Brad Pitt Shirtless in ‘Interview Magazine’
GUH!! In one of the sexiest photoshoots ever, Brad Pitt takes the March 2007 issue of Interview Magazine. Check out the full interview after the jump but here are some great excerpts:
- What movies do your kids want to watch over and over again? [The Adventures of] Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3D [2005] is real popular in our house.
- What do they think about your movies? Oh, they don’t — they’re not really old enough. Got to keep some distance. Though I wonder what their perspective of the world is — go to the store an there are 20 cameras all fighting for a shot. They just think that wherever you go there are these random bands of crazy people with flash photography.
- How do you feel about that? Truthfully, I think it’s really invasive to kids. There ought to be some kind of law.
- Though there’s a good side, too — when you guys go to a place like Darfur, you get the same kind of coverage. Yeah, we drag that spotlight with us.

I didn’t click either, and I’m not going to. I know about those pics, and it’s a complete invasion of privacy. Plus, the new pictures in Interview are waaaaay sexier. And the other new one of Big Daddy Braddy pushing the stroller is pretty freakin’ hot as well!

See, I think what he is saying is that when he acted with Angie, there were things he did with the character of John Smith that weren’t written into the script, things he did spontaneously just because Angie affected him emotionally, and it put things on the screen that wouldn;t have been there had he not been in the process of falling in love while the camera was rolling.
Brad said himself of MAMS, “There’s alot of love in that movie”, and I believe him. I think that naturally he isn’t going to elaborate too much on the character of John Smith, because he did interject himself and what he was feeling at the time onto the character, and certainly he did things that weren’t written for that character to do.
Anyhoo, that’s what I think he meant by his “yeah, Angie” comment.

Loved your take on this dragonfly! :-) Going over MAMS with a fine tooth comb like I’ve done time and time again, I’ve noticed a few things that Braddy may have done that he wasn’t supposed to — that tongue waaaaay inside of Ange’s mouth for instance…hee! ;-)

I agree, he was talking about his life choice of Angelina over the script that the press and public had written out for him.
It goes hand in hand with his comments about Kalifornia. The writer hated what he did, but, Brad liked it.
Just like choosing Angelina, he got grief for it, but, he’s glad he made the choice he did.
Theresa, #582…You must not realize that we cannot all use our given names, because there aren’t enough of those to go around. Let’s say today you are calling yourself Theresa. What does someone else, also named Theresa, do if she wants to also post? Be Theresa too? No. Too confusing. Create a screen name, to distinguish herself from the other ten or twenty people named Theresa? Yes. Hopefully she can think of something else to identify herself by, like AddictedtoBAMZs. It clearly identifies my leanings and my dilemma. The others get it. Sorry you don’t.

Oh, I think it was the biting on the arm, myself! haha!! When I saw that part, I was like, “Damn, he bit her!” Now, you can’t tell me that wasn’t spontaneous!
Just like when he is majorly checking her out in the Bogata dance scene when she walks behind him and onto the dance floor, and his eyes are traveling all up and down and he can’t stop looking at her? He couldn’t help that, and it is just THERE for everyone to see. Sure, his character was supposed to be atrracted to her character, but the difference is…he was really feelin’ it. I think it surpriesed even him. That was the beginning if fighting the attraction and denying he felt more for her than friendship.
Of course, if he were to actually talk about any of that, people would call him out for admitting he cheated ::rollseyes::, but what those idiots who say that simply can’t seem to GET, is that there is a huge difference to falling in love and having affair. One does not necessarily include the other, and I think Brad and Angie fell in love over a period of about a year (2004), and when it came time to actually finish MAMS, and it came down to actually having to say goodbye and go their separate ways, neither one, especially Brad, wanted to lose the other.
It’s all very sweet and romantic, really. I feel they were already very deeply in love by the time they actually started sleeping together, which I think could have been anywhere from Feb to Apr 05. They moved so fast because they already knew each other so well, and once the physical aspect of it began, it was ON! haha!!
OMG!!!! Danielle & Sad - Thank you so much for the new photos. The one from the Sun is just too cute!!! Shiloh certainly seems to be comfortable around photographers. It does look like she’s waving. Too funny!!!

Yes, I see your point of view. Like I said, it can be interpreted any number of ways. I like to look at all sides of things, and seriously, I am just glad to have a new interview to discuss. I can definitely agree to disagree. I was just trying to bring another interpretation to the table.

I don’t know if you are revering to me but if that is the case you where the last person I wanted to address in my post about the interview. Of course they have done mistakes and plenty of them and nobody says otherwise.
The point in my post is that no matter what our opinions are about what they should or not they will continue to do what THEY THINK is best for them. They are adults and they don’t need any of our approval on how they should act. If they want to do something they will do it. If they don’t they won’t do it. That is why I think these kind of conversation are a mute point.
My issues where with some people constantly wanting to take Brad down for no particular reason and without even doing their research first.
As to what Angie said in that JL interview she said it because this situation was hurting HER MOTHER. She didn’t do it for her self. Angie has said that she doesn’t care how bold she is and what other people are thinking of her and especially the TABLOIDS. She has said that she doesn’t let all this stuff to affect her life. She has many other serious things to worry about. Such as her KIDS and her own FAMILY.
Anyway I really like your posts and my previous comment had nothing to do with you. I just wanted to clear that out.

‘Please,’ you have a point. Mayhap it’s a bit of both. LOL I think in it’s most obvious, Brad is saying, ‘Angie,’ the force of nature that is she, happened to him and resulted in his ‘different choices’ for the role, the film and his life. ..and like he said, ‘We’ll let that lie right there.’ In other words, no need to elaborate on that Mr.Mitchell, I can tell by your chuckle you know what I’m sayin’ my man. Thanks, for your reply. I appreciate you sending that clarification.
I understand where you’re coming from. Like I said in my post, I really admire these two because of their ability to judge a situation at face value and not what others think they should do but what is good for them and their values. That’s why I think in the long-run these two are going to be fine.
I guess I’ve about had it with evil nay’sayers that I feel like I can’t have an honest opinion about my fave stars through all the good, bad and ugly that they do without the further interrogation or walking on eggshells. Thus, my jumpiness. To me, honesty is what got me into Jolie - and, I don’t want to lose that.
And, I don’t want the haterz to win by backing me into a ‘white picket fence’ version of the stars I admire.
Just because I feel that the situation could be better handled or the actions taken differently doesn’t mean that I’m less of a fan. We all can learn from each other and sometimes as Pitt puts it ‘laying it all on the table’ is the only way to see how to handle it better.
