Whoever said upthread that TomKat is in direct competition with BAMZS, I competely agree. I read somewhere that Tom is going to buy a plane for Katie Holmes if she takes flying lessons. I guess Tommy is jealous because Angelina can fly her own plane so now he wants his wife to learn how to fly, too. I’m surprised he hasn’t yet bugged her about riding motorcycles.

He’s behind her nose job too, along with a complete fashion makeover to compete with the ever elegant sylph-like delicately featured fair & pale Ms. Kidman, Tom’s trying to make the pug nosed cute brunette into a sexy world class breathtaking beauty like Angelina.

It just ain’t gonna happen.

Not that Katie can’t clean up and look cute - but I find her a bit Tom-boyish in the face, she’s more cute, and of late she’s pretty - but not so much beautiful…her facial features actually remind me of Britney’s.

So that’s why I’m sure now more than ever, Tomkat will use ‘Brangelina’s’ absence (and I still maintain, they wouldn’t even be going if Brangelina WAS going, which means they’re not) to try and show how glam they can be. Tom right now is probably taking horse pills to lose weight himself, and Lord knows what Oscar gown Katie will go with in an effort to ditch the Dawson’s Creek-ness. I think it would be poetic justice if Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban worked the red carpet too - but Tom still probably has enough pull to stop that. Tom is just TACKY. You’d think in a year in which his former high-profilebeard– oops I mean ‘girlfriend’ is nominated for a Best Actress Oscar, he might stay home and let Penelope Cruz have her night (not that Penelope cares, she knows what he’s hiding..heh) - but still…this little dweeb pulled the same sh*t with Nicole, he didn’t let her have her night to herself, even though she was nominated for Best Actress, and he had NOTHING going on, as usual.

I also think Brad has been robbed his nomination by Eddie Murphy. ‘Babel’ was his most succesful role so far, he gave one of his best performance ever. I love Ellen, I am so happy she spoke out about that. I hope Djimon Hounsou wins, but not Murphy. Seriously when you see how crappy his last movie ‘Norbit’ is (-and his screaming in ‘Dreamgirls’), you cannot wish the man to win. Sorry for his fans, JMO. I want Djimon instead!

Re: madd and z being called “adopted”

While I do trust I understand everyone’s point of saying that there should be no distinction to separate madd, z, and shiloh, I would like to just put this idea out there…

I don’t believe the word “adopted” is a dirty word. I think there is a part of wanting the media to NOT use the word concerning madd and z that suggests that to say a child is adopted is somehow suggesting that child is subpar. Adopted is just another adjective to use to describe them, I don’t see it as negative at all. If you’re going to say, “Wow, I wish the media wouldn’t call madd and z their adopted children…” That’s almost like saying, “I wish they wouldn’t point out that madd is cambodian and z is ethiopian.” I think people should start taking away the stigma of adoption by applauding and celebrating the word. Demystify it, you know. I feel so strongly about this, so I hope I’m explaining myself okay.

To end my LAP, let’s also remember that Angie frequently brings up the “adopted” word when talking about madd and z. Not always, but she has done it. I think adoption is one of the most beautiful things one human can do for another, so I love seeing the word, Especially when you see what a loving and supportive home has been created for madd and z by brad and angie. Adopted, adopted, adopted–its a beautiful word and a beautiful thing! LOL
