All I’m going to say to this post is that Angie is a big girl. She personally CHOSE/CHOOSES to talk about Brad and her feelings for him. She has ALWAYS been honest and I like that she is not going to start changing just because she’s getting a bad rap. She already tried to have a PR person and it wasn’t for her. Angie has ALWAYS had critics in her life, this is no different. Whatever Brad chooses to talk about is his right to do, just as it’s Angie’s right to talk about what she wants to. For me, I love them both and whatever they want to say or not say is up to them.

Brad’s PR have been working hard to establish him as an entity different from Brangelina. All the interviews he has given has been about his roles and his production company. The most personal he ever gets is talking about his children. For once I wish Angelina had a PR person to advise her and keep the interviewer from asking about Brad, maybe she really need to be saved from her honesty.

True, he has been by her side through it all, but also interesting that all the promotions he has done he have never been vocal about his feelings for Angie, meanwhile she has told the world how she loves him, and he was the one that was married and Angelina has been slammed for the demise of that marriage.

You can slam me all you want but this is the point of view of a fan, I just feel that Angie has borne the brunt of all the fall out and Brad keeps sailing along.

Angie has borne the brunt of the fall out IMO because we as a society historically blame the so called other women for the break up of a marriage instead of the married person. For almost a year both Angie and Brad said nothing and still she was the homewrecker. Just when doing her promotion for TGS has she ever spoken about her feelings for Brad. Not one other time besides during that promotion. Even when she was interview in Africa by Ann Curry before she had the baby she said nothing about her feelings for Brad or them as a couple. But she had to address it, she just wasn’t going to get through the promotion of TGS without talking about it and so she did.

The Weekly Tabloid Report- OuttaTouch: I know I said the OuttaTouch gave them the week off and they did not write their usual 2 page fictional story. However, they have a supposed interview with Billy Bob Thornton. From the stories that have been posted here about this interview you’d think it was a whole honking story…but it ain’t. It’s a 1/3 page at the bottom of their little “round-up” section where they have miscellaneous gossip items. According to OuttaTouch, BBT told them that, “We were always good friends and still are. In the papers they always try to portray breakups as real nasty. I talked to her a couple of weeks ago. I see her when she’s in L.A., but she’s rarely in L.A. I don’t think anybody sees her back home. She’s always going. But she keeps in touch, and it’s nice.” (Sidebar: I believe someone else has already pointed out that this is NOT a new quote from BBT. This is taken from an old interview from 2004 or 2005. However, OuttaTouch ain’t gonna tell you that because then they wouldn’t have an Angie item at all this week and apparently that’s illegal, so…they ended up going with this asinine insinuation that Angie was still tied to BBT in some way! Yawn. Next.)

Cuz Lord knows no one’s thrown that in her face in a whole 10 minutes.)

* According to OK! intrepid fiction writer, Marcheline’s death has left a big void in Angie’s life (Sidebar: Who fcukin’ told?”) and Brad is concerned about her because, as a friend says, “This has hit her harder than anyone realized. Brad is terrified that Angie might find comfort in some of her dangerously dark ways of the past to dull the pain.” (Sidebar: Yes, they really are going there. Your mother dies and I guess you’re supposed to go to Disneyland. Apparently no one told Angie about the Dead Beloved Mother Tilt-a-whirl ride.)

* Brad should’ve known something like this would happen because there have been signs that Angie’s new halo was slipping - the first “omen” was her behavior at the GGs with Ryan Watercrest. (Sidebar: Insert your choice of Watercrest’s whiney complaints about the RC interview here.)

* In an attempt to bolster their claim that Angie’s on a slippery grieving slope OK! includes a quote by Angie from a 2003 interview with Baba Wawa where she says she’s been suicidal off and on her whole life and how she used the cutting to release her inner pain and used drugs to hide from herself. (Sidebar: After reading this sh#t I could’ve used a heroin speedball myself!)

* Off to one side of the article they have the Calvalcade Of Angie’s Wildchild Days In Photos: Shimizu, JLM wedding bloody t-shirt story, a photo of her getting her GG for Gia where she noted, “She was not unlike me.”, Angie & Jamie at the 2000 Oscars, the BBT blood “vial” lie, and the 2002 split with her father. (Sidebar: The most recent example they can come up with is a 2002 split with her father? What’s so “wild” about that? I wish I had a dime for every child estranged from a parent…except X’s dime. She can keep it. I wouldn’t touch anything of the stupid cow’s. I’d be too afraid to catch a bad case of insecurity and mediocrity.)

* Another omen that Angie could slip back to the darks side is that the poor thing is “learning to cope” with raising 3 young children while Brad is off working. According to a soon-to-be ex-friend, “Ange is not Lara Croft. It’s impossible to save the world, feed the kids, and be the PERFECT WIFE. Something has to give.” (Sidebar: Hopefully the something that gives will be her temper and she’ll borrow Lara Croft’s guns and head over to the OK! office and put me out of my weekly misery.)

* Just when I thought all hope for Angie was lost, OK! chimes in to say that Brad’s fears are offset by the strength of Angelina’s “extraordinary bond” with the kiddies. (Sidebar: Uh, I’m pretty sure all that “bonding” with Brad on a daily basis puts a little pep in her step, too.)

- Star: “Brad & Angelina: In Danger In New Orleans?” - I had such high hopes when I heard about the Star’s story this week. Pfffft. Turns out it’s nothing but a tacky little poke at the crime rate in New Orleans and an attempt to make it seem as if Brad and Angie are needlessly putting themselves and their children in danger. I guess they’re upset that Brad and Angie won’t stay put in LA where the Star can get as many razzi photos as they want and can more easily manufacture stories about them. Damn those Jolie-Pitts for foiling the Star’s weekly sales numbers!

* The Star starts out by saying that on Feb 6, as Angie was returning to NO from Austin, Texas where she was completing the AMH shoot, she must have been appalled that there was yet another murder in their new neighborhood and it was not the first one this year. (Sidebar: I’m sure Angie was stunned by the murder. Because after all no one has ever been murdered in any of the cities she’s lived in before…LA, NYC, London, Phnom Pehn, Paris, Berlin, Cairo, Mumbai, Ho Chi Mihn City…)

* Someone who lives two blocks from B/A’s new digs says, “I feel more scared now than I ever have.” (Sidebar: This may have been in reference to the murder rate in NO, but I prefer to think the person is afraid of friends and family finding out they voluntarily spoke with a “reporter” from the Star mag.)

* The Star says that B/A moved to NO because they were looking for a “more normal life” but life in NO has been far from normal since Hurricane Katrina. “People are desperate. It’s not the same as when Angelina’s in Bel-Air.” (Sidebar: Uh, it’s not the same as when Angelina’s in Bel-Air because….Angelina DOESN’T LIVE IN BEL-AIR! Okay, I’m splitting a hair, but puh-leeze, she’s lived in dangerous places before and didn’t just fall off the turnip truck.)

* According to the Star B/A seems to have dispensed with all the security people they had in LA. An eyewitness says, “They just come and go like everyone else. They seem really relaxed (like) they don’t have a care in the world.” (Sidebar: The operative phrase here is “seems to have dispensed with”. I’m sure that should a tab reporter care to approach either of them on the street they’ll soon discover that the bodyguards are still on the job.)

* The Star also says that Brad & Angie are not taking any precautions in dropping off and picking up Mad at his new school. A security expert says, “Picking up maddox at school in plain view with no obvious security makes me shudder. High-profile people are targets and should take every precaution to protect themselves and their loved ones.” (Sidebar: I’m sure the only reason this “expert” is shuddering is because he’s thinking of the income he’s NOT making off Brad and Angie.)

* In a sidebar photo caption Star also notes that Angie is frequently seen out and about with the kiddies sans a bodyguard and the security expert says, “It doesn’t take much to kidnap somebody. It’s a crime of opportunity.” (Sidebar: So kidnapping is a “crime of opportunity,” huh? Hmm…kind of like publishing a weekly celebrity tabloid, wouldn’t ya say?)

* Since the Star obviously doesn’t have anything REAL to report they spend a few paragraphns rehashing previous lies, er, stories of theirs, including last week’s “Angie needs a couple of hot meals” story. They say Brad is STILL having a hard time getting her to eat anything. (Sidebar: Shhhh! Don’t tell Star about their dinner date last Friday night. Let that be OUR little real-world secret. And by-the-by…I still say she’s having some Bradley-flavored protein shakes.)

* They also say that Brad is having a tough time getting through “the famously stoic actress’ defenses”. Yet another soon-to-be-ex-friend says, “There’s only so much of what she’s feeling that she’s willing to offer anyone, including Brad. She doesn’t want him to pity her.” (Sidebar: Gee, why would she tell anyone other than Brad anything? They’re only going to run and sell it to the Star!)

* Getting back to this week’s tale the Star wonders if them living in the “tinder box” of NO crime is a good idea for the “stressed-out” couple and the tots. (Sidebar: They act like Brad’s not there to WORK, too!) Another soon-to-be-former-insider says, “How successful they are in dealing with this is going to chart the course for the future of their relationship. (Sidebar: That’s a rather melodramatic ending for what was essentially a fluff piece, don’tcha think? I would think the future of their relationship is going to be more dependent on whether or they can keep from killing a tab reporter and stay out of the hoosegow.)

- Lifeless & Styleless: For this week’s story L&S has returned to a familiar theme - the bickering Jolie-Pitts. Obviously they’re in been-there-done-that territory…again…so they have to come up with a new angle…”Angelina & Brad’s Tearful Fight Over Jennifer” aka Brad cops a peek at X’s new beak which causes Angie to freak.

I think I said this a few weeks ago, but I’ll say it again…Lifeless & Styleless is my new favorite guilty pleasure. Honestly…who else but the truly desperate would invent a scenario of Brad getting caught looking at internet photos of X’s new schnozz? Could they be anymore pathetic? I think not. Therefore, L&S is my new favorite tabloid. This is a story that even the National Enquirer would be ashamed of publishing.

* L&S says our favorite intrepid duo is once again bickering incessantly and the latest battles was sparked by Brad finding out that X finally did something about her bulbous barker. They say Brad is one of a few people who’ve been allowed to see childhood photos of the birth nose and he was curious about what her new one looked like. (Sidebar: Brad, being a modern kinda guy, did what any curious person of the internet age does…he Googled it…”Jennifer Aniston’s new nose” and up popped all kinds of fun photos.)

* It was Brad was transfixed staring at X’s new schnozz that Angie caught him off guard and walked up behind him and “freaked out” when she saw what he was looking at. (Sidebar: Get real…Angie freaked because X is paid good money for a new schnozz and is still fugly enough to scare little kids.)

* According to L&S Brad tried to explain to Angie that he just wanted to see if X looked any different, but he made the sitch worse by teling Angie that he’d also left X to phone messages that he hoped to speak with her soon. (Sidebar: ROTFLMFAOPIMP! I swear to God…they actually wrote this! It’s like they’re trying to make Brad the dumbest mofo on the planet…AND…continue to pimp their fictional Brad-wants-X-to-meet-Shiloh story.)

* Brad was shocked (and the whole world was shocke!) when Angie burst into tears. An “insider” says, “She told Brad she was sick and tired of his fascination with Jennifer and that he needs to move on.” (Sidebar:BBBBWWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! What fcuking riot! GMAFB! Is there any doubt whatsoever left that L&S is on Huvane’s payroll? This continued non-sense that Brad is still harboring feelings for X has gotten out of hand in it’s ridiculousness. The man hasn’t said the woman’s name publicly in almost 2 years. You can bet your ass the only times he mentions it in private is when he absolutely has to. Brad is NOT a guy who spends a lot of time looking back at failed relationships!)

* A family friend says that Brad quickly reassured Angelina that he was over X, “He told her that she’s the one he loves, and he wants to be with her and the kids.” (Sidebar: This would be L&S’s attempt to pander to the B/A fans who were offended by their previous statement….I know y’all are out there lurking, so I just wanna tell ya…it didn’t work. You people are fcuking lame!)

* Yet another friends says, “Brad feels bad that he and Angie are arguing.” and the overly talkative family friend says, “Brad keeps telling Angie that he doesn’t plan on being with anyone else. He says, ‘I just want a normal, happy family.’” (Sidebar: Let me see if I’ve got this straight…according to L&S Brad feels bad for arguing with Angie about wanted to see X’s new schnozz, but wants her to know it’s her that he loves and wants to be with…but he STILL deliberately went looking for photos that he knew would upset the poor, weak, needy, easily upset and jealous Angelina? Anybody else shaking their head at the sheer ludicrousness of this story? Wait…it gets worse…)

* According to L&S “multiple insiders” say that B/A have been fighting a lot lately and their biggest bone of contention is whether or not to attend the Oscar ceremony. Brad wants to go to support Babel, Angie doesn’t want to go and doesn’t want Brad to go either….because he’s hoping to have his “long-planned” meeting with X. One of said insiders claims, “Brad thinks putting the Jen stuff behind him should finally allow him to turn a corner with Angelina.” (Sidebar: Do I need to mention that bit about Brad not spending a whole lot of time worrying about failed past relationships thing again? YET…L&S has been saying for damned near a year that Brad is hoping to meet up with X to put a closure on their relationship. Methinks he had his lawyers do that sh#t for him…)

* Luckily for all concerned there is good news - Brad and Angie have agreed to compromise on the Oscars - Brad has agreed that he won’t go to the Oscar night parties. (Sidebar: What you’ve no doubt noticed is that I didn’t say whether or not both of them are going to the ceremony or just Brad and that’s because L&S doesn’t say either. Gee, could it be because they don’t know? Nah…I doubt that’s it. They just want us to be surprised on Oscar night…yeah…yeah…that’s it…)

* L&S concludes their story with this little gem, “Despite all the recent trouble, Angie - who has a history of leaving relationships when the going gets tough - wants to be with Brad for the long haul.” (Sidebar: Uh-huh, yeah, they went there. I guess they missed that part where she and JLM BOTH said they were too young to have been married and then slept through BBT being an absolute cad and basically refusing to be a father to Maddox…)

* In an attempt to throw the B/A fans a bone L&S’ final quote gives us a little hope that these crazy kids will work things out in th end. An insider says, “She, Brad and the kids are family.” (Sidebar: God, this mag is sooooooo lame!)

* In a sidebar L&S trots out their relationship expert to tell us if B/A’s relationship can be “saved”. Amazingly enough…it can, but it’ll take some work, y’all, “The first thing they should do is go into couples counseling. They need a thrid party to help them sort out things.” (Sidebar: BBBBWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! L&S is a real trip. I’m sure the fact that Brad and X did couples therapy never occured to them. They probably think this is amazing insight into how to prolong the life of their cash cow.)

* The relationship expert says that while it’s nice that Brad wants to keep in touch with X, “he needs to pull back and respect Angelina’s feelings.” (Sidebar: Now their’s a piece of advice that L&S themselves should take and stop writing this obsurdly bad fiction every week!)

L&S is kind of known for their sidebars, the little photos with captions that contain vital bits of information that bolster their story, and while they needed plenty of “evidence” to try to prove their point this week…er, if they had a point, that is…they really should hire a fact checker and a researcher. The fact that they apprently don’t have one is made patently obvious by the following two EMBARRASSING sidebars:

Sidebar: Signs of Trouble in Brad & Angie’s relationship -

1. They haven’t had another baby. (Sidebar of my own: They say that like B/A can just pop one out any time they feel like it! “Hey Ange…where’d this baby came from? I thought when you were in the bathroom so long that it must’ve been a number 2!)

2. They’ve recently spent time apart - Brad went back to NOLA after Marcheline’s death while Angie stayed in LA with her bro. (Sidebar of my own: I know, I know…and just to illustrate how stupid these twits at L&S are, the week before they printed the photo of Brad smoking on Marchelin’s balcony!)

3. They’re talking to their exes - Brad is trying to get in touch with X; Angie has been talking to Colin Farrell & JLM. (Sidebar of my own: Hmm…let me explain to you folks from L&S that are lurking out there how this sympanthy thing works. Let’s say somebody close to you dies…like, say….your MOTHER. When that happens people who know you and want you to know that they’re thinking of you and want to help you if they can…get in touch with you to express as much to you! HELLO!)

4. They’re fighting over going to the Oscars. (Sidebar of my own: And no, they still don’t go out on a limb and say whether or not B/A will attend. Ya can’t tell what ya don’t know, but since that’s never stopped them before…)

5. They can’t agree on where to live - Angelina wants to leave NO and go abroad, they bough an apartment in Berlin, but Angie wants to live in France. (sidebar of my own: ROTFL. These people need to stop reading their own mag and start reading some other NEWS sources…if they did then they’d know that Angie has already said, on record, that she LOVES NO and was looking forward to living there. It would also behoove the L&S to make note of the fact that they BOUGHT A HOUSE AND ENROLLED MAD IN SCHOOL in NO. They wouldn’t have done that if they hadn’t ALREADY made the deicision to stay there for awhile. I swear, these people are just lazy. They’d rather make up a whole story than do a little research!)

Sidebar: Because L&S doesn’t know when to quit…as if their “signs of trouble” weren’t silly enough, they then decide to show us “Why Brad LOOKED Happier with Jen”…and I’m serious here…

1. Brad & X - They laughed on the red carpet (Sidebar: Yeah, this was so nobody would look at them too closely and see how miseralbe Brad was!)
Brad & Angie - With Angie he appears “serious and even angry” (Sidebar: He’s serious because people are ogling his woman, something he didn’t have to worry about with X; and he’s “angry” because…people are ogling his woman!)

2. Brad & X - They had fun date nights, includes a photo of them in Italy (Sidebar: This would be one of the few times X wasn’t afraid to fly so they could actually leave the country!)
Brad & Angie - When in public togehter they often walk apart (Sidebar: Uh,yeah, cuz is they get too close to each other I’m gonna get my PORN VIDEO…ya freaking idiots!)

3. Brad & X - They were romantic on the beach. (Sidebar: ROTFLMFAOPIMP!!!! The photo that accompanies this assertion? It’s one of the Angilla photos. Any self-respecting BAMZS fan knows what that means - they were fcuking faking it!! They announced their separation not 3 days after that photo was taken! L&S…you people are too fcukin’ stoopid to live!!)
Brad & Angie - Never show PDA at the beach, the photos are B/A/M on the beach in Kenya (Sidebar: Did I just say L&S was too stoopid to live? If not, let me say it now…L&S, you people are too fcukin’ stoopid to live!! First you use the LAST photos of Brad & X’s sham of a marriage…and then you use the FIRST photos of Brad & Angie’s NEW relationship to prove your “point”? You people need to take your asses back to journalism school. These interviews seem to have been given during the Babel and The Good Sherperd promotion time. Anyways it is a good read - they have Brad and Angie interviews combined with the title “Two Hearts”

Brad looks fantastic in this new interview. He’s not even nominated for an Oscar and he gets the cover. I’m glad it was made clear in the interview that he co-produced The Departed.

I haven’t read the article yet - I was just responding to what someone else says Brad said, but what I believe he means is….

Brad is asked if he’s made different ‘choices’ for a part other than what was written into the part.

The interview is actually talking about ACTING….However, Brad puts a REAL LIFE twist on his ANSWER, and says, ‘Yeah Angie,’ — meaning it wasn’t in the script or written for him to CHOOSE HER (fall in love), but choose he did.

I’m getting light headed just thinking about it….

It’s amazing - Brad is a true mid-westerner, he says so much by saying so little. LMAO

What he’s saying is that choosing Angie is the choice he made and that having her and the kids added to his perspectives and the changes in the quality of his life.

Brad’s PR have been working hard to establish him as an entity different from Brangelina. All the interviews he has given has been about his roles and his production company. The most personal he ever gets is talking about his children. For once I wish Angelina had a PR person to advise her and keep the interviewer from asking about Brad, maybe she really need to be saved from her honesty.

True, he has been by her side through it all, but also interesting that all the promotions he has done he have never been vocal about his feelings for Angie, meanwhile she has told the world how she loves him, and he was the one that was married and Angelina has been slammed for the demise of that marriage.

You can slam me all you want but this is the point of view of a fan, I just feel that Angie has borne the brunt of all the fall out and Brad keeps sailing along.

Zaza what Brad basically means in his usual Sarcastic manner is that being with Angie is a choice he made, it wasn’t mapped out, planned it was just him making a choice. And he continues to say “lets leave it at that” he could have said more but that’s not Brad…he gives a little and keeps a lot.

“Say it already,” your post was chock full of negativity and was more than vaguely insulting re Brad…that’s your opinion - fine, I let it be known what I thought of it.

You just may want to think about what I said that you are conveniently ignoring. These two people have not spoken of their personal lives and relationship in almost two years.

It has only been with Angelina’s promotion re TGS that we have gotten a peek into the lives they lead and their relationship. These are not actors who will haul off and hold a press conference just to talk about themselves re __. The only way we’ll even come close to hearing about their lives is when they have work to promote.

That said, if you’re really sincere you’ll take note of the following.

Brad having a small arthouse important ‘message’ movie w/ a large intnl ensemble cast to promote, was vastly different than Angelina’s wide releasing larger film. The former does not lend itself to discussing he and Angie’s romantic love life, he knows such talk would eclipse any and all talk of the film and his co-stars. It would become the Brad show, something that I’m sure both Brad and Angelina would have found very inappropriate for this film.

The latter, TGS - conversly benefitted greatly from Angie’s promo work, and her discussions about her life with Brad.

i hate that i love him so much. he hardly makes sense half the time but he is so freaking gorgeous…i just hate it! hahaha -

oh and to ’say it already’, yes brad does just keep sailing along. i mean look at him…how bad is it that beauty conjures such forgiveness? moral dilemma…

So had a good read through the interview and I was really struck by how Brad uses the word ‘intimate’ a couple of times in referencing his life now and knowledge of his self. Many men are afraid to use that word in a conversation about ANYTHING. I was also REALLY interested to hear him talk about becoming more conscious of who he is in the past 5 years. And, saving the best for last, when asked about the changes in his life in the past 2 years: “I always knew it would take this form someday”. Fate, destiny, call it what you will, but Brad and Angelina were meant for each other.

As for choices in movie roles etc. - I was really impressed when he said that he thought he was too old to play the rookie roles in The Departed. How many male actors have the guts and confidence to say THAT! He’s really comfortable with getting older and it’s just one more thing that he and Angelina share in terms of values.

The “Great Escape” because despite leaving Aniston, he is more popular than ever, and that he escaped the wrath of the public, he is doing better films and doing better personally with his new family.

If he wasnt Brad Pitt, what he did, the choices he made was actually a career suicide, tahnk God, Aniston was found out to be not that popular enough that the public will just sympathize with her completely. Aniston’s popularity as america’s sweetheart, america’s favrite friend, was grossly overstated.

Was it just my imagination or did I see a link to the name ‘Jennifer Anniston Pitt’ ????
Why would you have her listed as ‘Pitt’? Firstly, as far as I know, she never went by the monniker Anniston Pitt. Secondly, they’re long gone & divorced!
So why add Pitt to her name at this stage unless it’s to perpetuate the association & to keep the old triangle thing going or what? Incomprehensible to me!

The quote about angelina, he was talking about Kalifornia, how he liked what he did, but the writer didn’t and he kind of had other idea for the character. That’s why Mitchell asked him that, he’s saying that he made a choice that probably a lot of people didn’t expect him to make but for him it was good.

Angelina Jolie plays a long-suffering wife trapped in a loveless marriage in new drama The Good Shepherd. She explains why she and Brad Pitt are more focused on adding to their family than getting married

It was the worst kept secret on the planet, but now that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have come clean about their relationship, the once-elusive star is positively shouting it from the rooftops.

The besotted actress insists the affair didn’t start while they were shooting their movie Mr And Mrs Smith, and is adamant that Brad had already split from ex-wife Jennifer Aniston before they got together. But she admits there was a special bond from the moment they met.

“I got a good feeling about Brad straight away,” she says blushing. “But I never expected to become involved with him. I was happy as a single mother, but we stayed good friends after filming. I think we knew we felt something for each other.”

The pair are now inseparable and have sealed their love with the birth of their baby daughter, Shiloh, born last year. Brad has also become a hands-on dad to Angelina’s adopted children, Maddox, five, and two-year-old Zahara. She can’t contain her joy that they are now one big, happy family.

“Brad is a wonderful father,” she beams. “Raising kids is hard but it’s also a great joy and it’s just wonderful to have somebody to support you through. We definitely want more.”

It’s an enviable domestic set up. Not only are Brad and Angelina probably one of the most beautiful couples in film history, they’re also one of the most successful.

Brad, 43, is currently winning rave reviews for his latest movie Babel, while Angelina has notched up box office hits such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Alexander. She’s also bagged herself an Oscar for her 1999 movie Girl, Interrupted.

Yet despite her on-screen success, it’s clear there’s only one role the modest star really values - motherhood. The mere mention of her brood brings a sparkle to the famous feline eyes.

“Motherhood is everything and more I expected it to be,” she enthuses. “I love being a mum. We definitely want more kids. Brad always wanted a big family too, and adopting more children is part of our plan.”

The actress says being a mum not only dictates how much she works these days, but also her movie choices.

That’s why she agreed to take on her latest film role - a seemingly dramatic departure from the usual feisty, independent heroines we are used to seeing her play. In The Good Shepherd, directed by Robert De Niro, she plays Clover, the subservient wife of one of the first CIA agents (Matt Damon), who can only stand back and watch as his work destroys their family.

However, the star says it was Clover’s love for her son that convinced her she’d be able to take on such a challenging role.

“It was her commitment to him and the fear that he would end up involved in CIA work, too - this dangerous world - which was the one thing that kept me grounded to her character. There was so much about her that I didn’t identify with, but I could really identify with her protective feelings as a mum,” explains the 31-year old star, who recently lost her own mum to cancer.

Angelina also says she relished the chance to play a rejected and unloved wife - something the stunning beauty has probably never experienced in reality.

“I like the fact there were many things about her that were broken. I don’t normally get to play that part,” she smiles. “She is very vulnerable and broken. She is affected by all the negative things about the world.”

You couldn’t say the same for blissfully loved-up Angelina, but the star insists she’s in no hurry to walk down the aisle again.

“It’s not something we feel the need to do and we’ve never really discussed it too much because we don’t think there’s anything missing,” says the actress, who has been married twice before, to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

And despite having it all - fame, beauty, wealth and success - this is clearly one star who seems to be genuinely uncomfortable with celebrity status, making a concerted effort to avoid it at all costs.

“I make a point of not letting it change the way I live my life,” she says of her fame. “I plan things so that I’ve got quality of life that’s private and nice for the kids. We just don’t let it affect us.”

The star also puts her money where her mouth is. She’s famed as much for her charitable work around the globe as for her screen success, and says that’s where her true motivation lies.

“I will continue to work with refugees and will never shift my focus from them because that’s where my heart lies,” she says simply.

“We’ve just come back from Cambodia. We’re supporting a huge area of protected forest for many, many villagers. It’s a huge project but I’m learning so much.

“Brad has also been working in New Orleans with the victims of Hurricane Katrina and we want to do something in Ethiopia, Zahara’s birthplace - maybe support an orphanage there. We hear about something that’s going on and we just want to get involved.”

Not that the talented star is about to give up her acting career for good. She’s currently working on a big screen adaptation of Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged and is rumoured to be lined up to star in Sin City 2.

But for now the contented star has plenty on her plate, what with saving the world, being a devoted mum of three and one half of Hollywood’s most golden couple.

“I’m in a very peaceful place in my life right now,” she says with a euphoric smile. “I do wake up in the morning and realise I have a very fortunate life.”

Brad is such a smart guy! In this show business, he certainly knows the matter of game, he is the one of the masters.

He knows that everybody has been waiting him saying something about Angie and their relationship. He just summarised it perfectly:

“YEAH, ANGIE”.

This is a very short answer is holding every single answer of all the questions he has been asked but not answered until now.

Angie is the one in this relationship who talks about it (much more than Brad). These are two different, strong people and they have two different way to deal with the things of their lives.

There is no need to compare them to each other and compare them to the others.

In a relationship, nobody promises you a rose garden. Head-over-heal love and lust MIGHT get less by the time, there will be arguments, discussion but if you are committed parents to your children, as a partner, you will forever love, respect and cherish your other half. Because for some people, the children are the reason of their lives. Having kids are the dream of their lives. And your partner is the one who made your dream come true and share it with you as you are to him/her.

Thanks for the article and pictures. BP is looking mighty fine. I enjoyed reading the interview and how AJ was an unexpected but wonderful surprise in BP’s life. BP and AJ are fully committed to each other and their children. He has found the family that he has longed for and has embraced it fully. There is no looking backward for this man. He accepts it all, the challenges, the struggles and excitement of raising 3 children with more to come. Critics always try to put BP in a box, more so since his divorce from the American Sweetheart. However, he has constantly proven them wrong and will continue to do so. All critics have left is to bring up silly rumors, try to defame their character and plant false stories on blogs and tabs. Great and honest post!

What i noticed about Brad that he promotes other people when it suits his own image, helps him to justify his own position, when money can be made , etc … but not for the sake of the person itself.

or he is just holding back the story (knowing that everyone is waiting for it) like he did with Shiloh , just to keep interest alive and then sell it to the highest bidder.

Before anyone start to attacking me i want to make it clear that i am just Angelina’s fan, always been. Never cared about this Creep before her and after her.

Brad is doubtless a beautiful man and a very sensitive and coraugeus guy. He decided to change entirely his life when he met Angie, it’s not easy to do that when you belong to a supposed golden couple…He became father very fast, proving to be an incredible daddy for his children, as long as a very devoted man for Angie.
I admire him, ‘cos he is not fake or hypocrite, he loves Angelina because he saw in her, the great person who really she is..

#39- Ohhh, Robert Redford!!! What was that movie with him and Brad, Spy Game? That was double eye candy. They’ve shown Barefoot In The Park on AMC a few times this month and I’ve really enjoyed it.

Speaking of the blame game, yeah Angelina bore most of it, none of it was Brad’s doing. As someone pointed out, it usually is the female that’s blamed more. I feel that if a marriage is “perfect”, as Pitt’s was described as being, it can not be ruined for any reason. There was obviously something missing in the marriage for him that he found in Angelina. I don’t disagree with you at all. Angie has borne the brunt and it has driven me crazy. I don’t think it was deliberate on Brad’s part, though. Partly, as someone pointed out upthread, society blames the woman more for these situations. It’s exacerbated because Angie is seductive, unapologetic and independent and beautiful, and X is needy, manipulative, plainer, clingy and a professional victim.

It seems easier for Brad to talk about his kids than his partner–and this is very common because we all love our kids and society encourages that expression. But I get the feeling he has almost been overwhelmned by his feelings for Angie–as when he shuts the guy down “We’ll let that lie right there” or whatever. It’s a guy thing–he can’t offer up his passion for this woman for easy public consumption in a magazine.

That being said, though, it was still frustrating to see Angie pilloried in the past. I wanted to yell at Brad “Get out there and defend yo’ woman!”

I remember when BP and AJ first got together, BP was almost burned at the stake.
Critics had a field day, calling him every name in the book, heartbreaker, cheater, a pull toy, a puppet, pus*sy whipped, etc (you get the picture). AJ gave the Vogue interview where she was candid about her feelings and stated that she would welcome a meeting with the Ex. This causes a minor backlash with the tabs. However, BP and AJ have not given that many interviews. They have mainly kept their relationship to themselves. I guess it is in our nature (us women) to want the heartfelt declaration, the guy charging on the horse and the undying declaration of love for public consumption. However, it is sometimes the things that the man does that make a difference. In BP’s case, fighting off the paps so that AJ can mourn in peace; handling travel arrangement so that the family can be together; and being the backbone that she never had before in her life. Men come and go, however keepers are hard to find. No amount of tabloid lies, what the fans want or negative bloggers can persuade AJ to get rid of a good man.

Very true. Brad is a strong character and he can be kind but intimidating to reporters. Somehow it’s not so easy to ask him all those intrusive questions about his lovelife. Angie is strong too, but as a woman tends to talk a lot, and journalists sense it and put up these questions to her about Brad. And they know she will answer. With Brad they know that most probably he won’t answer.

My ‘dream thread’ would be a 100% positive, happy thread with intelligent discussion on differing points of view. But alas, it is never to be. My post #124 expressed a different point of view from Just Say It’s, and I managed to express it without attacking or insulting someone who sees things differently but clearly isn’t an overt hater. Some people just haven’t learned that skill in life yet and perhaps aren’t capable of it. They don’t understand how to debate without arguing and bashing. It is sad. Bullying isn’t just something you see children doing. All you can do is tune out the negativity and try to add something positive to the thread - hopefully the good outweighs the bad. That is why I call on all the positive posters to contribute when they can - otherwise the thread will just implode on itself from all the nastiness.

This site is very informative and includes ways in which you can get involved even if you don’t have money to donate. They have an e-mail letter campaign based on postal code that enables you to let your local and federal elected officials know about policies that you support and new legislations being worked on. When you receive the e-mail it has links enclosed that you click on, which sends the e-mail out from your address. It takes just 5 minutes of your time and lets your government know what you stand for!! And if we don’t speak up, how will they ever know right?

As for the poster talking about blood vial and brother kissing, where have you been in the last five years? You guys always have to go back at least 5 years to find something negative about Angie. What does that tell you? That she has grown and eveolved while you are still stuck where you were five years ago. In the last five years, she grew into a woman, and a socially conscious one at that, so please sheath your dagger and put it away.

I never made a dig at Brad or try to insinuate he was not good for her because I think this is the most solid relationship that both of them have ever been in, it doesn’t take away from my wish as a fan that he could say more, and any of you that say you don’t wish for that, I will make a mental note for when that does happen, if you come in here excited then I will have to call you on it.

And thank you to everyone who disagreed with me but did so in a civil manner and we were able to keep the mood of the thread positive. It is possible to disagree with other fans without turning the thread into a battlefied or a cesspool of hate and name calling.

The good thing about AJ is that she doen’t hide behind a publicist. I can think of a couple of interviews where she said “you can ask me anything”. She is always clear that she wants to be real and truthful. Also, she seems to be using BP’s pubiscist for the big things. IMO

Telling though that no one has ever pilloried BBT over it and guess what? He wore one, too!! No, it’s only ANGIE that gets everyone upset. Again, it’s a comment on them, not on Angie. The blood oath of friendship in the movie Stand By Me is never criticized, nor is the ritual of drinking wine as a symbol of drinking Jesus’ blood every Sunday.

Angie will be criticized her whole life. It will never go away. Because this woman is larger than life, is kinder, more compassionate, and more moral inside than many of us can ever hope to be, is honest and unapologetic for her actions and outspokenness, is not discriminating against any country or race or sexual orientation, she is fearless and does what she wants to when she wants to, and is so beautiful and sexy and alluring and a natural beauty that weak, insecure people will always attack to make themselves feel better about being less than she is.

The system seems to work well though, because we all have different bad days, so it seems to ensure that there’s always someone willing to do battle with the haters :-) And I notice that we do seem to beat them back pretty well!

Unfortunately it seems that some posters log in, ready to do battle, and if there’s no haters they turn on fans that have a different opinion about something (and I’m not singling anyone out with this statement - there are a number of posters who do this and they get called out when it happens). I do empathize though - old habits die hard and I know what a battle it’s been.

I liked how they handled the press for MAMS - they just totally shined them off and it was perfect! I just question what would happen if Angelina did that without another big male star (in this case Brad) taking the same stand with the press. The media would be even worse about it. He did it again with MMS and Angelina followed suit. It wasn’t about censoring themselves, it was about being in a situation that had gotten completely out of control and would have become about everything, EXCEPT, the movie.

And not trusting the press to do their jobs and not cross lines. You either played by Brad and Angelina’s rules or you didn’t get access. Yes, it pissed certain outlets off and they got pissy towards them for some time. But, that was the price they were willing to pay. As Brad has said, his choices, his wins, his losses are his and he likes it that way. He also said, he was a grown man and didn’t feel the need to defend himself.

I’ve admired that Brad didn’t get caught up in trying to defend himself because in doing so, people lose sight of what’s real and what’s imagined. Brad has said, he knows the truth, respects it and has no qualms. That’s all Brad owes himself and those in his life. The public isn’t in his life. So, he doesn’t owe the public a damn thing.

The press/public has takens some pretty low blows in trying to wrest that away from him/them and they’ve refused to give the press/public that kind of power. They own their lives, not the press/public.

Thank you for the pic of Elvis Mitchell. He name and picture look very familiar, do you know what other articles he’s written? It’s escaping me at this time. He is just so darn familiar!

Brad Pitt the movie megastar, has portrayed unique and a variety of interesting movie roles in his carreer. He has been underrated as an actor like his predecessor, Robert Redford, his good looks sometimes eclipse his talent as an actor. Humble as he is, he is a movie icon in the making.
Brad Pitt as the man, has the courage to change his life course in his own terms. Despite intense media scrutiny and subsequent backlash in 2005, he has chosen Angelina and their 3 children as his family. His actions the last couple of years is a testimony of how he cherish and love Angelina Jolie deeply. As a fan, I have never seen him this happy, content and peaceful.
Brad Pitt the humanitarian, instead of just resting in his laurels as one of Hollywood’s most sought elite, Angie and himself continue to promote awareness and implement actual solutions to problems like Brad’s NOLA project, Angie’s long term commitment to the Millenium project and their Jolie-Pitt foundation giving out large sums of money to worhty causes.
Brad Pitt has come a long way, always been a good guy and now a better person as he carries his 40’s badge with honor, pride and Angie on his side.

Some ppl that call themselves her “fans” NEVER fail
to insist on EVERY stupid and unimportant thing ( OR

Maniston, Hilton & company get it much worse, but at

Those “fans” should try to give less importance to FAKE

I hear what you’re saying (and definitely agree that JA should have just quit while she was ahead of herself) but I think it would drive fans totally nuts to not get some glimpses into the great new relationship. Also, Angelina wouldn’t be being true to herself if she put those kinds of limitations on herself either, and it seems that Brad respects that she has a different interview style and doesn’t ask her to be anything but herself (I love that). As well, it seems that when women are promoting new films they are expected to speak about their romantic relationships much more than men are, so it’s just part of the job. But I do wish people were as sincerely interested in her humanitarian work as they are in her love life

I don’t want change in her openess, her honest, and her bluntness. Those are some of her best quilities, IMO. I say we need more people like her — I don’t want many intervierws that often because all you are going to get is fluff. But the same can’t be said about Angie.

I hate that she is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t.

Brad’s PR have been working hard to establish him as an entity different from Brangelina. All the interviews he has given has been about his roles and his production company. The most personal he ever gets is talking about his children.

C: Implication is that Brad is not his own man, that Brad does what people tell him to do for his career. Implication is that Brad is so gutless he saves off talking about Angelina, but the kids are a safe bet.

For once I wish Angelina had a PR person to advise her and keep the interviewer from asking about Brad, maybe she really need to be saved from her honesty.

C: Implication is that ’saved from her honesty’ means she should NOT be herself, and that she should start having less integrity like poster implies Brad has, and being more concerned about her career and what people think of her, again, LIKE BRAD. By the way, I can really tell how much you like Brad, and how ‘good you think he is for Angelina.’

True, he has been by her side through it all, but also interesting that all the promotions he has done he have never been vocal about his feelings for Angie, meanwhile she has told the world how she loves him, and he was the one that was married and Angelina has been slammed for the demise of that marriage.

C:Again, see bold: Implication is that Brad is not the person that Angelina is. That he is weak and not ‘brave, bold and free.’ She is honest, and he is not. Implication is that A) he is soley about saving his career and himself and finally B) Implication is also that perhaps Brad is not as vocal, not only because he is gutless and so concerned about his career so he is being verrrrry careful, but also implication is that perhaps he’s ‘just not into her.’

You can slam me all you want but this is the point of view of a fan, I just feel that Angie has borne the brunt of all the fall out and Brad keeps sailing along.

C: Hah. SEE. She expected to get slammed from the word go here. Being true to the bamzs fan that I am, I obliged. She should be happy. Please do not backtrack on your initial comments. It’s always too easy to go back and re-post what you said. In no part of your initial slam against Brad, did you imply (like your saying of late) that you thought Brad and Angelina are soooo good for each other. It was a slam on Brad’s character. If you’re a true fan of Angelina, I wonder how it is, you think she could even be with such a man who isn’t as ‘bold, brave and free,’ as she herself is…afterall, Brad is the one went after Angelina (as this latest interview aptly demonstrates), DAMN THE CONSEQUENCES, the guy was even saying at the time…’I've had a good run,’ telling the world, IMO that you can ddo whatever you like re my career, I’m going for SELF. In HW it doesn’t GET any braver than that. The guys is Brad Pitt, he had just cut himself loose from a HELLUVA ball & chain…he could have been in Vegas with Clooney with 10 ho’s a piece on each arm…he could have at LEAST waited 6 months or even a year before being with Angie - that would have cut out some of this crap…not all, but a lot…he didn’t….he went for his, he was in love…and he didn’t care what was said - as they have both said before — THEY KNOW THEY’RE TRUTH…sadly, it’s just some so-called fans, that don’t want to BELIEVE…

Thats the tie that binds, the love for this family!! I’ll be on and off today, have some real life stuff going on.

Did want to also agree with Lady G, she sure is, thats why I like how she handles her life, if you don’t like it oh, well! She is one of the most together and strong women out there! For the tween set, this is the person to look up to as a role model!

Isn’t it a bloody dilemma. She’d be as crazy at Britney if she spent her time trying to figure out how to please everyone. I think we will see more women in the years to come that follow her style - after all, teenage girls polled cited her as one of their biggest role models :-)

I listened to it again and it is actually Matt Damon’s voice - and his narration starts at the point where it shows him the lineup :-) They are so clever!

I also checked out the music video one as well - couldn’t place the singer but I liked the message. It reminded me of a Johnny Cash song for some reason. And the message of course is that it really is in our hands :-) The only little thing that irked me was that at the end they spelled humanity “humannity”. Everytime I see something like that I think “Please, hire me, I’ll proof read for you”. It’s how I made extra cash in school.

Not sure if “Girl In the Cafe” is on DVD - I’ve caught it a few times on my movie channel. I’ll dig around and see. There must be some way to get it!
