Brad Pitt Shirtless in ‘Interview Magazine’
GUH!! In one of the sexiest photoshoots ever, Brad Pitt takes the March 2007 issue of Interview Magazine. Check out the full interview after the jump but here are some great excerpts:
- What movies do your kids want to watch over and over again? [The Adventures of] Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3D [2005] is real popular in our house.
- What do they think about your movies? Oh, they don’t — they’re not really old enough. Got to keep some distance. Though I wonder what their perspective of the world is — go to the store an there are 20 cameras all fighting for a shot. They just think that wherever you go there are these random bands of crazy people with flash photography.
- How do you feel about that? Truthfully, I think it’s really invasive to kids. There ought to be some kind of law.
- Though there’s a good side, too — when you guys go to a place like Darfur, you get the same kind of coverage. Yeah, we drag that spotlight with us.

Christa, # 574…SWEET MOTHER OF GOD! Who took these pictures?? How could they be that close?? Where were they?? GP looks just dreadful next to his absolute perfection. The only word to say is Splendid. He is a splendid specimen of perfection. Any more like him in Missouri? Oklahoma?
Speaking of Missouri, I noticed in the Inteview article, and other places lately, that he is making more and more references to the places of his youth and childhood. I believe this is the result of having children, which starts you reminiscing and appreciating your own years as your children
reach those ages.
Dragonfly, I think your observations make sense. I had thought he meant it was Angie who had pointed out to him that he brought stuff to his role other than what was written in the script. Now I think your offering, that she was the inspiration behind his ad libs, is what he meant.

Yes, the comment can be read any number of ways, really, but since they were talking strictly about acting and how Brad interprets his various roles at that point in the conversation, I get more of a feeling it was a reference to the John Smith role and acting with Angie…. which of course, lol, *did* go on to have a profound affect on his personal life and later choices, hence the “let’s just let that lie right there” part. He wasn’t going to get any more personal than that! haha!!
I would seriously LOVE to hear him talk more about acting with Angie, though. Also, I hope during AMH press that he will talk about watching her act and what she brings to her characters, etc….
As much as I’d love all the mushy love stuff, I would equally love to hear them talk in detail about acting and roles, and what they each think of the other’s portrayals. For instance, I’d like to hear Angie talk about what she thought of Brad’s Louis in IWTV, or Brad talk about Angie’s character in Original Sin. That would be cool. That’s just the artist in me that would like to know more about the artist in them.

Sheri we are on for the 27th. Right now I am ROTFLMAO, as hubby reads PT’s comments from the tabbies (remember he is being educated re: stupid ragz and never ever buy me a Star magz as long as we are together :-)) Love you all!!!
Again - I don’t like fans who think everything their star does is perfect!! That’s bull since these stars are human. That’s why I, again, love Jolie and Pitt. They ADMIT they make mistakes and because of that they leave themselves to be questioned - not that they care for your opinion since they will learn their mistakes and live by their code instead of blindly following some other’s formula.
But as a fan, I believe looking at their decisions and remarking is nothing BAD. This does not make you a ’so-called’ fan if you dare question a move they make or discuss how they handle themselves - thus, the concept of blogging and discussing with other fans. So many Jolie fans who still remain loyal do question her decision about hooking up with BBT. And, I can tell you these are the true-diehard fans. Why, because they saw how much hurt this caused their favorite star. Will she do it differently - probably not, she’s the type who doesn’t regret from what I’ve seen. However, a bunch of her fans still question this move and doesn’t mean they’re less of a fan - because this comes from caring about her.
I remember her interview with Jay Leno and asking him to stop making fun of BBT and her because her mother got hurt by it. So don’t tell me she doesn’t get hurt by these awful comments that are made. Sure, they continue to walk their walk but I am sick and tired of ppl saying that those negative campaigners don’t hurt them.
I truly appreciate JJ for providing a forum for clearing the air. But as a true fan, I will make a comment not always pretty about my favorite star, actually stars now.
Sorry folks - I just don’t like being called out without directly being addresed. I’m the type - Say It to My Face.
My last rant on this subject.

Stranger, I am so glad you saw the movie. I never re-watch any, but I did that one, as much to oggle Gerard as any reason, I admit. I had never heard of him, and he made a powerful enough impression on me to never forget it. The style that movie was filmed in was so real. Every performance was perfect. Yes, the kid was great.
Professor Cliniqua, perfect analogy! I still cannot forgive MD, however. Will never see him as OK again. That was just so thoughtless to speak of these gorgeous children as he did. As a parent, what was he thinking? But for the grace of God, it could have been his kids who met the same sad fate as children in orphanages. Do you think this was the reason CZJ was not asked to be in Oceans 13?
