In tabloid news, UK’s Grazia magazine is reporting that Brad and Angelina are seeking marriage counseling but are determined to work through their problems for the sake of their three children, adopted Maddox and Zahara, and their biological daughter Shiloh.
“This year is crux time. They have to reach a decision on what they expect from each other - and fast. Angelina has to realize Brad needs stability and Brad has to come to terms with her driving ambition as a world ambassador.
“Brad’s family are blown away marriage didn’t happen a long time ago. But Angelina doesn’t want to put down roots and turn into a ‘homemaker’.
“Her late mother had a lot to do with Angelina’s decision to have counselling. Marcheline made her realize it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to give marriage a go.
“They have had some serious disagreements but Brad and Angelina agree that they don’t want to make any more mistakes, particularly now there are three precious little lives involved.
“This wasn’t the case in their previous marriages. The stakes are much higher than when they were childless.”

Just writing to say that I just finished watching Babel–AGAIN–on my hotel’s spectravision and…MY. GOD. How in the hell did they not nominate him for an Oscar?
Every time I see it, I see just how mature and nuanced his performance is.
He may act like he doesn’t care but he has got to be a little ticked off that he was judged to be less than Marky Mark who basically got a not for reciting every combination of curse words there are!
I hate that he was snubbed for this. Yes, the Oscars are dumb but they are the industy’s measuring stick and he deserved at least a nomination. But he got a lot of press for being snubbed, so at least that’s something.
People recognized.
my take on the oscar, brad will go to the oscar alone, will not walk the red carpet, but will slip in from the back door. he’s going to support for the 2 movies for best pic.
Sheri- I do think Brad will go but not AJ.

I agree with you on this one.
Brad didn’t attend the Pre-Oscar party of Global Green. Is Fincher still in Thailand shooting a commercial? They were on a break while he’s gone. Its possible he maybe attending to support Departed and Babel. Just like some fans I’m still bitter thought for the snub. I’m hoping they won’t attend.
artic cat, susie I still hold out hope! Angie is an Oscar winner and they always try and make sure they are there. Brad has TWO movies he’s involved that are up for major awards. After seeing the picture of Angie on the balcony looking so happy. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I still really would love them to walk the carpet and breeze right by Runt Seeweed!

All of you that think Brad may go alone are most likely right. Didn’t think of the mob scene that would take place if Angie went, and we know the paps really won’t be compassionate. I don’t even want to think of the questions they’ll throw out!

With Brad and Angie, you never know. Remember TGS premeire? They didn’t know that Brad was going to come w/ Angie…but he did. So, we can only hope.
About the Oscars.. You, people, seem to forget that
Angelina is still mourning. I think it wouldn’t be
right that Brad, who is the man in her life and a father
of their children, goes without her.
If I were Brad, I would go just to be polite. He does have 2 films which were nominated for best picture. Not going sends a signal that he is “sored”. Not bringing Angie is good. It will give him an excuse to leave immediately after the oscar . I also think it would be good for Angie. She doesnt have to travel so much.
I also agree with the other poster. Brad might slip in at the back door and sit with the rest of the cast. In that way, he doesnt have to socialize with that fake ryan seegay.
Aiko-
I would love her to go but I think that even if they came in without doing the red carpet,
which is how I think BP will do it, she will still have tons of well meaning people giving her their condolences. It seems really overwhelming to me. JMHO
