OlderBrad & Angelina Down in New Orleans
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their brood — Maddox (pictured), Zahara, and Shiloh – enjoy a walk along the streets of New Orleans over the weekend. The happy couple was spotted by one lucky fan from their balcony!

Brad Pitt looks every inch the doting dad as he wheels two of his children in a buggy.
Partner Angelina Jolie has her hands full too with two cups of coffee — while adopted daughter Zahara munches away on crisps.
Film hunk Brad, 43, pushed Zahara, two, and nine-month-old baby Shiloh during a family stroll near their £2million home in New Orleans.
Dressed all in black, Fight Club star Brad looked typically trim. Angelina, 31, is still coming to terms with the cancer death of her mum three weeks ago, but put on a brave face.
The couple also have an adopted son, Maddox, five.

ITA. I believe in ignoring them too. I’ve noticed that in previous post that when we ignore them, they would keep on reposting what they posted to see if we get riled up, and when we don’t respond, they get bored and just leave. So yeah…ignoring them really does work. But of course, it doesn’t always work because some people just can’t let it go. And sometimes….I can’t blame them. Some of these haters are just….too much.
btw…any visayans here? ^^ Cebuana represents… wait…haha, I represent hawaii too (since that’s where I live now). but yeah, sorry for butting in, I just missed writing/reading Filipino writings.

To all you arguers - give it a break. When you get bored you single someone out and like a pack of wolves attack. It’s lame, unpleasant and a waste of space. If you don’t like what is said and can’t respond in a reasonable manner then just ignore the post. I have noticed that quite a few posters who write interesting posts get ignored - but just say Angie is looking a bit thin, hope she is okay and the wolves are off and running. They are just looking for an excuse to spew.

Mabuti naman. And the weather here is fine, but it’s acting up. We shouldn’t be getting alot of rains, but lately…haha. I kind of feel sorry for the tourists who are here to enjoy the sun but it’s not as bad as where you guy live. Although, I would really really love to see snow. When i went to japan last December, I thought I’d finally get to see snow, but alas…wala!!! Nakaka-inis pero I like it. It was my first time experiencing winter. Besides Japan, I’ve only been to two places, Philippines and Oahu. And they’re not that much different.
Naku talaga, itong mga letching yawang’ haters natu. Gusto ko talagang i-shake sila to wake them up. Ang mga gaga talaga, ewan ko kong anong mga isip nila. hindi ko maiintindi. At first, I find them funny and entertaining, but naku naku, it’s like repeat over and over again. Kaya nga I became an expert in skimming and ignoring, dahil para bang na-baba yong’ edukasyion ko when I’m reading their post. Pero, type na type ko talaga when you guys crush them w/ knowledge and research. Namumukha silang stup*d. But instead of hiding away to lick their wounds, they come back right at you w/ hatred words. Ay ewan talaga. (Pasensya na sa bad Tagalog ko. 2nd language ko eh.) haaay~~

ITA. I am in a third world country and even if I am here and I deal with all this bureaucratic red tip everytime I needed something done, I still get frustrated. When you try to be principled and ethical it means you have to put up with a longer lead time of getting things processed and approved. Corruption is pervasive from the higher offices down to the barangay (county) levels. Not to mention you have to contend with the padrino system (you lend favors to somebody’s protegee). Although there are other gov’t agencies in the Philippines that have good service but I can only think of one so far (Pag-ibig Fund) to I have experienced having good service in the truest sense of the word. These nutsies think that donation is simply a gesture sending money to the needy or just a transfer of funds. It is much more complicated than that. Paper works are involved and with such a high profile transaction, some Namibian authorities are probably doing some grandstanding of their own and power play is involved.
With the clamor for transparency, anti-money laundering, monetary transactions are scrunitized. It turns out that originally payment of the hospital equipments promised by the J-Ps were to be coursed thru the Michelle McClean Trust but MMT doesn’t have the status to accept/credited with such a large amount from the US.
Again, this is not rocket science. Only those seeking to propagate their own agenda (like RADAR) can come up with such conclusions that the JPs reneged on their promise.

There’s something that I’ve noticed about Radar online. They seem to be building a case against the Jolie-Pitts:

They put a little update regarding DRC School Project and Community Centre article that indeed the money was received because Ivanna Iafigliola-Kriner sent them an email. They never acknowledged that the money were able to buy books and some were allocated for teacher’s salaries. But to my knowledge never issued an erratum. And you really have to look hard because I don’t think that little update is there anymore. Its conveniently hidden somewhere.
Its interesting to note that Radar magazine folded in Dec 2005. The website is a spin-off of a magazine that did not even informed its subscribers the were closing shop. But it looks like the website is not governed under the same premise as the printed Rad mag. The one that made a great write up regarding Tom Cruise and Scientology. Understably, the main motivation for the attacking the Pitts is because of publicity and talking anything about them though substantiated guarantees for it to be picked up. It all boils down to the bottom line figures. Its not about informing the public. That ideology comes in to the last of their priorities.

HOLLYWOOD superstar Angelina Jolie’s campaign to promote equal access to education has yielded results in the dusty streets and shacks of Swakopmund’s DRC settlement.
Jolie donated U$15 000 (about N$111 000) to the DRC School Project and Community Centre when she, Brad Pitt and their two adopted children visited Namibia earlier this year.
On Friday, staff members of the modest, privately run DRC School officially thanked the celebrity couple in their absence, while the young pupils eagerly unpacked the crates of books that were bought with the money.
“Their donation … helps to ensure that over 30 children will be able to receive an education through this project in the upcoming year,” said Ivanna Iafigliola-Kriner, who founded the project along with her husband, Mike.
“All children attending the programme will now have their own English, Reading and Maths textbooks,” she said.
“We would also like to thank all of the companies and individuals who have supported us through 2006.”
The rest of the money will be spent on teachers’ salaries for next year.
Since opening its doors some two years ago, the arrangement of brightly coloured bulk containers that were converted into two classrooms and an office has brought a measure of hope to the neglected, impoverished community of more than 2 000 residents.
The school now provides education to about 30 children between the ages of six and 12 years, who previously had little hope of formal schooling.
Two qualified teachers were appointed on a full-time basis last year.
A few wooden shacks behind the schoolhouse small businesses such as a barbershop and a sewing centre where entrepreneurs can get income-generating projects off the ground.
Besides the adult literacy programme and health information offered at the community centre, it is a regular meeting place where people can discuss community issues.
