A super smiley Britney Spears arrives at LAX from Miami on Friday afternoon after a brief visit at rocker Eric Clapton’s rehab facility, Crossroads Centre in Antigua. Britney, 25, spent less than one day there before checking herself out and returning to L.A.
Around 7PM that same day, Britney paid a visit to Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Calif. to shave her head completely bald. Salon owner Esther Tognozzi witnessed the entire transformation and heard Britney say, “‘My mom is going to freak.” (See video footage of Britney Spears with her newly shaven head here and even more pictures of a bald Britney Spears after the jump!)
It’s over now, but there was an eBay listing for Britney’s hair.

This is crazy. Britney is getting so much attention because of this. This story even made the front pages of the papers here in Ireland!!!!!!!!!!!
It just proves that she is still a huge star. She will never be left alone by the media. She is just too famous.
Best hair-do i’ve seen on her in months!!! Her hair was so fried and mangy anyways…either the media ***** is tired of all publicity being on ans or she’s finally flipped out!!
The choices she makes keeps getting worse and worse. To leave rehab early was just another bad choice. When she hits her bottom again, she will admit she has problems and beg for help, rehab that is. Until then shes on a collision course with troubled life. She will have to be the one that decides enough is enough.

Humm, Britney, bless your heart. did all you guys take into consideration that after she had those two kids, she lost that bangin bod. Nobody looks at her the same way anymore, she is just not attractive as she used to be, and I think it is going to her head. So if nobody is paying attention to you anymore then why not bring attention to yourself in a different way by shaveing your head. I feel sorry for a person that has to stoop to that level.
First off, I think you all are pretty pathetic for caring that someone shaves their head. My uncle shaves his every year and you don’t see the news papers putting him on the front page. Who cares if it’s for publicity or not… you ***** but do nothing about it. All of you are probably Britney fans and only find her more amusing now that she finds more and more ways to come up with attention. Of course I’m not saying that attention is the only reason for sure immature act, I also believe her parents play a huge role in it. I won’t lie… and I don’t expect you to lie… I’m sure you’ve seen some or all of the Mickey mouse club stuff with her as a young child… her parents pretty much forced Britney into it. Loving to sing is completely different than wanting to sing for the rest of your life. But hey if you’re going to get a couple million out of it why the hell not. Money can buy love and happiness for some time.

I LOVE BRITTNEY SPEARS ! i have for a long time , some decsions she has made are not the best but neither are a lot of peoples. i personaly dont like what she did to her hair but thats what she wanted to do SO EVERYONE NEED TO GET THE F*CK OVER IT ! all you people talk so much gossip it makes me sick , who cares if ur a brittney fan or not who cares if you feel sorry for her or not … none of this matters. the only that does is that brittney gets better and stays with her kids and helps them learn and grow up :) thats what she should be focusing on . .. and wearing underwear would be nice too , sorry i just had to mention that haha !

I think Britney is totally crazy, but everyone should just leave her alone, why does everyone care so much about what she does.

Don’t judge until you’ve tried it, I’ve shaved my head before and I’m a girl. Its liberating to not have to check your hair all the time and I’d imagine in her position as a icon she has to fix it constantly.
