Lady G and green lettuce- ITA Imagine Mad and Z when they are old enough to read and they are always referred as The Adopted kids. Does the media think we’re going to forget or are they just as heartless as I thought?

Bad connections for me too, I think everyone is just so excited to see them out as a family in peace that the site got jammed. :)

This is exactly the reason why Angie said in that interview (forgot where) that she’s more concerned (as in worry) about Z and Madd than Shiloh cos Shi is more privileged. Ange has no illusions about the world in which all her children will grow up in. Hate and prejudice are rife…………..even within people of the same race and culture.
A-holes will always seek to make distinctions between B&A’s adopted vs their natural-born children and B&A are highly aware of this. Which mother, who has a child that is in some way disadvantaged, vis-a-vis his/her sibblings, doesnt feel more compassion for that child whenever it is necessary. Shi will be loved even by those who hate Angie! for chrissakes as i have noticed on some of the hateful blogs around. And i am sure y’all have also seen the nasty racist slurs cast on Madd and Z.
Im a great admirer of Angelina Jolie and i just love how she turns criticisms of her into water on a duck’s back.

I was composing a post saying the same thing. And you are right Angie knew how Mad and Z would be treated and she wanted the world to know there is NO different when it comes to her children.

Also it’s NOT just other blogs that do it. I have read it on this very blog and it really makes me wonder how anyone can not see children are children. As I stated before I am from a blended family and there were countless times that my dad (who happen not to be my bio dad) relatives want him to say he loved his bio children more than my sister and me. Of course, he told them where to get off.

Parents who either adopt or blend their family aren’t stupid and they know what the real world is really like. And that is why I give them all the props for NOT making a difference where their children is concern.

i hope so too. also, don’t know if you kinw Ellen Degeneres said that Brad got snubbed for his role!!! i am sure of it brad got snubbed by the academy. SO WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wish brad and angie attend the oscar. would be great to see them live and just pix!:) well, it’s cool to see them on pix if that’s all we can have….hehehe

Regarding Oscar, I think they should attend. GG was such a big and formal “coming out” expectation that would be nerve wracking for anyone. More they show up as a couple in public, full-attired, and not to mention be glaringly beautiful, public will get used to it, and also Jolie-Pitt will become more relaxed. More relaxed they LOOK, public will get comfortable… maybe…

Thanks, Jared, for the new family pictures. They all look so good it almost hurts my eyes to look at the picture. How nice for them to be out and about in New Orleans. What great fun it would be to be able to attend Mardi Gras this year, you might get a glimpse of the Jolie-Pitt family right next to you. Or even better, Brad and Angelina could be next to you with masks and beads on (woot!) Peace and a happy day to all!

Yeah, I read the Ellen comment. Nice. Ebert also thought Brad should have been nominated. I’m still up in the air on whether Brad was truly snubbed or not. Now don’t get me wrong, I believe he deserved a nomination but the voting/nomination process is a weird one. Something like the #1 votes are the ones that only matter. Maybe Brad just did not get enough #1 votes to make it in the top 5. The same is true for Jack Nicholson and Michael Sheen. Supporting Actor was one of the deepest of recent years. I’m still proud of him though. He really stretched himself in Babel and he’s showing them what he’s got on the production side.

I don’t think Brad and Angie will attend the oscars but the last couple years has taught me to never think I have them pegged. We may just see them walking the red carpet a week from now and you’ll all “hear” my trademark “Sweet Fancy Moses!” :lol:

unless you’ve seen all the films and people nominated’s films, you can’t make a judgement. Brad was not snubbed for an Oscar nomination. He hasn’t had the kind of critical raves for acting in a long while. That in itself is enough. There’s a h e ll of a lot more ahead for Brad that will best the Babel performance IMO. His best work is yet to come.
