway two very angry Italian policemen came, and oh boy. Those are the most beautiful male specimen I had ever seen. I think my mouth was open in awe LOL! Dark, dark hair coiffed to perfection, tight, tight trousers and killer shades. They assumed my husband was the driver and refused to believe I, “a woman” was driving. When my French husband finally managed to keep flipping his arms and Italized his French, they finally understood and said, “Ohhh, La Donna, La Donna!” (”Of course women will have accidents”) and let us go without incident LOL!!! Oh I love Italy :)

I’m not bermygirl, but I remember that incident. A certain hater was spitting evil things on this thread when Malibumom called her out, because the moniker she used was something closely associated with Brad and Jen. It was something, the public is not familiar with, only a real insider knows about it. After Malibumom’s threatening comment, these hateposts ceased immediately, and now we are convinced that the Goddess Circle, Huvane’s paid trolls or The Nose herself is trolling blogs. It’s absolutely believable she has nothing else to do between two lies.
VH1 is doing a profile on sugarmamas and Julia is one of them. She reportedly paid her husband’s wife 500,000 to speed up the divorce. Wtf?

Speaking of romantic, I recently watched the film Munich for the first time ever - as some of you recall, this is the premiere that Brad and Angie went to unbeknownst to the clueless press until the next day — they showed up after the ratzi’s had disappeared and most of the guests were inside the theater, faking them out. :-) Brad and Eric Bana (Troy) are good pals, and so are Angie and Daniel Craig - and everyone was buzzing and happy that they showed up. Anyhoo - I recall Ange was pregnant when they went to see it, and they as of yet they hadn’t announced it - she may have been 3 months if that, perhaps a little more — Angie wore a black poncho adding to the speculation.
ANYHOO….I’m so long-winded - LMAO…there is an incredibly hot scene between Eric Bana’s character and his pregnant wife. They cut to them in bed, she is shown breathing hard, and sweating slightly - at first you think she’s having the baby, then of course, they open up the shot and pan, and you see her big bare belly and legs, and Bana was right behind her — they were getting it on, in what had to be a most accurate pregnant sex position depicted onscreen yet. Wow! It was HOT. I was like Dayum Steven Spielberg!! I didn’t know you had it in you! LOL
But I just had to laugh my ass off at Brad and Angelina sitting up in that theater as that came onscreen, their pregnancy still a secret to only them, watching that scene — you know there were more than a few silent chuckles between them, and I bet Brad was taking notes. Angie too. Hahahaha! :-)
It was a great movie by the way, very powerful.

Thanks, kiki 709 - that’s the jist of what I said. I added that there was a debate and posters tried to discredit malibumom but I believed her because her posts are always well thought out, researched and intelligent.
The most telling part was that the posts stopped immediately.
#342: PT, those were the good old days ha? I miss them too. However, I don’t mind new blood and the haters can take a flying leap. Did you ever stop to think that maybe we have some of them too (old hyenas) who have continued to stalk the BAMZS and their fans through our sojourn (wouldn’t that be weird?) and are now preying on the young newcomers?
I don’t mind mixing it up. We’ve had disagreements ourselves (heh, politics!). I’m just lazy when it comes to arguing because what would be the point if we are never to move from our chosen positions anyway. Though it is tiresome having to defend and butt heads with the enemy, one thing we will continue to be are all faithful fans of the BAMZS. We’ve seen them through the are they or aren’t they days to the birth of Shiloh. And even though we love to squabble even amongst ourselves,in the end, we’ll still be coming at JJ’s to congregate. Hah, maybe one day we’ll have a reunion. We of the old guards should welcome the infusion of new blood.

Everytime I read your post about your boys I get misty eyes.
I raised 2 wonderful boys, my only kids, now grown up . They live far , but call almost daily. As long as they’re happy , I am OK.

Btw, bermygirl, I’ve learned new terms since being on JJ too like trolls and lurkdom and all sorts of nicknames for JA. I don’t even tell my boyfriend about reading and posting on this site since I would rather not have him think I’ve gone bonkers :) Then again he spends quite a bit of time on fark so I guess I can say he’s got his own cyber watercooler and I have mine :)

The newbies can take up the fight until they get worn out and then they’ll pass the baton back to the old guard again who hopefully have been refreshed from the break they’ve taken from JJ. I like the cyclical efficiency of it all. This way, the fortress is always guarded and defended :P
