Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s nude scenes are continuing to ruffle feathers. Daniel, 17, exposes his bare buttocks in this new promo of for classic stage play Equus.
If you want to see Daniel Radcliffe nude for a full 10 minutes in one disturbing sexual experience, Equus previews tonight at the Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End. Opens on Feb. 27.

Good for Daniel for finding a role that will challenge him and allow him to grow as an actor after years of playing an adolescent wizard. This play clearly isn’t for children so I don’t see what all the fuss is about. North Americans can be so prudish about artistic nudity. Hopefully we are becoming more open minded.
It’s the dumb ho’s shaking their asses in rap videos that objectifies and degrades women, not to mention glamorizing the stripper lifestyle - and I’m much more offended by that garbage than nudity in play.

I totally agree with Lurking. Americans are too uptight about nudity and sex. I lived in Europe for eight years and they are not as uptight. Get over it; if you don’t want to see don’t go. He look YUMMY.
The problem I have is that every publicity photo I have seen for the play features him nude. If he is only nude for 10 minutes, then why do all of the publicity photos have him naked. Its like thats what is being used to bring people into the theater. Granted the boy is only 17 and it seems highly inappropriate to me, but that is just my opinion (being for North America and all).
I agree. Its a desperate attempt to free himself once and for all of his H P alter-ego. The Mark Hamill curse is hauntingly near and he’s unwisely chosen the sex- and-nudity escape route. May appear to work for a short time but this solution always backfires in the end. His image will be simply Harry the nude. What then? Professional obscurity?

I am very proud of Daniel showing that he is a very talented actor and can take on any role that comes he way. I’m a Harry Potter fan and I think him doing something like this just proves how well of an actor he his. Thank you Daniel for showing us you got what it takes.

Dan’s problem is that he is too short to become a male movie star. You need to be near 6 feet tall and he isn’t close to that. He will be able to do only odd, character roles. No career as a star.
Why are people being so hard on Dan in this play, it’s acting, and if you didn’t want your kids to see him naked then why did you bring them? Please don’t punish the Harry Potter movies!!! I still love Dan and the Harry potter series!! Peace&LOVE
I think that it’s great that he wants to this play. He was younger when he started as Harry Potter and now he is pretty much an adult and wants to be viewed as one, not just little Harry Potter. I wish i could go and see the play but since I’m in America I don’t see that happening to soon, but I do agree with some of the other posts about American’s being to up tight. It’s just a body, everyone has one and it shouldn’t be shameful to show it.
