#65: Hello, Briseis: I used to like Mel Gibson too. In the Year of Living Dangerously, did you see that Bembol Rocco was in it? That was so long ago, wasn’t it? Was never into Richard Gere for some reason nor Kevin Costner. But talking about the old ones, I was so into Clint Eastwood when he was into spaghetti western and Dirty Harry up to his Unforgiven days. Now, he’s gone soft in his dotage and just can’t dredge up that old feeling. I’d rather have Sean Connery who is much older but still elegant even if bald.
Most young actors are not aging as well as the old ones. They are already getting hit by the blight in their late twenties or early thirties (i.e. Jude Law, Heath Ledger).
There’s really not that many out there the likes of Brad, George or even Tom Cruise in terms of staying power or just plain power. I kinda like Ryan Philippe (sp?) in the looks and acting department. He needed to get out of Reese’s shadow and I think that’s what contributed to their marriage’s demise. Of course, I love me some Gerard (Butler). He’s another one who’s not ready to lose his hair yet and can grow old and still be charismatic. I have a feeling that diCaprio will have to battle some weight problem as he ages so he’ll have to watch it.

Come to think of it, Brad has not had a “E True Hollywood Story about him that I can remember, nor Inside the Actor’s Studio, nor A biography channel bio on him, nor a MTV “Diary of” about him, nor a REELZ channel What It Takes” (that may be coming though). Brad seems to have very tight control on what goes out about him.
I know that the Pittcenter has just about everything interview about Brad. Maybe someone can produce a youtube version of his life using pittcenter clips. Any budding producers out there? LOL!! Beat those other channels to the punch. I think I might take a crack at putting it together. I’ll let you all know if I do it.

I’m doing my doctoral thesis on RESTALYnnifer ManistoNOSEJOBopolous….it concerns the plight of the narcissistic passive aggressive type B personality. They are destined to be unhappy in their personal lives because they have a distorted self-image. On the one hand issues of low self-esteem plague them while simultaneous issues of extreme self-absorption and delusion are operating in tandem. They are quite fascinating in that, in plain speaking terms, they’re fugly people who know they’re fug but who desperately want to be the sh*t - and so they desperately try to ACT like the sh*t, much to the annoyance of the masses.

Check out that look of utter contentment and happiness on Brad’s face. He had just split with Maniston and knew Angelina was on the horizon. That face is the face of ONE HAPPY (and hot as hell) DUDE.

Interesting…Is it because he has that much power or is it because up until this point, he wasn’t really interesting? I know that I probably wouldn’t have watched a segment on him a couple of years back. X was boring and such a dead weight that she dragged him down and his image did suffer as a result.

Actually, Brad did have an A & E Biography. I remember seeing it in 2005; it was toward the end of the year and it was paired with Angelina’s. Seeing that Biography made me turn against Ted C.. Ted C. participated in it, saying that the writing was on the wall for Brad and ___ ages ago, referring to the way that they acted at parties; both would split up– Brad would go and socialize with people, while ___ headed toward the bar. It pissed me off that he would acknowledge the rift in the doc but instigated ___ supporters by insinuating that Angelina was the reason everything fell apart.

YouTube canceled la_miga’s channel. They took down all her vids about Brad and she will not be able to upload them again.
Apparently the publicity given to her here at JJ made her one of the first targets at YouTube. Just like it happened with pittimpressions, when they asked them to take down the pics of Z at the beach.
