Brody, who?

If you’re not a reality TV junkie, you may not be familiar with Brody Jenner, 23. He starred on the short-lived reality TV series Princes of Malibu and dated fellow reality TV stars — Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari and The Hills‘ Lauren Conrad. In between, though, he dated socialite Nicole Richie.

His latest conquest? Lindsay Lohan.

Here’s a couple excerpts of Brody’s interview from the March 2007 issue of Details Magazine.

• On reality TV: “To make good TV, you have to have *******, cars and money.”
• On Nicole Richie’s returned gift: “How cute is this cat? It’s a Bengal cat — have you heard of these? They cost $1,200. I gave her to Nicole, but she ended up giving her back to me.”
• On the Hollywood scene: “This whole scene, this whole town—it’s all so fake. It’s like a movie set, like my life is a movie set. These people, they all think this is real, but it’s not. I wanna meet a girl who has nothing to do with L.A., a nice, normal, real girl. Actually, you know, that’s gonna be a component of our new MTV show—me leaving L.A. to meet a normal girl. It might be hard, though, with all the cameras.”
• On reality TV serial dating: “Basically, I made it, like, my mission to try to go on a date with every girl on The Hills.”
• On his ideal woman: “I wanna meet a girl who has nothing to do with L.A., a nice, normal, real girl.”

You’ll be interested to know that Brody text-messaged Lindsay during the interview, saying, “Let’s see where Lindsay’s at, get her up in here.”

UPDATE :: Brody speaks out against the Details article: “”I have broad shoulders and can handle what is written about me personally but when I am misquoted or mischaracterized as exhibiting a disrespectful attitude towards someone I care about, I feel I need to clarify the situation. I genuinely love Nicole… I would never say or do anything hurtful to those I love and respect. I’m sorry it was represented that way.”
