Oscar winners Julia Roberts and George Clooney interview each other at George’s home in the Hollywood Hills during Oprah’s Oscar Special. The pair receive a surprise phone call from pal Brad Pitt and hilarity ensues. Here’s a mini-transcript of their conversation together:
Julia: George Clooney’s house. Hello?
Brad: Julia? Hey, it’s Brad. Listen, I was thinking I would avoid the line of questioning about the Oscars. You know, I would stick with the [People's] Sexiest Man Alive line of questioning. Who’s that [in the background]? Is that George?
George: Hey, hi!
Brad: Hey, how are you doing? We’ve just been talking about how great we thought it was that you were the two-time Sexiest Man Alive winner…and you know George, you’re a real inspiration, a real inspiration to us younger guys.
George: I just wanted you to know that I thought you looked great when you didn’t win at the Golden Globes.
Brad: Thank you, man. Thank you! And I think the plastic surgery is fantastic! You really cannot tell. You really can’t tell. Hey listen, while I’ve got you on the phone, I think the question America really wants to know and hear from you is what exactly are the responsibilities of wearing the crown of the Sexiest Man Alive?
George: Well, you did a pretty good job of tarnishing it for a long time and they thought they’d bring me in to clean it up again. I think I’m doing a really good job.
There are also completely false Internet rumors that George had plastic surgery. Lies, lies, lies! If you watch the interview below, you’ll know he was speaking in jest.
George won an Oscar in 2006 for Syriana. Julia took home the coveted statue in 2001 for her work in Erin Brockovich.

Love the friendship betwixt the three. George & Julia remind me of 21st century Grant & Hepburn, and Brad’s their Jimi Stewart.

I thought the interview was funny and cute but this isn’t going to replace BW imo. I thought Brad calling was a nice touch and George and Brad were getting in good digs at each other…loved that. I still can’t believe Julia is pg again…good for her!

Oh yeah, taht is when Aniston waited for like 10-15 minutes in the red carpet for george clooney to finish signing autographs and gave him a real tight hug, for a TV moment. Goerge was gentleman as ever, and hug her also, but alas, thats all there is to it!

George cannot stand the dumb b*tch, because she is a joke and ruined ‘Rumor Has It,’ which he exec produced, she got HIS director Jonathan Demme fired because she thought his lighting was making her look 65 years old. So they had to bring in Reiner at the last minute, and of course - the movie sucked big time (as if it wouldn’t have with HER starring, hahaha!). Then to top THAT off, she made it even worse by telling everybody how horrible the movie was before the f*cker even came out on DVD (a no-no in the industry) But before all that, Brad was just BEYOND mortified and embarrassed by her when she did get an opportunity to work with one of his friends. The dumb *****, laughingly thought by dissing the movie publicly she was in turn dissing George and Brad…when the fool was actually dissing Warner Brothers and going against Industry protocol. …hahaha - and people wonder why the b*tch is reduced to scaring up parts on cr*ppy syndicated TV shows, and having Grey’s and 24 turn her simple ass down. She’s toast!
If Brad hadn’t fallen head over heels for Angelina, that kind of sh*t ALONE had him running for the hills.
Brad’s A-lister pals that USED to just tolerate her because she was with him — can now loathe the simple b*tch to their heart’s content, she’s given them more than enough reason by stabbing Brad in the back in Vanity Fair, whining for the last 2 years straight, and leaking lies to the tabloids on a regular basis.
The A-listers think Brad had the luckiest escape of his life from this passive aggressive ho’, and can now hate her in peace, without feeling any vestiges of guilt because she got dumped.

How George and Brad spoke to each other how guys talk when they are good friends. What’s the big deal. They are always going after each other. Like Brad paying to put that silly photo of George in Variety and the Hollywood Reporter and then George coming back at him on Letterman.
