Oscar winners Julia Roberts and George Clooney interview each other at George’s home in the Hollywood Hills during Oprah’s Oscar Special. The pair receive a surprise phone call from pal Brad Pitt and hilarity ensues. Here’s a mini-transcript of their conversation together:
Julia: George Clooney’s house. Hello?
Brad: Julia? Hey, it’s Brad. Listen, I was thinking I would avoid the line of questioning about the Oscars. You know, I would stick with the [People's] Sexiest Man Alive line of questioning. Who’s that [in the background]? Is that George?
George: Hey, hi!
Brad: Hey, how are you doing? We’ve just been talking about how great we thought it was that you were the two-time Sexiest Man Alive winner…and you know George, you’re a real inspiration, a real inspiration to us younger guys.
George: I just wanted you to know that I thought you looked great when you didn’t win at the Golden Globes.
Brad: Thank you, man. Thank you! And I think the plastic surgery is fantastic! You really cannot tell. You really can’t tell. Hey listen, while I’ve got you on the phone, I think the question America really wants to know and hear from you is what exactly are the responsibilities of wearing the crown of the Sexiest Man Alive?
George: Well, you did a pretty good job of tarnishing it for a long time and they thought they’d bring me in to clean it up again. I think I’m doing a really good job.
There are also completely false Internet rumors that George had plastic surgery. Lies, lies, lies! If you watch the interview below, you’ll know he was speaking in jest.
George won an Oscar in 2006 for Syriana. Julia took home the coveted statue in 2001 for her work in Erin Brockovich.

My God, Julia Roberts wears the ugliest shoes. Brad Pitt is a total douchebag - my apologies to all his fans, but I have NEVER been able to abide that man.

Julia & George’s interview was so funny - silly - but funny and relaxed. In contrast Russell & Nicole’s interview seemed so tense. I didn’t realize how reserved Nicole is. Watching Julia & Nicole was like night and day.

Oh how I miss the old times - of real good discussions about BAMZS, the countries they visited, NOLA(in a positive way), adoption(positively and insightful), the UNHCR and various countries that these two have visited.
Right now, I really don’t want to know who is an Aniston hater or fan. That is not waht I come here to read about. All I want to read is Brad, Angelina and the kids news - legit news and preferably NOT tabloids. The latter I laugh at and that’s about it. Nothing else.

I love how George calls Brad the best “two timer” and we all know what meant by that. IF Jen does come out, just goes to show you that BP is worthless in bed, she turned gay .. Angie and him are not having sex ppl. Tell me when they find time btwn kids, work long hrs on sets and saving the world? I bet Angie is wanting more kids so she can use that typical excuse of “I am too tired tonight”
Think about it, from the moment they have met (well so called got together which was a lie) they have had nothing but kids. Where is that parent time, couple time … they use the kids as their connection, the biggest mistake ever. Kids cover … dooommmed! Jen didnt want him kids ( she know something about him that wasnt right) and then Angie said “Well I will have our kids” she had one and said “Nope no more for me, Jen was right” and now she wants even more that will absorb even more time, which means not enuf time for boom boom time. Face it, BP has some issue’s that women do not want “his” kids.

chain smoking and tanning are finally taking its toll. Her nose are much narrower but still so big , making her face longer with chin more prominent. Brad really deserves more than that.
Wowser, Cox looks way better that Chin Chin… she obviously has a better plastic man, and good for her. In an industry, where a 42 year old woman is given one more chance to make it with her show about dirt, you gotta admit she went all out. She may not have facial movements above her nose, but she looks good.
Chinny, on the other hand, just looks tired. Her eyes most likey need to have a plastic induced wake up call….at her age with no one throwing scripts her way, she better follow in her BFF’s footsteps. Maybe it isn’t tiredness, perhaps it just sadness that is showing through her eyes. They are the window to the soul, after all.
Each time she hears about the success of the JP’s it has to drive her nuts (as it does her fans). Each time, there is a photo of the happy family, it has to drive her nuttier, and because I think she’s a first class media *****, I hope 2007 brings the JP’s a bigger family, more success and the Chin can realize all that she could have had. Stupid , stupid girl …
Julia Roberts is a true beauty inside and out. I love her smile & she seems so fun & down to earth. A beautiful women not falling into the traps of being overtly sexy. She is a role model to me & i hope to grow into the women that she is.
