I ALWAYS knew Madonna would make an excellent mother. Always. She says she used to be somewhat like Britney, but I beg to differ. Yes, she wanted attention and was hurting because her mother died, but Madonna was always in control of her environment and not self destructive. When people are self-destructive you know that they don’t love themselves and have a lot of self-esteem issues. When you love yourself you don’t sit around drinking, drugging and boozing.

Madonna has always been strong and determined to do things her way. She’s had cameras following her for years, but it never bothered her. She likes the attention.

Madonna has very good maternal instincts and is not raising her children to be spoiled brats. She didn’t rush out like Britney and quickly have children when she married Sean Penn. She has a vision, a purpose in life, a plan. She’s simply an icon because she’s smart about her life and knew her abilities and how best to market them.

The new baby, David, fits right into the family. He looks healthy, happy and well-adjusted.
