Brad & Angelina’s Vietnam Adoption
US Weekly is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed paperwork with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services to adopt a boy from the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Brad and Angie spent Thanksgiving in Vietnam back in November 2006.
The couple have three children — Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 9 months.
Maddox was born in Cambodia, Zahara was born in Ethiopia, and baby Shiloh was born in Namibia.

One more thing if US mag really thought they had a scoop it would be on the cover. US mag cover just notes new photos of Shiloh.

US didn’t even bother to edit the lainey info from over a month ago. All they did was add what they said were Vietnam’s adoption regulations, and who knows if and how accurate US was. Said in one part of the article that only Angelina’s name’s would appear on the paperwork as a single woman, but then said in another part of the article that Angelina and Brad had put in the paperwork jointly. Some counties allow both single women and single men and married couples to adopt. Other countries impose age limitations on adoptive parents. I do not know what the rules are in Vietnam. Angelina and Brad have always managed to surprise so we will see. Wasn’t US the tab that said Zahara was a boy?
Thanks Jared but I will that a wait and see attitude. All these rags just repeat the same thing over and over. We all know that Angie and Brad have said they will adopt again so to me there is nothing to report.
Rags will use Angie and Brad to sell their so called mags.
If and when the do adopt the child will be well loved due to both having such a great love for children.

i agree, they have been off the radar and making stuff up just to make money since this family makes great news! whatever the truth is, God Bless them!
If true, congratulations to them. Not really buying any tabloid speak though so we’ll see. If true, by the time the new child is brought into their home their youngest will be a year old. Sounds about right (at least a year apart if they want a big family). Good for them!

If they really will adop a kid soon, I wish they can adop a bit older one. Having all the kids under or around 5 is going to be tough. I’d like to see they spend time with each other as much as with the kids. More quality time they can share between themselves, longer they can commit to each other, being a couple and beat out the usual breakup time frame in Hollyweird, then better for their children, no matter how many kids they desire to have. Isn’t it? I really wish their love can stay and last long long time. But raising kids, especially so many young kids at the same time, it’s tough and will bring a lot pressure.
I just wish the best for Angelina, Brad and their family.

She’s a compulsive child collector. Adoption and having children is nice but she talks and goes about it like she is collecting shoes or more nicely pets. I guess she decided another Asian boy was the right race and gender to shop for to add to her collection. Now she will have another prop to shove in front of the cameras to get herself media attention as “Saint Angelina.” I just wish she, idiot fratboy Pitt and their rainbow troupe would go away. I’m so sick of them. I wish they would move to Namibia permanently and no longer ruin movies with their pathetic acting abilities.
I hate how they talk and act like they are the only ones with children or adopted third world children (it’s all been done before from Josephine Baker to Mia Farrow). And Angie thinks she can buy herself love and cure her mental disorders by buying all these kids, but the crazy is still there. She needs to get some therapy. She’s not a sane or moral woman.

I agree with the rest of you about the validity of any story coming from US Weekly. They have a horrible track record. But I could believe Brad & Angie adopting a Vietnamese boy based on what Angie told Diane Sawyer back in December ‘06. She said she and Brad wanted to carefully consider what would be best for the kids. So…having a brother for Mad of the same ethnicity wouldn’t be too unbelievable to me. I guess we’ll find out what’s the truth in a few months.
I’m REALLY glad to be out of the other hellacious ‘Brad and Angei Keeping it Together’ thread, believe me…but since when has US Magazine become the arbiter of TRUTH.
This is the same rag, that started the whole ‘Angelina has fallen from grace because Ryan Seacrest said she was mean at the GG’s and because she called her daughter a blob, and humiliated Maniston in Vogue and other kitchen sink items. US started that whole ball rolling - yet now we’re linking and posting their lies? This week they’re saying Angelina is suffering from depression and is almost anorexic and that Brad doesn’t know what to do to help. This is who we want to drive traffic to now? Janice Min and US - yeah, they’ve been so supportive of this family.
I’m not going to get too upset, because as rumors go, it’s a positive one - and Lord knows, it’s still better than excerpting some negative rag that says Brad and Ange are working through their problems and issues in counseling…but at the end of the day, it is US Ragazine.
They don’t know sh*t.
Brad and Angie have said they would adopt ‘next,’ shortly after Shiloh got here. Brad has been shouting that they were going for a soccer team this entire year. So we already know what’s coming of course - we just don’t know when exactly. It’s not that big a leap to assume they want a little boy close to Mad’s age, nor is it a leap that the child will be asian, I think that’s important to them for Mad - Angie talked about that at length too. So all these rags have to do is keep printing adoption stories and sooner or later they’re bound to be right, just based on what Brad and Angelina have already said themselves.
But US mag? Come on.

Wonderful news if true. This child would surely be blessed to become part of this amazing, loving, and beautiful family. IMO it’s better to have the children close in age as they all enjoy growing up together. Coming from a family of 9, and my own 3 being close in age, I say “go for it Brad and Angie!”
